I woke up from the sound of birds chirping. It's always felt nice to sleep into the woods. I get up and stretched my body, then I hear a low groan from beside me. I saw Sasuke getting up and groaning. He then proceeded into sitting position and scratching the back of his head and the other hand is scratching his back, while his eyes are still close. I stare at him, finding him cute by acting this way while getting up from his slumber... Wait! What? What the hell did I just think?
"You think his cute."
"No way!!"
"Yes, way kit..."
"Shut up!"
"HAHAHAHA"
I block Kurama-nii knowing that he would laugh at me because of this. I look at Sasuke again, opening his eyes. He gets shocked for realizing that his not in Tazuna's house. He didn't realize that he sleeps here in the forest last night.
"What the hell I'm doing here?"
Well, I guess he also didn't realize that I'm here. I sigh thinking how stupid he is for an Uchiha.
"Teme, you sleep in here."
I stated and watched his face look more surprised by seeing me.
"Dobe! What are you doing here?"
'Seriously? Is this guy can be more stupid? Did he hit his head in his sleep or something?' Kurama laughs from what I say.
"You tailed me last night remember? Then you do what I do, which is stargazing. After a couple of hour a found you sleeping already"
I look at him and saw his face getting red from the embarrassment. I smirk seeing him like this.
"I stayed and didn't woke you up because you sleep peacefully and I don't want to ruin your sleep."
I watch him as his face becoming more redder than before. I stand up and readied myself to leave. Sasuke seeing that also stands up and picked the blanket and folds it neatly then handed it back to me. I took it and sealed it back and start to walk to Tazuna's house.
When were at the front door, we both smell the food that Tsunami-san cooked, both of our stomachs growl for how hungry we are. We both didn't have a dinner last night tough.
Sasuke open the door and let me in first. Kakashi is standing in the door way looked surprise when the door opened before he can open it.
"Yo.."
All I said and walk straight pass at him and went over to the table and start eating with sasuke following behind.
"Itadakimas" both me and sasuke said.
"Where were the both of you last night?" Kakashi ask me and Sasuke while eating. I looked at him and smile that stayed for a second in my face. I'm sure Kakashi saw that.
"Morning... Kashi, me and Sasuke sleep in the forest last night though we didn't mean to."
"Hn"
Kakashi nod and proceed to eat. After an hour everyone was done with their morning routine, then Kakashi ask the three of us to go outside to do some training.
We followed Kakashi and walk for a minute. When were far enough to Tazuna's house he stops and face us.
"I need you guys to get some strength, we don't know when Gato's gang will attack, so training you guys now will be a big help, this could help you guys be more precise in your moves."
He walks to a nearby tree and proceeds to tell us what the training will be.
"You guys will do the tree climbing."
"But sensei, we already knew how to do that."
A certain kunoichi said with a -are-you-serious- tone in her.
"Ma... ma... Sakura-Chan, this isn't some normal tree climbing, you guys are going to climb a tree without using your hands."
"But how we're supposed to do that?"
Sasuke aske while I'm staying completely quite because I already knew how to do that.
"You all know Chakra reserve, right?"
Kakashi ask and the two of them nod as an answer.
"This training should help you guys to control your Chakra reserve. This isn't easy especially if you have more amount of chakra reserve than normal to control."
Kakashi then proceed to show us how to do it. He walks up into the tree and stop in one of the branches of said tree.
"To do this, you guys have to focus your chakra into your feet and start walking into the tree just like I did. But you have to find the right amount of chakra you're channeling into your feet."
"Sensei, what will happen if we didn't find the right amount as you say?"
The banshee asks for more details. I stayed quite not wanting to deal with it.
"Well, Sakura to answer that. The higher the amount of chakra you'll focused onto your feet it'll be resulting in breaking or making a dent into the tree when you step into it, while the lower the amount of chakra can be resulting of you will not be able to stick your feet to the tree when you step into it. So, you have to find the right amount you'll be using."
Then he gave us a kunai to mark the progress we make.
"Well! start I'll be over there and watch you guys, the first one who's be able to finish it will be going to the bridge and help there."
By that the two start their training, Sakura goes first and in the first try she'd be able to walk into a branch and giggles as she finds it easy to do.
