Chapter 120 - Priorities

Silas had ambled the hallways per his usual, hoping it'd render the fog in his mind a tad more limpid. 

It wasn't until the sun cast its first hues on the eastern sky that he decided doing some carving would help him better with that.

On the way to his room however, a familiar figure came into view. A person he'd completely neglected to speak and smooth things over with, since their last meeting had gone south very quickly. 

Edna froze at first, but then her widened eyes cooperated with the rest of her features to display a scowl.

"Morning, Master," she curtsied then resumed her walking.

"To you as well," he answered, looking ahead.

Right as the maid had been about to pass him, Silas added, "It is a bit too early for you to be up,"

Halting again and without glancing back at him, Edna retorted, "I was awoken by a howl about an hour ago and couldn't sleep after that," 

"I wanted to address the last time we've spoken to each other,"
