The DemiDevimon on the bed suddenly unleashed an ear-splitting shriek.
It felt as though the pink beam had become countless sharp blades, repeatedly tearing through its very being.
But Dark was no longer fooled by such displays.
He watched as the light coalesced at the center of the DemiDevimon's forehead, where the skull pattern dissolved, replaced by a new emblem of sin.
The pink light emanating from [Lust] was completely absorbed by this emblem before erupting outwards, transforming the creature's entire body into a glowing pink entity centered around the mark.
Then, the life structure of this radiant being underwent an incredible and dramatic shift!
It was akin to a tadpole morphing into a toad, or a sea creature evolving into a land creature a fundamental leap in life form, a grand evolutionary step!
"Ah, so this is it!"
Dark realized almost instantly that this was evolution!
The DemiDevimon had actually evolved under the influence of [Lust I]!
For a Digimon, which was fundamentally a data-based life form, [Lust II] was like a data card overflowing with an immense amount of information.
A wave of boundless ecstasy washed over Dark.
He noticed a "+1" notification flicker past his eyes but paid it no mind.
He was utterly captivated by this transformation, genuinely thrilled by the DemiDevimon's evolution!
"What will it become? Devimon? Vilemon? Soulmon?"
The evolutionary possibilities for Digimon were vast.
Especially for a Digimon like this one, its evolutionary branches extended to a multitude of Virus-type Digimon.
Dark's understanding of these branches was only superficial.
But this only heightened his excitement.
Who doesn't love evolution?
Whether it became Devimon, Vilemon, or Soulmon, they were all powerful and cool-looking Champion-level Digimon.
Though their sinister appearances might invite criticism, plenty of mages favored Dark or Demon decks.
No need to worry the goal was peak coolness!
Come forth!
I choose you!
Evil... no, Black Gatomon?
Dark's smile faltered as he watched the black-furred cat still rolling around on the bed, driven by lingering momentum.
Well...
Black Gatomon wasn't so bad, right?
Its sleek, jet-black fur, large cat ears, delicate and beautiful features, petite and adorable body, paw pads with concealed claws, and slender, long tail gave it the appearance of a dark-skinned doll. It was... acceptable!
"Meow!"
Black Gatomon stopped rolling.
Its long eyelashes fluttered slightly as its amber-yellow cat eyes slowly opened.
Like a newborn, it gazed at the world with curiosity.
Then, its focus sharpened visibly, locking onto Dark!
"Meow~! Master, cuddle!"
Black Gatomon's eyes instantly turned into heart shapes, its pink tongue darting out to moisten its supple lips.
The emblem of sin on its forehead pulsed with a pink aura as its emotions surged.
Dark was intensely curious about how the [Lust] emblem differed from the [Pride] emblem.
But with a soft "meow," Black Gatomon pounced, its surprising strength instantly pinning him to the ground!
Seeing the dense, almost suffocating haze of seduction in Black Gatomon's eyes, Dark realized something was wrong!
"Get off!"
Black Gatomon didn't obey.
"By the name of Dark Demon, I command you to rise, my familiar!"
The emblem of sin on Black Gatomon's forehead flickered, seemingly resisting the forced command from the "familiar system."
Instead, it extended its pink tongue and began licking Dark's face, starting at his chin and moving up to his forehead, all while purring contentedly.
"Is this... a loss of control?"
With his face now slick with saliva, Dark wore a complicated expression.
During [Lust I], it hadn't been this obvious.
But with [Lust II], it was clear.
The sin series of magic cards created from the [Lust] of the goddess statue had finally revealed their most significant flaw!
Chaotic evolution, an uncontrollable Digimon.
It reminded Dark of the horror in Digimon Adventure when Tai's Agumon mistakenly evolved into SkullGreymon.
"This ends now!"
Dark finally regained his composure.
In retrospect, evolving into Black Gatomon was incredibly fortunate.
If it had been something like Devimon, he would likely have been torn to shreds by now!
The thought sent a chill down Dark's spine, but his gaze toward Black Gatomon softened.
He flipped over and hugged it, expertly scratching its chin, ears, chest, belly, and forehead.
After all, it was just petting a cat~!
He was already quite experienced at it.
Under Dark's skilled ministrations, the once domineering Black Gatomon became even more docile than an ordinary kitten, completely lost in [Lust].
Dark gave it his all, allowing it to reach a state of sublime ecstasy.
As Black Gatomon finally stopped squirming, Dark quickly jotted down his observations in his notebook.

Its jet-black fur was striking. As a Virus-type Gatomon, it was a thoroughly wicked being, thriving in the eerie darkness.
Black Gatomon possessed a naturally mischievous personality, a strong sense of pride, and a fondness for bullying the weak. It was a troublesome Digimon.
It was essentially a Dark-attribute Digimon on the path to evolving into a Fallen Angel-type Digimon.
Its special skill was the same as Gatomon's [Cat Paw Strike]!

[Cat Paw Strike: Swings its long claws to tear through enemies.]
[Dangerous Love: Uses its dangerous charm to confuse and control its opponents.]
"If this were a magic spirit card, it would be a blue card with two skills, combining an attack and a control skill a powerful combo."
"Dangerous Love sounds a lot like Virt's [Forbidden Love]."
"Next, record the emblem."
Dark quickly sketched the [Lust] emblem of sin.
Unlike the [Pride] emblem, the [Lust] emblem was green.
At the center of the emblem was a strange mark, above which was the astronomical symbol for the moon.
The outer ring of the emblem was inscribed with the English words:
LEVEL-666
SYSTEM: ASMODEUS
CODE: LUST
And below the mark, on the inner ring, it read:
CAUTION! PURGATORY LEVEL 7
After drawing the entire emblem, Dark casually translated it.

Inner Ring:
Warning! Purgatory Level 7
"Lucifer, Asmodeus... I see. These are the names of the Seven Demon Lords of Sin. The Demon Lord of Lust is ranked seventh in Purgatory."
