Ash: I can see status of my subject and he started thinking, it is hidden feature of altar, maybe it is hidden because it will create a lot of chaos in the heart of subject, so this is not common knowledge about this or Evan not told me about this but I hope my first guess is right and most altar owners hide this knowledge and Ash can see why altar owner do this and Ash is also not planning to tell this about anyone, it will help determine the loyalty of the subject.

Ash thinks half the time is spent before attack; it really makes me feel I am so slow but I am giving my all in this world. I hope to find something in another trip that makes my life easier and let my territory grow strong and let me first spend time to relax before attack. And, he arrived near the altar and he went to call Evan and he said to Evan loudly and clear, Evan come out and absorb mana mist later.
We have to make new spike pit and repair the old spike and so get up my friend to work, after all we have to defend city, all we got, Evan started to come out from altar. He said to Ash let's go my lord we need to do our best.
Ash nodded and both go out of the city and go where monster will attack.
And here, they see many woods are broken and they have to replace it and Ash thinks they are in luck because monster will only attack the same golden barrier where they attacked yesterday so they can expand spike pit and replace the broken woods easily and they will be able to do some extra to increase sharpness of wood spike and create more fatal trap for upcoming monster.
Ash and Evan started to work on expansion and upgradation of pit spike trap quickly and in timely manner.
After 4 hours,
they complete all the work of upgradation of pit spike and they start to relax slowly and start to see if there are any errors in their work and it needs more perfection. After 15 mins check of everything and not finding any problem so Ash asks to Evan, should we head towards the city?
And evan said "yes" my lord, we should head towards the territory and relax and when they started to come to city gate from afar, they see one person is standing in front of door of city gate and his clothes are dirty and blood is on his shoulder and face and stomach is almost badly injured and his injuries are everywhere in the body.
As if he can die anytime but he is standing in front of them and any other person has this kind of injury he would probably die. Ash is thinking and he is seeing if I have half of this injury, I would die a long time ago so they understand one thing very much that this person is very strong and very high level so Ash and Evan are also nervous because they are not under golden barrier, outside of golden barrier so they do not have any protection against this person.
Evan told Ash, in some altar city, high-level people control territory owner with their will and territory owner cannot do a thing because they poison him or use some ability to control him or his life or their family's life.

Ash started to go in the city gate in front of that injured man confidently and Evan also followed confidently without any fear and Ash not say anything to Evan about coming confidently in front of injured man but Ash knows Evan is smart person, he likely understands that person is very strong and he can listen to our talk so both of us going confidently in front of him and that will not make that person react violently, after all he does not know Ash is city owner.
After both Ash and Evan enter a golden barrier, then Ash started to ask question to the injured man. Ash said to injured man "Who are you? and why are you here?" and then injured man told his name is Ram and he is at level 3 and he is knight of the previous city where he used to live.
And he is injured because he is defending an altar city of level 3 and city altar is destroyed and he fled from the city and after a long time in dark tunnel of Eldros world, he sees this city's gate and came to rest and find some protection for the time being here for some time and after that he will go to the other city, for that he will give one request to Ash and help in defending his city altar.
And Ash asked why should I believe you that you are not lying to me and not trying to kill me in the city or harm me in any other way, injured man: I can take a mana oath with you if you want and it is most binding oath, if you do not follow your mana oath then you cannot progress in mana mist absorption and the level will be stagnant after long duration the level will drop because you cannot absorb mana mist and mana mist is necessary to fulfill mana required on that level of person, bigger the level of person the more mana mist he has to consume otherwise his level will drop.
After thinking 5 min, Ash decides to make him citizen of city because of his level and mana oath he will take before going to enter in a city.
After that injured person says in front of ash and altar city, I Ram take oath on mana that I will not attack or use any means that is harmful to this city and its owner and its citizens provided that they don't try to provoke or harm me in any way and I will defend this city when I live in this city.
And Ash started to see Ram's status window, pop-up window comes in front of Ash...

And Ash also takes oath in front of Ram for winning the heart of ram and says I Ash take oath of mana that I will not attack Ram or harm him in any other way provided that he will not attack my city or try to harm me or my subject.
Ash thinks that ram start to see him as if he is joking but ram thinks oath on mana must comply otherwise this altar is doomed but he thinks this altar owner is not dumb so he takes his word seriously and Ram enters the city without any hindrance and caution.
Ram asks permission from Ash to enter altar for mana absorption and Ash gives his permission because of Ram's injury.
So,
Ram goes toward the altar and started taking mana mist in his body quickly without any problem.
Ash sees his monster attack window and pop-up window comes in front of his eyes...
