Stoneclaw exhaled, stepping forward as Zain vanished from sight.
"Guess it's my turn."
He spread his stance, focused his breath and activated his ability.
His hands rippled as Claw Shift took hold, fingers lengthening into claws.
But he wasn't finished.
Rock Hand surged in next.
Rock fragments flowed from his forearms, coating his claws in dense layers of reinforced rock.
His hands now ended in solid rock-forged claws, strong and heavy.
Blast snorted. "Really? You're charging me with garden tools?"
Stoneclaw didn't answer.
He just started running.
Blast flicked a few metal disks forward—Impact Tags, thin and glinting.
They stuck to the ground and air shimmered from their activation.
"Boom time," Blast said, grinning as the tags detonated in rapid bursts.
BOOM!
Smoke rushed outward. Flame and dust swallowed the lane.
Blast laughed. "You heroes really think—"
The smoke parted.
Stoneclaw kept rushing, rock claws raised in front of his face.
