"Ku-ki-Kai!" You ran around the house in search for the masked man. "Ku-ki. ku-ki. ku-ki." You finally found him walking around alone. "Kai!"
He groaned and tilted his head back over his shoulder to lazily look your way. "What is it now?"
"This is a weird request, but!" You ran up then abruptly stopped in front of the guy. Your eyes darted to the floor, a faint blush forming as you forced the request out. "Can you remove my mammary glands please?!"
Kai's eyelashes fluttered open and closed as he stared at you with the widest stare he could muster. No doubt you had his attention. Finally, he gathered enough of his breath to speak. "...Your... breasts? What is this for?" His brows then furrowed. "Did someone molest you?"
"No-no! I-it's actually for the fighting ring thing! Today is Topless Tuesday, a-and I couldn't really opt out of it without looking like a wimp; so-so I accepted and am already regretting it!"
"You're actually susceptible to peer pressure?"
"There were a lot of people there, okay!? And nobody knows for sure whether I'm a girl or not, a-and I'd prefer to keep it that way!"
"Sounds like a you problem then. I don't have to get involved for this issue to be resolved." He turned away coldly, though the image of your overly flustered self stuck in his head like some kind of airborne virus.
You grabbed the man's jacket sleeve. "Oh come on! Pleeeease!" The young man yanked his arm free while turning to glare at you harshly. His eyes softened, however, as they landed on those begging puppy eyes of yours.
"...Hhhhh, fine. In return, make moves to get even closer with Humarise sooner than later, alright?"
You bowed. "Yessir!" Kai slipped off his glove and held out his hand, palm up, waiting for yours to join it. You removed your own glove and placed it on top of his. The next moment, every part of your body was suddenly so sore, like you were cramping everywhere! "Owwww!" You pulled your hand away and hugged your arms close. It.. it worked though! They were gone!
Kai sighed as he pulled out a cleaning wipe for his hand. "Yeah, you're going to be a little sore for a few minutes. Let me know when you're done crossdressing." With that, he slid his glove back on and left you. You felt your own chest after being left alone. Aye! You had pecs!
------------------
You still had several hours left before the event -- heck it was still bright outside -- so you threw on some casual clothes, since you were still wearing your school uniform, and left to go find people to show the changes off to while it was still in effect. It was unlikely you'd ever be breastless again.
You threw your hair into a ponytail and took to the skies, adding invisibility into the mix so it just looked like some clothes were flying around. Thanks to the local news, you knew where he might be.
The moment you spotted the hawk, the invisibility deactivated as you swooped down from the clouds. You torpedoed his way, plowing into him and falling with the elder into the roof he was soaring over. As an apology, you took the brunt of the fall. Once grounded, Hawks fought free, pried himself off of you, and held a large feather to your throat. His eyes widened a moment later. "(Y/n)!?"
"In the flesh!" You laughed. The hero stepped back some, remaining cautious still as you stood up. "Hey! Check this out! Rip!" You ripped your own shirt off, bearing your chest. "I've been wanting to do that my whole life!"
"Aa!" The hero jumped away, wings and hands together creating a barrier for his eyes. "The f### would you tackle me to the ground, then flash me for!? It isn't even Spring yet!"
"Bro! Chill! I have no boobs!"
"Like that changes anything!! Wait, what?" His wings pulled away. Between two fingers, one of his eyes caught a peek. His hands fell down at his sides again. "You're a man!?"
"No, not really but also maybe sure."
"You still have feminine hips, though." Hawks pointed out, to which you hissed at him. "What is this anyway? Some kind of new quirk?"
"Nah, I had to ask for help on this one. But hey isn't it kinda cool?? I can finally tan my abs for once!" You turned fully around toward the setting sun and reached out like you were about to hug it. The soft wind against your skin was so surreal. You'd never felt anything quite like it. No twisting, pinching bras and sweaty undershirts! No wonder some guys liked walking around with their shirts off whenever they got the chance!
