Leon was not a genius. In fact, he was known among his friends as the guy who did dumb things but somehow managed to survive them. His days were spent reading comics, playing RPG games, and barely passing his school tests.
One night, after an intense gaming marathon, Leon dozed off with his headphones on, an open bag of chips beside him. He had just reached the final boss in his favorite game, a moment he had dreamed of. "Just one more try..." he mumbled before exhaustion took over.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself not in his messy room but in the middle of a strange forest under a sky with two suns. The first thought that crossed his mind was...
"Oh god... I slept so much that I changed planets?!"
He stood up slowly, rubbed his head, and looked around. The trees were unnaturally tall, the air oddly fresh. No sound of cars, no buildings—just nature... and a strange little creature staring at him.
"Hmm? A rabbit? No... why does it have a horn?"
The creature resembled a rabbit but had a small glowing horn. Before Leon could process the situation, a transparent screen appeared before him, written in an unfamiliar language.
Welcome to Eldoras!
You have been reincarnated into this world due to a "cosmic error."
Your goal? Live as you please!
You have obtained the System Ability: The more you train, the stronger you become!
Note: Your luck is below average.
"...Wait, what? Cosmic error? And a system ability?" Leon muttered as he stared at the screen.
Before he could react, the ground beneath him trembled. He turned around slowly, his eyes widening as he saw a giant four-eyed wolf emerging from the trees.
"Oh, this is bad," he said before sprinting away at full speed.
Leon ran like a madman, dodging trees and jumping over fallen logs, but the wolf's roar grew closer. "I don't want to die twice!" he yelled desperately.
Just as the wolf was about to pounce on him, a blue energy wave shot through the air. A shining silver sword streaked across the sky, radiating magical energy, slicing its way toward the beast.
In an instant, a tall figure stood before him, wearing a black coat embroidered with golden threads. His cold eyes locked onto Leon.
With a sudden burst of speed, the man appeared right in front of the wolf in an instant, his movements almost invisible. The air around him shimmered as if space itself was warping. With a flicker, he vanished, reappearing behind the beast in the blink of an eye. His sword gleamed, radiating an overwhelming aura of destruction.
With a single fluid motion, he slashed through the creature, making it collapse lifelessly before it even realized what had happened.
Leon stood frozen. "W-Wha...?"
The man turned, his piercing gaze settling on Leon. "You idiot, are you seriously planning to die in the first five minutes of your arrival?"
Leon stared at the mysterious person, then grinned foolishly. "Who are you? My guardian angel?"
The man sighed, sheathing his sword. "I'm... Ricardo. And it looks like I'll be the one saving you from your own stupidity."
Leon, despite everything, had no idea that his peaceful life had ended before it even began.
