The carved armchair was placed on a circular high platform, with the back towering up to the ceiling.
The blonde man wore a lavishly styled mage robe, emitting a faint purple sheen, embroidered with golden patterns that shimmered in the dim light of the conference room.
He leaned back in the chair, one leg crossed over the other, with his long boots resting on the footstool in front of him. He raised his hand to take a slender wine glass from the nearby shelf and took a sip of red wine.

A faint groan from a woman echoed beside him.