"It's still pretty weird to have your shirt off like that." The pro hero weaved to the side of you so he wouldn't be stuck seeing nothing but your toned, bare back. He stared up at the side of your face, seeing that your eyes were closed in a state of peace. Feeling the sun's warmth against your skin was far more rewarding than you expected. The young hero chuckled and shook his head. "You sure are a wild one."
"Sorry for ignoring you. It's just... I've always been a free spirit.." Especially in your past life. Back when the rules were merely suggestions. It still felt that way sometimes, but, you hardly had the free time to enjoy it. Your closed lips smiled so big and proud. You hummed in satisfaction, simply enjoying the moment. Reflecting on all the cool things you can do now, all the amazing people you know, and all the endless possibilities you alone hold between your hands... Truly amazing. Your eyes slipped open after a while, noticing then that the new hero was still watching you. "Eh-ah, right. I'm sorry again for taking your time. Literally had no reason to pounce you or anything. Just wanted to show off. Anyways! Um, bye!" You jumped into a strong wing beat, jutting high into the sky above where the clouds glowed of bright pinks and oranges. After you were sure you were out of sight from Keigo, you turned invisible once more and twirled off course in another direction.
Not having a shirt on while flying was pretty wild too!
---------------
You briefly considered visiting Tenko like this. But, then again, you literally just had that discussion about boundaries the other day. You didn't want to make your poor friend suffer any more. So, for his sake, you decided against seeing him.
Instead, you visited another who you knew you would get a good reaction out of~
---------------
You didn't use a portal this time; instead literally just crawling through one of the emergency hatches to get in.
"Heeheehee, oh Daaad~" You wore a mischievous smile. Looking around, you noticed the underground base you had broken into was already half cleaned out. Only a couple Nomu in test tubes remained, half the usual equipment and wires lying around already gone. It was far colder down here. The lack of shirt meant you were given the chills far quicker. You peeked your head into your dad's darkened, sad little room to find the same thing. Only the bare minimum remained. "Huh... They moving?"
"Yes, I thought it was about time to get myself a more fitting living space for once." Around the corner, your dad just then appeared.
"Woah!" You spun around. AFO was quick to raise his hand, censoring your chest with it.
"Is there a reason you are walking around half naked in here?"
You smirked (like Anya) and placed your hands on your hips. "You remember telling me you wished I was a boy? Well, here I am, father! Breasts no more!"
...
Your dad lowered his hand for half a second, then put it back. He didn't look impressed, or even amused. No, instead, he pushed past you and entered his room. After digging around in there, he came back out with a white dress shirt and a belt. Before you could even argue, he threw the shirt on over your head, waited for your arms to enter the baggy sleeves, and tightened the belt around your waist.
"Breasts or none, it's important that you remain modest."
Though you wanted to be angry at him for clothing you, looking down at the baggy shirt and belt, you wound up smiling instead. "I look like a pirate!" Your dad chuckled softly and pulled you in close. Your quirks were deactivated, including the one that gave you the sweet sixpack. Now, you frowned.
The big man rubbed your back in slow circles. His words finally broke the awkward silence. "I never cared that you were a boy or girl; just that you were mine... Tell Chisaki to return your body to how it was before, before I do." Oh yeah Dad can do that, can't he? You nodded. "I assume you have a reason for this?"
"Just a, um, experiment I guess."
"Hm. In that case, I have no need to get involved."
"Yeah.. don't worry. I'm fine...
I'm fine."
---------------
It was a fairly fun night. Definitely one of the biggest "bro moments" you'd ever seen! The other lady fighters either didn't show up, wrapped their breasts up tight in wrap that matched their skin, or went all in and wore nothing up top like the boys! You were glad to have this fourth option at your disposal.
And while you had your fun getting into character, rialing up the crowd, showing off, and honing your skills.. your mind was elsewhere at the same time.
It was everywhere, really. Thinking about your life as a whole. Because when you first came to this world, well, you had a completely different view of what being in power might look like. You had had no real expectations other than that you'd grow stronger with every quirk you collected... But, it was so much more than that.
Power wasn't just what you held in your hands, or what you could do with your fists. In fact, it was your mouth that brought you more power than even your quirk itself! Having these quirks definitely helped, but..
