"Alright. Since everyone's been buzzing about it for days now," he said casually, "let's talk about the mock exams and how they'll work this year."
The class didn't go silent like it was some big reveal. They already knew. But they still leaned in a little, waiting for details.
"You've all heard the basics. The location's confirmed. We'll be using one of the outer layers of a real forbidden zone."
Some students murmured, not out of shock—but more out of nerves.
"Yeah, the same one from last year," Mr. Halden added. "The one with decent terrain and manageable low-level beasts."
He paused and scanned the room. "And before anyone asks, yes, it's safe enough. The danger's controlled. You're not getting thrown into the deep end."
