The woman's voice from the other end of the phone was full of pleas.
"Please help me, I'm begging you."
"Don't call me Fany, we're hardly acquainted," Tiffany looked disgusted.
"As for the help you're asking for, I'm sorry, but I'm powerless."
She didn't understand why Lizzy had suddenly lost her mind and managed to get her number through other classmates.
She wanted Tiffany's help to get Camilla to listen to her apology.
This unusual behavior seemed more like a weasel paying a New Year visit to a chicken - up to no good.
"We're university classmates, how can we be strangers?"
Despite the gloom in Lizzy's eyes, she kept her tone polite.
"Tiffany, I was wrong to continually single out Camilla in the past,"
Her voice was incredibly low.
"I've truly learned my lesson from last time."
"No matter what, you just can't compare to Camilla, yet you keep on trying, becoming upset when you fail," Tiffany hooked up the corner of her lips.