You were now standing only a rank below Kai Chisaki, who was in line to become the head of a now rapidly growing Shie Hassaikai. Not to mention the Yakuza that had created a one-of-a-kind market for a drug that could literally remove quirks!
You were the daughter of a man who was literally referred to as the Boogyman of the underworld. He knew more people and had more influence behind the scenes than you could even comprehend. All that power at your disposal to some extent! As all it would take was to make a request, and the shadows would move for you.
You were, more recently, the head to a branch of a worldwide organization. With their nationwide influence, there was no telling what political influence you might possess if and when you gained good graces with the other leaders. Who knows? You might even be able to shake nations?
Though this underground fighting ring wasn't nearly as impressive as any of those, you still had amassed a loyal following willing to get violent for you if it came down to it. Word of your power and might was slowly spreading throughout the underworld as you kicked a## and made money doing it!
The hero side of things, strangely enough, was your weakest point of control. To the majority of them, you were nothing but a nuisance. A powerful prodigy, sure, but that didn't translate well with the added info about your heritage. Winning them to your side was already proving difficult. But not impossible. You already had a few heroic allies in your classmates, Aizawa (mostly), and Hawks. Even Izuku and Katsuki in a way, though they wouldn't make an appearance on the heroic stage until a while later.
Now that you thought about it, it was like... It was almost like you were only a few steps away from being able to conquer the world. Not that you had any interest to, but it was still exciting to ponder! To think that all you had to do was flex your political power just a little harder. Go just a little further.
It was almost frightening how close you were. Heh. Pretty cool.
You started to wonder just how far you could take this. Out of curiosity.. could you one day rule the world?
---------------
This was perhaps the best thing to ever happen to you regarding power. You stayed in contact with Humarise, updating them and even sending small shipments of the quirk removal drug over to them for closer inspection. You just remembered to remind these guys of your own useful ability.
After a month of staying in close contact, you were at last invited to the central base of operation -- the head of the first and main sector -- in order to have this ability of yours put to the test.
Your lie with these guys was that you could only steal quirks. Like a quirk neutralizer. This would undoubtedly reduce suspicion. You had a different name worldwide to these people as well. Yet another face to play the part for. "Loving Daughter," in reference to your heritage.
It had been more than a year since you rode on a plane. Your first time flying internationally. Your trip was fairly simple. You wore the most casual of clothes and didn't talk to one person but the teal haired archer assigned to guide you through the complicated circuitry of airports and flights. She was helpful, but blunt, and she never said any more than she needed to... Fine enough. You had your phone and the internet to entertain you in the meantime.
Once you arrived at this remote, far northern headquarters of the main branch, you settled into a far more serious tone.
You dressed in the fine kimono Ms. Yamashi had given you. It was so fine and elegant, there was no questioning you were a person of importance while wearing it. It was as though your whole person started to shine while it was on. Once you put it on and entered the right mindset, there was something ethereal about the way you stood, walked, and talked. You wore a black veil that covered your eyes from all sides. And you carried yourself with such well practiced grace.
You followed a few members down the long, grand hallways of this facility. The base itself was carved into the side of a cliff. Both its interesting decor and militaristic setup gave the whole building an aura of some kind of cathedral prepping for war. A mix of church and bunker.
Two large doors opened up, revealing an even larger, circular room. The walls were all lined with books, a ring of balconies all around where many figures in robes stood. In the very center of the room was a statue of a glowing child. Almost Christlike in its depiction. Across the room, standing on a tall, intimidating stage, was the leader of this branch. Flect Turn, or Furekuto.
You entered the room and bowed politely. "It is an honor to be invited here and make your acquaintance so early."
"Please. Rise." He commanded. You stood straight, hands holding each other within your long sleeves. You stared up at the blue skinned leader expectedly. "You said your quirk allows you to nullify other quirks. Please. Would you care to demonstrate?"
"On whom?"
"I like your enthusiasm~" What enthusiasm? "I have standing around the room many who would like to free themselves of their curses. So please, choose whoever might be the easiest." So... They were just going to let you choose? Ground level with you, circling around the rim of the room were the people he was referring to. They didn't exactly wear robes as elaborate as the ones upstairs, but their garb certainly were uniform and fitting with the general theme. Your eyes scanned around from person to person. All these people were trying their best not to stare, but couldn't help but glance your way on occasion. Finally, you pointed up at Flect himself.
