Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: I'm not paying taxes, Cadet.

As the city still has to recover from the devastation caused by The Hurricanez, In a dimly lit room within a government facility, a high-ranking officials gathered around a large screen, showing footage of Superior Cadet, Supa K, and Eclipsion's from the recent battle.

"They may have saved the city, but we cannot ignore the fact that they're not from this world, I want eye's on them and counter attack thoughts." one of the officials said, voice grave. "This is no longer just about keeping the public safe. If these beings are truly aliens, we need to prepare for a worst-case scenario, we don't know if they'll turn their back on us."

The camera zoomed in on a towering figure in the corner of the room a General named Nathaniel Foster, a man with cold eyes and a calculating demeanor, and a will to protect The world at all costs. As His fingers drummed on the armrest of his chair as he regarded the footage of the three heroes. "We had our eyes on them for years, If they're aliens...we need to know more about them, how they live and how can we kill them. We need to understand what drives them, what keeps them here. If they are hiding something, we need to be ready, get details on them now."

---Meanwhile, back at the Hero's Apartment

Superior Cadet, Supa K, and Eclipsion returned to their base, a hidden compound located deep within a mountain range. It was their sanctuary from the world, where they could train, regroup, and find moments of peace. But even from here, Kameron felt the weight of being an outsider, he doesn't belong here.

"I can't shake this feeling that we're just one step away from being caught," Kameron muttered, his eyes scanning the walls of their underground base. "It's like we're living on borrowed time. How long before they figure out what we are?"

Supa K, has always been the optimist, he grinned. "You're overthinking it, man. We've got this. The public loves us, i mean heck they wouldn't mind that we're aliens!"

Eclipsion, the strategist, remained silent, his eyes narrowed as he analyzed the situation. He knew Kameron was right. The tension in the air had been growing ever since the team's victory over The Hurricanez. But for now, they had no choice but to carry on.

"It's not just about what the people think," Eclipsion said, his voice dark and calm. "The Governments goons are starting to catch onto us. They're watching us. And the longer we stay here, the more likely it is that we'll be discovered. After all some of our people are scattered across the universe. We should've chose a different route after leaving homeworld."

Kameron's gaze hardened. "I know. We should've went somewhere else. But what choice do we have? If we leave now, where will we go? What if we're just being hunted by the government aswell?"

Supa K stepped forward, a cocky grin plastered on his face. "Then we show them who we really are. They want answers? Let's give them a show they'll never forget. After all we can't hide for too long, we are here to save the world, not end it."

---The News Broadcast

As the team debated their next move, Lisa Kelson prepared to deliver the evening news. Standing in front of the camera, her eyes focused on the monitor that displayed images of the team in action. She had always admired their heroism, but she couldn't ignore the repeating questions that lingered around in her mind.

"The Hurricanez may have been stopped," she began, "but there's still something that doesn't sit right about these heroes. Superior Cadet, Supa K, and Eclipsion—while their powers seem to come straight out of a comic book—are anything but ordinary. Rumors have begun to circulate, suggesting that they aren't from this world. Could they be aliens? What are their true intentions? And what does their heroism mean for the future of Earth?"

Linda paused, her expression thoughtful. "We don't know who they really are, but what we do know is that they've saved us again and for the thirteenth time. And we owe them our lives. But how long will they be able to stay here? Will they be our protectors, or is there something more dangerous over the horizon?"

That night, as the heroes rested, a mysterious visitor arrived at their base. General Foster, with his military forces, appeared at the mountain's entrance, demanding to speak with the team.

"You're not from around here, and what are you," Foster said, his eyes narrowing as he stood before them and the military behind them. "We've been monitoring your activities for years You're powerful, but you're also unpredictable. What's stopping you from turning on us?"

Kameron stepped forward, his head tilting down1. "We're not here to cause trouble. We want to protect Earth. But if you think you can threaten us, you're wrong."

Supa K smirked, his usual cocky attitude shining through. "This guy's got a lot of nerve coming here, huh?"

Eclipsion remained silent, his shadowy form barely visible in the darkened room. He eyed Foster with suspicion, then looks at Supa K. " Easy K, He's right to be cautious," he said quietly. "We may be heroes, but we're still aliens. If we were in their shoes, we'd be asking the same questions."

General Foster wasn't easily intimidated. "We don't need heroes we can't control. I suggest you, work with the government or forms of agencies within the U.S, I know you kids can help, but its best you don't try to hide andfake your identity to us. I can trust you especially since theirs other aliens on the planet that are helpful to us and the United States. Besides, we can trust you Right?"

Kameron's eyes glare with shock. "Wait, your not kicking us out? And theirs other aliens besides us? And yea you can trust us."

As the conversation grew, a hidden relief lingered in the hearts of the heroes. The truth was revealed, our heroes were from alien race named Aetherion's and that they were on a alien war on each other and That they escaped from the planet and will later regroup to save the universe.

Later that night, Kameron sat alone in the base's control room, staring out at the stars through a large glass window. The silence around him was deafening. He thought about his home planet, his family, the life he'd left behind. Was it wrong to blame himself to stay on Earth? Was it possible to make a life here, despite everything he was?

Supa K entered the room, his usual upbeat demeanor replaced with a rare seriousness. "You good, man?"

Kameron didn't answer right away. He just stared out into the void. "I don't know if I am. We're not meant to be here. And every day I wonder if we're just one mistake away from being dead that day. Maybe it's time we stop running and face the truth."

Supa K sat next to him, glancing up at the stars. "We can't control everything. But as long as we stick together and regroup, we'll figure it out. We don't need all the answers right away. We just need to keep doing the right thing. Protecting this world, even if it means we're the outsiders. It's who we are."

Kameron's eyes softened as he looked at his friend. For the first time in a while, he felt a sense of peace. Maybe Supa K was right. Maybe they didn't need all the answers. Maybe all they needed was each other.

The next day, the team gathered in their base. General Foster visit had left an undeniable tension hanging in the air, but they knew they couldn't hide forever. There was still work to be done. The Earth needed them.

Kameron stood before his team, a renewed sense of purpose in his eyes. "We're not going to run from who we are anymore. We're not perfect, but we have a duty to this world. We protect it, no matter the cost."

Eclipsion nodded, his eyes gleaming with quiet determination. "I agree. I'll find a way to get Aetherion communication."

Supa K grinned, his usual confidence back. "That's the spirit, guys! Let's show them what happens when they mess with Earth's best heroes!"

As the team prepared for their next move, knowing that they were facing more than just villains they were facing the uncertainty of their own existence. But with their bond stronger than ever, they were ready for whatever came next.
