After a few weeks of staying in Drum Island and being resupplied with food, water, warm clothes, and even some of Kureha's medical books, the Going Merry was fully stocked to head back out into the ocean. I smiled. As I held the books, that Kureha's book. Zoro's arms were around my waist. Kureha returned the smile. "You're ready to keep up on your training, Katherine. You have come a long way, and as your mentor, I'm proud of you. I know your father is."
I smiled. "Thank you, Kureha."
Kureha placed a hand on my shoulder showing her martial side once again. "I hope you and your friends return once you complete what your looking for. I said it when we met and I'll say it again. You look like your father."
Nami and the others came over. "Hey, are you two coming? The ship is ready to go?"
I nodded. "Yeah, we're coming." I hugged Kureha before, with Zoro's help boarding the Going Merry. I spotted Chopper. "So, you've decided to join us after all."
Chopper nodded. "Your captain can be persuasive."
I chuckled. "That's Luffy for you. I'm very happy that you've joined us. We tried to have my friend Sara join us, but she politely refused."
"You don't have to worry about anything, Kat. I'll make sure that you and your unborn son are well taken care of as well as everyone on this ship."
I smiled. "Thank you, Chopper."
The small reindeer smiled big and hopped up on the rail of the ship as Drum Island disappeared from view.
