"Aria Verdreaux, a new pain in our side" Amelia Miller, a woman with short blonde and hair green eyes said in front of a small group of people, as the news about the stolen diamond showed on the tv. "Have we put a Face to the name yet?" Kodie Miller, her son and a Man with Blonde hair, Green Eyes and a scruffy beard, asked. "Not yet" said his father Brett Miller who had black hair brown eyes and a bread.
"I think its time we send someoneto deal with her" said Amelia. "Im not sure how but she's somehow managing to Aquire all of our target before we even get the chance" Amelia added. "Ill do it" Kodie said "I can get it done faster then anyone else in Snare" he told them.
"Aria are you ok?" Julia asked handing a bottle of water to Aria who sat on a couch just looking out the window. Aria looked up at Julia, her long blonde hair was tyed up in a bun to keep it out of her face and her brown eyes reflected the worry she had on her face.
Aria looked away from Julia. "On the last job I met a man" she said as she looked back out the window. "A man?" Elliot, Julia's twin brother questioned as he entered the room. "His eyes glowed orange and he had trained wolves at his command" she told them.
Julia turned to look at Elliot. They were obviously thinking the same thing as they stared in silence.
"Aria" Jaxon suddenly chirped in on their ear pieces. "What's up Jax?" Aria asked. "Snare is active again" he told them. "This time their going for a valuable piece from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo" he told her. "That's a little far from here" Aria said.
But to her that didn't matter. After all she had her ways of traveling the world.
Then she finally made it to Cairo.
Aria and her team had already been briefed about Snare's interest in the Egyptian artifact. They knew they had to act fast.
"Alright, we need to split up and cover more ground," Aria said, her voice steady and commanding. "Jules, you and Elliot check the marketplace for any leads on Snare. They like to hide in the shadows before a heist. Jaxon, keep monitoring Snare's communications. I'll head to the museum to see what I can find."
As Aria approached the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, she couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. The bustling streets and the warm sun did little to ease her nerves. She entered the museum, her eyes scanning for any signs of Snare operatives.
Inside, the museum was a maze of ancient artifacts and relics. Aria moved swiftly through the large groups of tourists that had come to see the artifacts within the museum. her footsteps echoing softly against the marble floors. She finally reached the exhibit that had her to be opened to the public an exihibit showcasing the artifact: an ornate golden amulet said to possess mystical powers.
Just as she was about to examine it closely, she felt a presence behind her. Spinning around, she came face to face with a tall, imposing figure. His eyes glowed a familiar orange.
"It's you," Aria whispered, recognizing the alpha werewolf from her last encounter. "What are you doing here?"
The werewolf smirked, a few his wolves In their human forms appearing from the shadows, surrounding them. "I could ask you the same thing. But it seems our paths are destined to cross"
Before Aria could react, the museum's alarms blared, and chaos erupted. Aria took her chance to snag the amulet as Snare operatives stormed in, their eyes set on where the amulet once was, as the museum went into lock down. Aria knew she had to act quickly.
"Julia, Elliot, Stay away from the museum!" Aria shouted into her earpiece as she prepared to fend off both Snare and the werewolf.
The battle for the artifact was about to begin, and Aria was determined not to let it fall into the wrong hands.
"Wait" a voice familiar to her yelled as he slowly enter the Exhibit room. Aria wasn't surprised to see him. After all she knew it was only a matter of time before she would be forced to run into him.
Kodie stopped as he stared at the girl in front of him. "Mya?" Kodie questioned with a look of shock on his face. Aria walked closer to Kodie. Walking past Zane and in the process and slipping the amulet into his pocket. "I go by Aria Now" she told him simply.
Zane and his pack members only watched in silence as he put his hand in his pocket and suddenly noticed the amulet. -go- he linked his pack. The few that had entered with him slipping back into the shadows and disappearing.
"Your Aria VerDreaux" Kodie said as he stared at the girl he once saw as his sister. "I am" she said simply. Before turning to Zane. "You should go" she told him. "We'll talk later?" She added. Zane only looked between the two for a second before turning and disappearing into the shadows.
"Give me the amulet and I'll forget I ever saw you" he told her. "I don't have it" she told him. "Your the only one sly enough to snag it without anyone noticing mya" he said. Aria decided to walk past him attempting to make her way to where the tourists were. "The other is gone sir" said one of the snare operatives "how did he…" "it seems I'm not the only one" she remarked. "Mya!" Kodie said grabbing her arm and forcing her to turn to him. Aria ripped her arm out of his grasp. "Mya, If you come home now we'll forget this betrayal" kodie told her. "Betrayal?" Aria Questioned. "Your the ones that betrayed me" she told him. "Your the ones that lied to me for 17 years" she added. "Mya" he said again as she turned away from him. "That place isn't my home" she said anger in her voice.
"and for the last time" she said as she began to walk away from him. "It's Aria… Aria Verdreaux" she added.
