---------------------------------------------------------------------
The gathered Title Douluos, witnessing this divine miracle, all knelt on both knees and began chanting prayers fervently.
At this moment, Ye Wen opened his eyes. His body had reached the limit of its ability to absorb soul ring years, and the divine-bestowed soul ring had finally stabilized.
The ninth soul ring transformed into a golden wheel, hovering behind his head, perfectly aligning with the rising sun in the distance.
This sacred posture further solidified the Title Douluos' resolve to support Ye Wen wholeheartedly.
Subsequently, the previously hidden eight soul rings appeared around Ye Wen's body, encircling the million-year divine ring, creating a dazzling interplay of colors.
Yellow – Purple – Purple – Purple – Black – Black – Red:Two Gold Stripes – Red:Six-Gold Stripes – Gold-Blue!!!
No one could have imagined that the Sea God's heir would be so extraordinary—already hunting a 200,000-year ferocious beast as his seventh soul ring while still at the Soul Sage level.
"Glory to the future Sea God."
"With the Divine Child here, Sea God Island will surely shine with boundless glory."
"Praise the Sea God."
"This child is terrifying! Even Tang Chen and Qian Daoliu pale in comparison."
Everyone present was utterly awed by Ye Wen's overwhelming power. Any lingering doubts or resentment toward this mainland soul master who had suddenly become the Sea God's heir were completely dispelled.
"My name is Ye Wen, a 93rd-level powerhouse-type Title Douluo. My title is *Tian Xing*. It's an honor to meet you all."
Ye Wen did not let the sudden surge of immense power inflate his ego. After adjusting to his new state, he introduced himself to the gathered Title Douluos.
After all, once he ascended to godhood, these Title Douluos would form the foundation of his faith—it was crucial not to alienate them.
In the original story, Tang San never worried about faith issues because of the influence of Shrek's Seven Monsters and the millennia-old legacy of Shrek Academy. Thus, under his tacit approval, Sea God Island eventually faded into obscurity.
Similarly, the second divine position—the City of Slaughter—was also erased by Tang San himself. Without the existence of Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect, where would Tang San's faith have come from?
As for ungrateful acts like "killing the donkey after it's done grinding" or "eating from the bowl while cursing the one who served it," Ye Wen simply couldn't bring himself to do such things.
This attitude earned him the favor of the Title Douluos present. In their hearts, they thought, This Sea God heir truly is a gentleman.
Under Bo Saixi's arrangements, Ye Wen took residence in the Sea God Palace, where Bo Saixi herself lived.
A single man and woman sharing the same space might raise eyebrows, but given that Bo Saixi could easily be Ye Wen's grandmother—and her appearance didn't exactly inspire such thoughts—there was no awkwardness.
As for Bo Saixi's relationship with Tang Chen, Ye Wen found it somewhat perplexing. Perhaps it was due to the lack of detailed descriptions in the original story, whether in novels or manga.
After all, Bo Saixi had already been a Limit Douluo when she first met Qian Daoliu and Tang Chen.
Even if she wasn't over a hundred years old, she must have been at least in her fifties. Romantic notions were out of the question—she had long passed the springtime of youth.
More likely, it was mutual attraction between two powerful individuals.
Her disdain for Qian Daoliu might stem from the fact that he, like her, was also a high priest of a god.
Her admiration for Tang Chen, however, likely stemmed from his status as an unparalleled genius who had cultivated himself to the 99th level.
Was it a case of "milady admiring talent"?
Unfathomable, unfathomable.
But if Ye Wen could fully bring Bo Saixi to his side, he wouldn't mind reviving her after completing the ninth divine trial.
The divine-bestowed soul ring was indeed convenient, and the soul skill it provided was undeniably powerful.
But even with a million-year soul ring, why was there still only one soul skill? Ye Wen wanted to experience being a "Huo Gua" (a reference to a Huo Yuhao).
"Ninth Soul Skill: Earth-Shattering Heavenly Star!
An unstoppable control-type soul skill that forcibly twists space and gravity to seal the enemy.
The twisted spatial point cannot be attacked—it's an absolute locking skill.
In the instant this move is unleashed, life within ten miles is extinguished.
Friend and foe alike are indiscriminately pulled into a massive stone sphere suspended in the air, entirely under my control."
The name was something Ye Wen came up with himself. Since the move closely resembled the Earth-Shattering Heavenly Star from Naruto, and he was terrible at naming things, he decided to settle for it.
{T/N: Chibaku Tensei}
However, compared to the Naruto version, this Douluo version lacked the weakness of the gravity core being vulnerable to attacks.
Ye Wen even entertained the thought: If Tang San ever goes rogue, should I pull this move on him?
"Tang San! You're too powerful—I'll seal you right here!"
Tang San?!
"Don't come any closer!"
Thinking about it, it seemed quite amusing.
For someone like Ye Wen now, Tang San was no longer a concern.
After briefly adjusting to his new condition, it was time to complete the remaining trials.
With his current strength, these challenges would be easy as long as he applied himself slightly.
Looking at the so-called Circular Sea, Ye Wen sneered.
So what if he couldn't use soul skills or rely on a Title Douluo's innate flight ability?
"Six Styles: Moon Step!"
Meanwhile, deep within the Circular Sea, the Great White Shark spirit beast Xiaobai, having received the Sea God's divine decree, had been waiting for some time. Knowing Ye Wen's strength, she decided to do everything in her power to obstruct him.
But wait—wasn't he forbidden from using a Title Douluo's flight ability? Why was he still flying?
Poking her shark-like head out of the water, Xiaobai's expression turned dumbfounded.
Though her face was naturally fierce, at this moment, she looked surprisingly adorable.

However, Xiaobai quickly realized how Ye Wen was doing it. By unleashing powerful bursts of soul power from his feet, he achieved brief mid-air movement, which technically didn't violate the trial's restrictions.
But why was he flying so fast?! Her task hadn't even begun yet!
Xiaobai hurriedly tried to chase after him, only to realize in despair that he was far too swift.
By the time she was still hundreds of meters away, Ye Wen had already crossed the Circular Sea.
"You! You! You!!!"
Transforming into her humanoid form upon reaching the shore, Xiaobai—a flat-chested loli with a hint of cuteness—glared at Ye Wen with a mix of anger and grievance, finally collapsing in defeat with an OTZ pose.
{T/N: I have no idea what an OTZ pose is}
"You bad person! That was so unfair! I didn't even get to carry out the mission the Sea God gave me! Waaah~"
Seeing the teary-eyed loli, Ye Wen felt a twinge of guilt.
But it wasn't his fault! If she had acted just a moment faster, maybe she could have stopped him. He was helpless too—he had actually hoped for some resistance.
Gently patting Xiaobai's soft, flowing hair, Ye Wen said kindly,
"I'll make sure to let you stop me next time."
To avoid getting caught up in any more drama, Ye Wen decided it was best to leave quickly.
Xiaobai froze for a moment, thinking to herself.
'That head pat earlier actually felt pretty nice…' But then she remembered Ye Wen's cheat-like method of passing the trial and grew indignant. 'Next time, I'll definitely make him pay!'
"The second trial of the Sea God's nine trials—crossing the Circular Sea—complete.
Reward: 5% increase in Sea God affinity and an additional 10,000 years added to all soul ring durations."
The voice echoed in Ye Wen's mind, bringing a smile to his face. 'No wonder Poseidon is called the Old Sea King—he's truly wealthy. Other gods can't compare; he's so generous!'
