Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Powerful Magical Constitution Black Widow Visits

After sending Melissa away, Lin Mei immediately hurried back to his room upstairs. As soon as he shut the door behind him, the energy raging within his body could no longer be contained. His breathing grew erratic, his pulse pounding like a war drum.

The dragon blood he had refined earlier surged wildly through his veins, causing an uncontrollable transformation to take place. A searing heat radiated from deep within, spreading to every inch of his being. His muscles tensed involuntarily, and then, almost as if responding to some ancient call, his skin began to shift.

Brilliant, iridescent dragon scales emerged, forming a dazzling yet fearsome armor around his body. Each scale shimmered with an intricate blend of colors, indicating the presence of multiple elemental forces residing within him. Unlike an ordinary dragon's transformation, which typically followed a single elemental path, Lin Mei's change was a chaotic mixture of conflicting attributes—fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, and even light and darkness intertwined within him.

"Lin! What the hell is happening?" he shouted inwardly, feeling his energy spiraling out of control. "Why is the power in my body so chaotic?"

A familiar, mocking voice echoed in his mind. Alein, the ancient dragon spirit sealed within him, chuckled with undisguised amusement. "Serves you right," Alein taunted. "You were already walking a delicate balance with all these attributes, and then you went and used Dragon Roar? What were you thinking? Now the light attributes in your body have been suppressed, and the other energies are going berserk. Congratulations, genius."

Lin Mei clenched his fists, frustration bubbling inside him. "So what do I do? This is unbearable!"

"Hah! There are two ways to fix this mess," Alein responded with a smirk audible in his voice. "First, you could consume light elements directly. That should replenish the suppressed energy and bring balance back."

Without hesitation, Lin Mei glanced around the room and tried to absorb the artificial light from his lamps. He reached out, willing the energy to enter his body. But nothing happened.

Alein erupted into laughter. "You fool! The lights in your world don't contain pure light elements! Only sunlight can help you."

Lin Mei groaned in frustration. "Fine! Then what's the second method?"

"Meditation," Alein answered, his voice finally serious. "You need to recover the light attribute power naturally, just like human mages do. Once it reaches equilibrium, the chaos in your body will settle down."

Lin Mei sighed in relief. At least this method was feasible. Among the knowledge Alein's mother had passed down, there was plenty of information on how human magicians practiced. Without wasting another moment, Lin Mei sat cross-legged on his bed, closed his eyes, and focused inward.

As he concentrated, his breathing gradually slowed. He visualized the light attribute magic dormant within him and began drawing it forth. A faint glow emanated from his body, illuminating the dim room. Though night shrouded the world outside, an invisible force gathered around him, converging into his very essence.

Alein, observing the process, was taken aback. "Impossible… Lin Mei is absorbing light elements even in darkness? That's insane!"

To Alein, this was a feat beyond comprehension. The laws of magic dictated that light attributes were most easily absorbed under sunlight. For Lin Mei to draw them in during the night meant his magical constitution was far more extraordinary than they had previously believed.

Meanwhile, in the distant Himalayas, a pair of ancient eyes opened.

"This child…" murmured the Sorcerer Supreme, Gu Yi, also known as the Ancient One. She had sensed an anomaly, an unusual fluctuation in the natural balance of magic. Through her mystical sight, she observed Lin Mei's meditation from afar.

She leaned forward, intrigued. "He's not merely balancing multiple attributes—he's reshaping the harmony of magic itself. He doesn't just mix elements; he understands them, allowing them to coexist in a way rarely seen in any mage or dragon."

A spark of excitement flickered in her usually composed gaze. If guided correctly, Lin Mei could grow into a force powerful enough to protect not just his world, but the multiverse itself.

Back in his room, Lin Mei's meditation reached deeper levels. His mind drifted into a realm where elements took visible form around him. Fire flickered beside him, wind swirled around his shoulders, water flowed gently at his feet, and darkness pulsed in the distance. Yet, rather than opposing one another, they coexisted in perfect equilibrium.

Slowly but surely, his light attribute magic replenished, and the other energies within him began to stabilize. The chaotic storm inside him subsided into a serene, synchronized current.

As the first rays of dawn pierced through his window, Lin Mei opened his eyes. A newfound clarity shone in his gaze. He stood up and stretched, feeling the unprecedented strength coursing through him. Confidence surged within him. With this newfound control, perhaps he could finally explore different dimensions, learn the most powerful magics, and push his abilities to even greater heights.

A thought crossed his mind—maybe he should visit the Fairy Tail world. But then, he hesitated. A shudder ran down his spine as he recalled a particular name: Acnologia, the Black Dragon King.

Lin Mei quickly dismissed the idea. "No way. If I step into that world and run into Acnologia, I might not even get the chance to escape. That guy would hunt Alein to the ends of existence!"

Alein scoffed. "Hmph. At least you have some self-preservation instincts."

Lin Mei rolled his eyes and shook off the thought. Instead, he turned his attention to the mundane necessity of washing up. However, just as he finished getting ready for the day, an unexpected knock came at his door.

Curious, he headed downstairs, only to be met by Melissa's bright smile. She was practically beaming with excitement.

"Baby, your new tutor has arrived! Come and say hello!" she announced cheerfully.

Lin Mei blinked, confused. "Tutor?"

Something told him that this was just the beginning of another strange and unpredictable chapter in his life.

Beautiful tutor? This kind of plot?

Lin Mei's eyes immediately landed on the woman standing beside his mother.

"Hello, Mr. Kobayashi! My name is Natasha Romanov, and I will be your new tutor starting today."

The moment he heard her name, Lin Mei's mind whirled. Red hair, striking features, and a figure that could make any man weak in the knees—there was no mistaking it.

Black Widow!

That codename flashed through his thoughts like lightning. Lin Mei's lips curled into a delighted smile as he respectfully said, "Teacher Natasha, I'll be counting on you for my future lessons."

Natasha observed the boy's seemingly innocent expression, her sharp instincts questioning whether her mission briefing had been accurate. Was this child truly the one responsible for the destruction at the vampire gathering last night?

Meanwhile, Lin Mei was mentally groaning.

Which secret agent uses their real name for undercover work? Was this an elaborate joke? The infamous "Black Widow" introducing herself so openly—it was an insult to his intelligence! But then again… who was to say Natasha Romanov was her real name?

Still, despite his inner complaints, Lin Mei maintained his cheerful, wide-eyed smile, feigning the perfect eager student looking forward to his "tutoring lessons."
