Caliste moved sneakily with Fleur as they managed to reach the back of the main tent without being spotted by anyone. Being dressed as one of the heretics made things much easier, as they were not easily noticed since they looked alike.
If they hadn't captured those two people who had left their camp, things would have been much harder than this.
Still… it was only a matter of time before they discovered the corpses right outside the ramparts and noticed the disappearances.
In fact, it was already happening.
"Why are Loic and Alek taking so long? They should have been back already," a man guarding the main tent muttered to someone else.
"Mhm… you're right. The elves have been getting closer to us recently. Though, I don't think they would have acted so rashly. They're probably just lazing around or something."
The man frowned but didn't say anything else, only nodding.