Kakashi nod as an agreement for her progress then ask her to walk more and make it to the top of the tree. While Sasuke had a look of jealousy in his face seeing Sakura done it in the first try while he can barely keep walking 3ft from the ground. This last for a good four hours of trying. I only watch him though.
He stop and rest for a bit and when he looked at me, he look confused by what I look like.
"Dobe, How come you dont look tired like me?"
"Oh! Now you finally saw me?"
I said mockingly as he grew a thick mark in his forehead. I just chuckled and continue to talk.
"Teme, that is because I already knew how to that so I did nothing."
He looked more confuse and annoyed knowing that he's only the one left that dont know how to do it yet.
"Ow! Dont be mad, teme you can do it"
"Then why are you still here? To watch me suffer? So you can make fun of me?"
He said with pout. Im uterly shocked in how the expression of his face are. He look like a kid that didn't get what he wants.
'Cute...'
"Baka!..."
He get more annoyed by what I called him. I walk up to him and flicked his forehead. I smile at him and give him some water and bread so that he gains more energy.
"Rest for a while and I'll help you."
He does what I said...
After a couple of sometimes he stands up and said he's ready.
"You said you'll help me right?
Show me now!"
He's so fucking energetic and eager to learn it now.
I started at him a bit then I stands up and face him.
"I saw you ask Sakura in how she did it."
He became embarrassed in what I said, but I still continue knowing Uchiha's they don't want to be embarrassed.
"You even try the amount of chakra she's using, how smart of you to think you'll get it right by copying her."
I watch as he became more embarrass as I continue to state the things he did.
"I just did it cause I'm frustrated."
He said while looking down and pouting. Damn that face...
"HAHAHAHAHA Kit dont tell me?"
"SHUT UP"
Then Kurama laughs more. Damn that furball.
"It's a nice trick but you'll won't get it right by using Her's. She does it easier Than you because she has low chakra reserve than you. She doesn't have a vast amount of chakra reserve to control like you. Tough in some more training and working hard she'll get a higher chakra reserve."
I stop and look at him, to find him listening in every word I said like a lost puppy.
"Ehem... while you!"
Clearing my throat and pointing at him.
"You are born to have a vast amount of chakra; you'll get more stronger too by working hard. So, that amount of chakra is hard to control like sensei said earlier."
"Then what will I do?"
"Continue what you're doing—..."
"Wait didn't you said that I won't get it right if I use Sakura's trick?"
Anddd he cut me!... tsk Uchiha's!
"Let me finish teme!"
He then stops talking and pout again...
'Sheess... let me get more of those—— WHOAH STOP RIGHT THERE NARUTO... calm yourself.
I calm myself down and proceed to where I'm cut off earlier.
"As I said, continue in what you're doing and little by little add a small amount of chakra from what you are focusing into your feet. Example, right now you're only using ten percent of chakra then from that add one percent little by little until you find the right amount for you."
He stared at me like he saw some bulb and excitedly nod his head and proceed to his training doing the tips I said. After a couple of hours, Sasuke finally done it. He even walks up to the tallest three here and make it to the top of it.
"I made it Naru..."
I smiled at him leaving the fact of what he called me because he already faints from exhaustion. Before he hit the ground, I caught him and carry him bridal style and walk up to Tazuna's house.
I made it to the house and walks up inside. When Tsunami-san sees us, she asks me of what happen and then help me. I just tell her what happen and ask her to get a bowl of warm water and towel for me.
I place Sasuke in the bed, when Tsunami-san place down the things I ask her, I start cleaning Sasuke and let him rest for the rest of the day.
When I'm done, I move all the things I used in the corner. Then I hear a soft voice.
"Thanks, Naru..."
I looked up at Sasuke and smile at him.
"Welcome teme, sleep get some rest."
I stroke his hair in a gentle manner until he fell into slumber again.
"You're warming up to them kit."
"Is it bad Kura-nii?"
"No! It's not kit."
I didn't reply for what he said. I held a gentle smile in my face and keep creasing Sasuke's hair.
"Kura-nii I'm scared!"
I tell Kurama my worries. I don't want to ruin this possible friendship if ever.
"Kit if you want to make friends, then go for it. Dont be scared, I'm always here to protect you."
As long a I dont want to depend on kurama, my worries are gone by what he said. I know I'll be doomed soon. I just want to make changes in my life it's troublesome but I know it will be worth it.