"Do you not want to live freely without your quirk?" That question caught the whole room off guard. After all, it was very bold of you to single out their leader like that. But, though you didn't remember much from the third movie, you did know why he hated his quirk so badly. Why he hated his life so terribly.
As you knew all too well, bonds are a powerful thing. You have been lucky in this life.. to find yourself with so many friends, despite your circumstance. To have people who cared for and wanted to be around you. To have people around who felt comfortable in your presence, and could simply exist in the same space even if it wasn't to do anything important. But, this guy... He didn't have any of that. And for that reason, he had your sympathy. After all, you probably would have lost your mind years ago if it hadn't been for a few necessary companions.
Flect was put under a rather uncomfortable spotlight. The allure of losing this quirk for good, mixed with basic common sense telling him he needed it for his plans to work. But then wait! A moral dilemma, since deciding to keep his quirk would be equal to admitting the ideology of this organization was but one big sham! How could he expect to argue his need for a quirk while actively trying to tear everyone else's down? Indeed, he was stuck here.
He was, at the very least, able to find himself some extra time before the big decision. "..How about we test your abilities on one of the volunteers first? After all, it wouldn't be fair to free myself before my loyal followers." You bit the inside of your cheek. D###it. That guy's quirk is really strong, though! You're so close to getting it, yet so far!
You remained calm and bowed once more. "A great idea." Leaving your spot, you walked before the line of people, listening as they held their breaths and straightened their backs when you neared. You only had to pass about three or four before stopping at a young hooded man with four arms. You pointed him out. "This would make for a quick and easy visual representation of my power." You then urged the young man to follow you back closer to the center of the room. He followed excitedly. Once standing at the center of the room before the baby statue, you stood face-to-face with the man. "It is customary to state the name of your quirk and what it is before we proceed."
"O-oh! Um, right! It's called Four Arms! It.. gives me four arms?" No other side affects or hidden features? Sounds good to you.
"Alright then. Now, try to relax." You placed your thinly gloved hand on the man's head, gripping it between your fingers as the energy from his quirk flowed into you. There were gasps of amazement as the man's arms started to disappear. Until, finally, the second pair of arms under the first were completely gone.
The young man gasped while flailing his two normal arms around. "It worked!!!" He threw off the concealing coats to prove it. "They're really gone!!" Cheers and applause followed shortly. Whistles and hollars of joy. The young man picked up his coats, bowed to you while wearing the biggest grin on his face, and ran back to his place in line, where he hugged someone standing next to him. You smiled timidly at the exciting display of emotion. Though Flect was clearly tempted to be next, he made it clear that you had a long line of people to go through before laying hands on his quirk.
Hhhhh. Alright.
You couldn't really explain why exactly it was a requirement to know the name and character of a Quirk before nullifying it. For all they knew, that was just how your quirk functioned. You had your own little "Quirk Death Note," which one of your assistants wrote in to help keep track of all the quirks you had "cured" that day. Hopefully, keeping these notes on you would help you sort them better instead of just throwing them into the Amalgamation. That thing does not need to grow any bigger!
By the end of your first visit, you had gone all around the room taking from the free buffet of quirks. Most of these quirks ranged from useless to downright annoying! But, you'd make sure to experiment with each one first before throwing any into that Big Daddy Amalgamation of yours! Among the trash were the treasures. Small quirks that aren't much help on their own, but would really help when combined with others! The four arms, for example.
When the room was emptied of volunteers, Mr. Flect was the one you hoped would be next... But, as much as he wanted to give it a try, he reasoned it out that stealing his quirk would be impossible, even if he wanted it gone. Without even trying, he gave up. He gave up and was left to ponder why he wanted to keep his quirk the moment the chance to rid it actually arose. It was something he never once thought he'd have to consider before.. Guess he just needed a little extra time. You were fine with that. After all, you'd taken your allyship in strides today. There wasn't a soul in this place that questioned your legitimacy.
