"You, dumb bitch, how could you fucking make a mistake like that!? Do you know much—" The man's yelling towards Violet paused when Sylas's sharp eyes fell on the man.
Feeling an invisible pressure weigh down on him, the man's voice turned down by a notch, and he carried on, "Well, you should have been more careful."
Sylas couldn't find himself being hard-hearted towards Violet. "I will pay for the damages. Will that be fine?"
Violet's eyes brightened up when she heard that. There was a mixture of gratitude and guilt reflected in her gaze.
"How dare you arrogantly think that you can walk around her and demand to pay for the damages, expecting everything will be fine? Do you think money will solve everything!?" The man yelled, trying to exert his power.
Sylas arched his brow.
"Is that so?" There was a drop in Sylas's tone.
