"Apologize?

If apologies were enough, what meaning would imperial laws have?

If apologies were enough, what purpose would my lifelong cultivation of power serve?

Do you think I've cultivated to this level just for fun?

It's so that people like you—idiots who rely on brute force—would try to reason with me, only for me to crush your heads with absolute violence.

Let me make it clear! You who trample the weak with violence will one day tremble in fear because of your own weakness!

Though it may seem unfair to bully the weak, I'll give you time to prepare. I'll count to ten, and then I'll attack.

One."

At this moment, cold sweat poured down the Tang brothers' faces. Only by directly facing such a terrifying aura of soul power could they truly comprehend how fearsome this old man was.

Bullying the weak had been ingrained in these two brothers since childhood. Faced with an absolute powerhouse, they had no intention of resisting.

But with no other choice, the two brothers shouted in unison:

"Elder, forgive us!

Hao Tian Nine Extremes·Void·Seal·Pierce·Penetrate·Entangle·Quake·Break·Stop·Collapse——!!!!!!!!!!!"

The Hao Tian Sect's teachings were clear: once an enemy was confirmed, there could be no hesitation—otherwise, death might come for them instead.

The two brothers held nothing back, pushing their physical and soul power to the absolute limit, unleashing everything they had at Ye Wen from the very start.

"Inner Void—"

In the instant they swung their first hammer, the brothers already knew they stood no chance.

The Hao Tian Nine Extremes, nine consecutive strikes, failed to even graze the elder's robes. Their attacks passed through him as if he were intangible, wasting immense amounts of stamina and soul power without any effect.

"The Hao Tian Nine Extremes, eh? How nostalgic. When that old ghost created this technique, it shocked all the soul masters of the time.

It truly placed the Hao Tian Sect at the pinnacle of all sects. But alas, you two only mimic its form, lacking its essence. Your cultivation will reach its limit at best—far from matching the awe-inspiring battle prowess of Tang Chen, that old ghost. All you've got are empty moves."

Ye Wen, appearing as an enigmatic elder, calmly critiqued their performance.

Seeing this, the Tang brothers grew even more fearful. This man was undoubtedly a soul master of the same generation as their grandfather. Combined with his extraordinary soul ring configuration, it was clear that aside from the Limit Douluos like their grandfather, no one could possibly match him now.

"Keep going. I'll continue counting. I said I'd attack at ten, and I'll do just that. Don't disappoint me, you two."

The brothers cursed inwardly. What was the point of fighting? Every strike missed, serving only to drain their strength and soul power, utterly useless.

Meanwhile, at the outskirts of the battlefield, many soul masters began to gather. None were particularly strong—most were at most Soul Emperors. After all, the Tianxing Academy wasn't located in some remote wilderness but at the intersection of two empires, near two major cities.

"Goodness me, the ground has sunk several meters! It wasn't like this before. What level of powerhouse is fighting here?"

"Frightening indeed. How did the Tianxing Academy manage to offend such a mighty figure?"

"Look, the center of the battlefield is over there! My goodness! It's a Title Douluo—six black rings, three red ones. What kind of absurd soul ring configuration is that?

Wait… those two are the Twin Stars of Hao Tian!!!"

The spectators were all seasoned veterans confident in their abilities. Even if they couldn't gain anything, their skills in escaping danger were top-notch. Moreover, they were well-versed in the notable figures of the continent. The distinctive hexagonal star-patterned hammers wielded by the brothers made them impossible to miss, further confirming Ye Wen's identity as a Title Douluo.

It was the soul ring configuration that left everyone incredulous.

Time ticked by, and Ye Wen calmly finished counting to ten. Inwardly, he was thoroughly disappointed in the Tang brothers.

Where was their boldness in defying the Pope? Fight when they could, cower when they couldn't—hypocrisy at its finest.

"The Hao Tian Sect has truly declined. Trash like you two are called the Twin Stars of Hao Tian? Reaching level 97 is the peak of your cultivation.

Compared to Tang Chen, you're not even worth mentioning."

Though his voice wasn't loud, it carried far. The onlookers exchanged strange glances. Though the Twin Stars of Hao Tian weren't yet among the continent's top-tier powerhouses, they were still considered the pinnacle of the younger generation.

To hear them degraded to this extent was shocking. Yet, level 97 was still a realm unattainable for 99.999% of soul masters. To belittle level 97 so casually—could this elder truly be a legendary 99-level Limit Douluo?

At this thought, the crowd grew excited. In an era where Titles rarely appeared on the Douluo Continent, it had been a long time since anyone had seen the face of a Title Douluo.

"I am a 98-level Title Douluo, titled 'Tian Xing.' Ye Wen is my final disciple. Today, you dared to act recklessly in this academy, tarnishing my disciple's name. I will settle this matter today. Prepare yourselves—I'm about to strike."

"Your Excellency—" Tang Xiao tried to use words to make Ye Wen hesitate.

But with the situation having escalated this far, how could Ye Wen possibly stop?

"Don't die~," Ye Wen said nonchalantly.

In the blink of an eye, he suddenly appeared before the two brothers.

"What speed is this!?" the brothers exclaimed in shock.

But Ye Wen paid them no mind. With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed his sixth soul skill: Spatial Oscillation, sending it crashing toward the brothers.

The air tore apart in an instant, forming patterns resembling shattered glass.

The brothers tried to retreat, but a powerful force pinned them in place. A massive shockwave blasted them over a thousand meters away.

Some of the onlookers weren't spared either, swept away like debris in a Category 10 typhoon, flying hundreds of meters.

"Such terror! Is this the destructive power of a 98-level Title Douluo?"

Those who survived couldn't help but think this way. Just one move—it was like a natural disaster.

"The descendants of that old ghost Tang Chen are truly worthless. They can't even withstand one of my attacks. Don't die on my turf—it'd bring bad luck!" Ye Wen sneered.

At this moment, the Tang brothers' bodies were a mess. Their bones were fractured in varying degrees, their muscles torn, and their blood-soaked appearances sent shivers down the spines of the onlookers.

These two were supposed to be the pride of one of the continent's top forces—the Hao Tian Sect.

Would the Hao Tian Sect, unable to bear the loss of face, declare war? But it seemed this 98-level elder wasn't afraid either. If they dared to come, who would emerge victorious remained uncertain.

At this moment, Ye Wen turned his gaze to a burly man in the crowd and pointed at him.

"Boy, you're from the Hao Tian Sect, aren't you? Take these two pieces of trash back. If your Hao Tian Sect wants to fight, then come. I won't hesitate to annihilate your entire sect.

Also, pass a message to your sect leader: Tang Chen and I share some history. I don't wish to exterminate your sect entirely. Now that Tang Chen is gone, stay low-key. There are those on this continent capable of wiping out the Hao Tian Sect—don't be foolish."

The burly man shuddered and hurriedly ran over, kneeling before Ye Wen.

On the Douluo Continent, strength commanded respect. Kneeling before a Title Douluo was no disgrace.

"Yes, Your Excellency. But my two young masters are gravely injured. I humbly beg you, Elder, to grant us healing medicine for them. The Hao Tian Sect will be eternally grateful."