So.. the next day, you left knowing you had done well. After all, not everything has to be done in one day. You had plenty to celebrate right here and now.
---------------
. . .
Oh my... It actually F-ing worked.
IT ACTUALLY WORKED!
---------------
"Haaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwks!" You yelled this time as you torpedoed the flying hero's way. He evaded just in time, laughing as you nearly crashed into the ground. You were in a park this time. You caught onto and stood on a few tough branches. The hero fluttered down nearer to your level.
"Heyy, you got your breasts back!. Wait that sounds weird. Haha! Look at the stupid things you make me say!" He laughed at his own awkward hiccup. You joined in.
Interrupting your own laughter, "Check this out!!" You unfolded your wings, all four of them spreading out in a bright and flashy display.
Hawks gasped and dropped down to your level. He grabbed at one of the newer wings to ensure it was real. "No way!! How did you-!?.. How did you do this!?"
"Someone gave me their four arms quirk." Keigo rose a brow at you. "I'm serious! He didn't want it!!"
"Fine, I'll believe it."
"So anyways! It took me a couple hours straight of mixing and dividing that quirk with Fierce Wings before I was able to get this result, so now I've solidified the change for good! Four wings, baby! Double the feathers and the cool!"
"Tss." Hawks wound up just petting one of your new wings, wishing he could duplicate his too without collecting suspicion. "Was it hard to relearn how to fly with them?"
"Oh! Absolutely!" You laughed. The hero's mind was elsewhere now as he stood there petting your wing. You tugged it free, which pulled him back to the present.
"Oh. Sorry. Didn't realize I.. was..."
"What's wrong, man?"
"Nothing, really.. Guess I just think it's a little unfair."
You tilted your head. "The four wings? If you really want, I can--" wait no! Do NOT admit you know where that Doctor is! Especially when it can lead to the heroes finding out it was YOU who broke him out!
"No, no.. It's not that. Besides, suddenly growing two wings would be really suspicious for me. I'm fine with these two."
"Mm, makes sense... What's unfair, then?"
The teen dropped his shoulders and sighed. "As I think about it, I realize it isn't even true... We both are pretty privileged in that area. We grew up with so many resources made available to us. You with quirks, me with specialized training. The more I think about it though... Eheheh, guess we're both in little cages made by the same people who gave us these privileges in the first place." He faked a smile and a laugh... There it was again. That actor in him so ready to smile through everything.
"Hm... What do you mean?"
"It's nothing."
"The HPSC is making you do morally questionable things behind the scenes, isn't it..? And you have no choice but to listen, and pretend that it isn't getting to you." The hero's body language told you everything you needed to know. He watched you warily through the corner of his eyes, fluttering his wings again to keep himself alift. He could see it in your eyes that you somehow knew the truth. That you somehow weren't just making stuff up and watching for a reaction.
"...How do you know that?"
"You just said our positions were so similar, right?" Your empathetic eyes bore so deeply into his soul it chilled him. To think he was, right here, in the presence of someone who knew exactly what he was going through and how he felt based on nothing but their own lived experiences... You flapped your own wings, lifting off of the branches by a few inches. "Well I'm in the same boat, pal. The one where us hero wannabees have to make certain sacrifices for our dreams.." Hawks flew a tad higher too so he wouldn't be made the shorter one again. "Where.. in a way, we're kind of controlled by the same group that made it all possible. Like, we're just trying to survive and pay our debts...all which hinge on one body of government... Eheh, am I even making any sense??" You slapped your own forehead, feeling a little airheaded now that you couldn't find the right words.
"No.. I know exactly what you mean." The wall of smiles had broken down. Now, he just stared at you with a deep, sincere understanding. He turned to look up at the bright blue sky. After a moment of pondering silence between you two, he smiled. "Thanks for stopping by. I..better get back to work."
"Oh! Yeah, of course! Have fun!" You waved to each other as the hero flew off. You took to the skies again, then turned invisible once among the clouds. A strangely calm feeling followed.
Believe it or not, Hawks was.. actually getting pretty close to a friend.
