At this moment, Chen Xin had fully merged his soul rings and essence into the massive Seven Kill Sword.

"Interesting—a desperate strike that channels everything you have into one attack," Ye Wen remarked with admiration.

Such a move would leave even Tang Hao dead if he tried to face it head-on. Even a Super Douluo at level 97 might suffer grave injuries or perish under this strike.

A ferocious sword qi shot down from the heavens toward Ye Wen, as if intent on obliterating everything in its path.

Unfortunately—

No battle could escape the importance of intelligence.

Ye Wen didn't even bother using a soul skill. Instead, he opened a massive spatial gate, and Chen Xin plunged straight into it.

Physical laws rendered ineffective—

Chen Xin, who had poured his entire being into this attack, was momentarily stunned.

Though he knew spatial-type abilities were notoriously unpredictable—like Bone Douluo Gu Rong, a mere defensive-type soul master hailed as the most enigmatic Title Douluo—this realization did little to comfort him.

The sword qi soared into the sky, scattering into countless fragments resembling stars, creating an awe-inspiring sight.

Chen Xin descended dejectedly before Ye Wen, his eyes filled with exhaustion and despair.

Ye Wen smiled gently and asked, "How does it feel to throw everything you've got at me?"

This voice, akin to that of an old friend, stirred Chen Xin's spirit. There was no trace of mockery in Ye Wen's words—only hints of something deeper.

Sword Douluo Chen Xin seemed to enter a state of enlightenment, reflecting on the sensations of that earlier strike.

"Do you remember how your father risked life and limb in pursuit of the sword's ultimate truth?" Ye Wen pressed on.

In that instant, Chen Xin felt as though a veil had been lifted. The barriers that had clouded his cultivation for years shattered.

A surge of overwhelming energy erupted, reducing the surrounding trees to splinters. Yet Ye Wen stood unscathed, watching with satisfaction from just a short distance away.

Chen Xin stared incredulously at his hands.

"I've broken through?"

For years, Chen Xin had been stuck at level 96, unable to advance. Now, under Ye Wen's guidance, he had finally broken through to level 97.

Though his heart raced with excitement, Chen Xin didn't forget Ye Wen's presence. Bowing deeply, he expressed his gratitude.

"Thank you, Senior, for your guidance."

"You've tested me with your best attack—you should now know whether I've truly ascended to godhood. You also know that the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect has no right to refuse me.

Take this message back to Ning Fengzhi: if he doesn't want his sect to be annihilated, he must come see me within three days. After that, it'll be too late.

As for Little Ning Rongrong, don't worry—I'll stay here for the next few days."

With that, Chen Xin felt a blur before his eyes and found himself once again outside Shrek Academy.

Without delay, he rushed back to the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect at full speed.

Though Shrek Academy in the Barak Kingdom was far from the sect in the Heavenly Fighting Empire, Sword Douluo Chen Xin's incredible speed allowed him to return in less than half a day.

Ning Fengzhi, who was busy reviewing documents, looked up in surprise at Chen Xin's sudden return.

"Sword Uncle, what's wrong?"

According to the plan, Sword Douluo Chen Xin and Bone Douluo Gu Rong were supposed to take turns secretly protecting Ning Rongrong for six months each.

It had only been a month since they left. Could something have happened to Rongrong?

Ning Fengzhi's heart tightened. If he was the revival leader of the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect, then Ning Rongrong was its future hope—she absolutely couldn't be in danger.

Chen Xin's expression was grave as he said, "There's no time to explain, Fengzhi. Quickly arrange the sect's affairs—I need to take you somewhere."

Seeing that Ning Rongrong was safe, Ning Fengzhi felt somewhat relieved.

But this situation clearly wasn't trivial. Leaving Bone Douluo Gu Rong in charge, Ning Fengzhi trustedfully followed Chen Xin to Shrek Academy.

Along the way, Chen Xin recounted Ye Wen's story.

As a master of intelligence analysis, Ning Fengzhi immediately had Chen Xin simulate Ye Wen's appearance.

It was impossible for a god-level powerhouse to emerge unnoticed on the Douluo Continent—he must have been a legendary figure from the past.

But when Ning Fengzhi realized this god-level powerhouse was none other than Ye Wen, he was incredulous.

Connecting various pieces of intelligence in his mind—the 98-level Super Douluo Tianxing Douluo who once appeared at Tianxing Academy, his bizarre soul ring configuration, and ancient rumors—it all pointed to one conclusion.

Though Ning Fengzhi found it hard to believe that Ye Wen, barely forty years old, had become the Sea God, the evidence was undeniable.

Soon, Ning Fengzhi began to feel fortunate.

The emergence of a god-level powerhouse would inevitably reshape the power dynamics of the Douluo Continent. For the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect to gain such a strong ally was a stroke of luck—they wouldn't be wiped out outright.

From the start, Ye Wen hadn't hidden his identity; it was just that Sword Douluo Chen Xin happened to be someone out of touch with information.

Ning Fengzhi, adept at navigating human relations, quickly pledged loyalty to Ye Wen.

Ye Wen had never intended to destroy the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect—a wealthy sect with a martial soul capable of significantly boosting Battle Armor strength. Incorporating them directly was the best outcome.

Since they were now allies, Ye Wen didn't hold back. He handed Ning Fengzhi a vial containing the essence of the Kirin Yujinxiang flower, giving the Soul Sage who had been stuck at level 79 for years a chance to break through.

Ning Fengzhi, impressed by his new benefactor's generosity, felt a deep kinship. As a seasoned strategist, he immediately consumed the essence to demonstrate his loyalty.

Looking at the shimmering nine-colored Glazed Pagoda in his hand, Ning Fengzhi's eyes watered. For so many years, the sect's long-held dream had finally been fulfilled under his leadership.

"Fengzhi, in the coming years, ensure no civilians starve while stockpiling food and raw materials as much as possible.

Once my other forces rise up, they'll need these resources. Don't disappoint me."

Meeting Ye Wen's meaningful gaze, Ning Fengzhi immediately assured him that there would be no issues.

Privately, Ning Fengzhi rejoiced. Acquiring resources through wealth was the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect's forte.

He understood the principle: "Before troops move, provisions must go first." This was a golden opportunity—low risk, high reward. Success would secure the sect's future status.

As the sect leader, Ning Fengzhi couldn't disappear for long. Ye Wen gave Sword Douluo time to escort Ning Fengzhi back before returning to guard their precious treasure.

However, in Ning Fengzhi's current eyes, the Eight Treasures Glazed Pagoda no longer held the same significance.

He even harbored greater ambitions. If he could assist this Sea God Ye Wen, could he too ascend to godhood in the future?

Of course, these thoughts remained buried deep in his heart—he was, after all, a master of maintaining appearances ("Old Schemer").
