Bessie rushed back overnight from Switzerland. She had just gotten off the plane and didn't look for Jocelyn, nor did she notify anyone in her family. As soon as she landed, she headed straight to the Leclair estate to settle the score with Delphine.
Everyone in the South Seas knows that Jocelyn is the man she had her eyes on. And yet, that bitch Delphine dared to steal him from her. A hint of malice flashed through Bessie's eyes.
Delphine got hit a few times and her face turned grim. She stepped barefoot onto the floor, pushed Bessie aside, and turned to run out.
Bessie hadn't expected her to fight back. Caught off guard, she fell to the ground and couldn't get up for a moment. Enraged and humiliated, she started crying and screaming, "Delphine, how dare you push me? Ahhhhh—"
Bessie's hysterical screams instantly alarmed everyone at the Leclair estate.
The entire estate descended into chaos.
