Jihoon's eyes fluttered open, disoriented by his unusual sleeping position.
For a second, he couldn't place where he was. His body felt like it was floating, rising and falling slowly beneath him.
Confused, he lowered his gaze.
The first thing he saw was a black shirt, partially unbuttoned at the collar, exposing the curve of a muscular neck and the rise of an Adam's apple that moved with each breath.
Jihoon froze. His eyes followed the line of that neck before his brain caught up with his gaze. He stared for a long second–then slapped his own cheek, as if trying to wake himself from a dream.
What are you doing?!
What the hell are you staring at?!
His mind slowly pieced together fragments of what had happened, and his heart started to race. Added to that, the sudden realization of their close proximity was making his cheeks burn.
