The realm of clarity and emptiness offers the potential to create space where your will can shape anything. That is the fundamental component of power use: mental clarity.
Infectants who take on the qualities of another species other than humans are referred to as Muntante (Arthesian language), whilst those who inherit concept-related features are referred to as Awakened.
Muntante's abilities are inherited from a long line of people known as Spirit Tethers who lived during the Bleak era before the drift and shift of the void, but that is a different story. The Awakened were people who were blessed during the resource war when humanity was on the verge of annihilation.
They were once regarded as gifts from the gods, but as time went on, they were viewed as monsters possessing abilities that made humanity envious. To deal with the monstrosity created by the drift of the void/earth, humanity is currently engaging in experimental awakening.

The mist surged and attacked from all directions, forming projectiles such as a black foggy spear and dense mist to visually blind the Muntante.
Jerry used [Nature Perception], which had limited effects when activated, so power spilled from his feet to the earth, causing ripples of waves to come and go. When they arrived, information was mapped in his mind, and when they left, information was gathered.
With this process, Jerry was able to locate the soldier he had stabbed with his blade on their thigh. He ran toward the bodies without [Nature's perception] being activated, using the energy he had saved up for the ability while some of his energy lent to the mist distracting Grizzly.
Jerry pulled the blade out as blood sprayed out from the pull. He then used his arm joint between the shoulder, arm, and hand to clean the dirty blade like a samurai would, in games of course because it seemed cool.
A sudden roar attracted Jerry's attention as he stared at Grizzly, who utilized his enormous roar to push away the mist that was attacking and blinding him. To clear the veil, he roared louder and stronger.
As the mist dissipated, he turned to Jerry and charged with speed, claws, and teeth ready to strike.
'Sometimes I don't like my inner child playing with his food; I really should finish this side quest and return to Carllo city. Okay, let us get serious.'
The blown-away mist retreated and surged toward Jerry as his eyes quickly absorbed the mist; the more the mist is absorbed, the more the marble eyes fade.
Grizzly charged toward Jerry, his teeth aimed at his shoulder.
POW! Jerry's fist made a grinding sound as it struck Grizzly's face, knocking some of his teeth out. Grizzly shouted in anguish as he used his clawed claws to attack, but Jerry used his rapier to parry and administer an assault on the stomach, causing ripples that partially tore and popped the veins in the area.
Grizzly spat blood as his body shrank and reverted to his previous state. With clenched teeth, Grizzly threw a fist at Jerry, who tilted his head and avoided the attack.
He clenches his fist and grinds in virtue as claws emerge, but they vanish as swiftly as they appear. Jerry laughs:
"You Mutantes rely heavily on animalistic strength but lack the internal energy required to transform and channel that power. Strength is the foundation for controlling power; without it, you would be consumed by its corrupting force."
Grizzly stares at his hands, angry, and asks:
"Where is my power what did you do to me?"
Jerry takes a breath and says:
"I only stopped your energy from reaching your brain, so you couldn't shift. Thank you for the warm-up, however, I got bored with Jericho's kids and daughters and their subpar powers. I thought you'd be different."
Grizzly tiredly inquired:
"Guess I disappointed you Nomaic, what would I expect from fighting the__"
Before the sentence could be completed, Jerry administered a kidney shot, causing more ripples in the body as they traveled to Grizzly's lips, causing him to cough blood.
Grizzly dropped to his knees and clutched his mouth to keep the blood from pouring out in large quantities.
Jerry's visage had been replaced by a nasty look.
"You don't learn when the lesson is obvious, never say that name or you will feel the power that killed cultivators, understood?"
Grizzly nodded, Jerry smiled, and said with amusement:
"Chin up soldier, your mission is not done." Jerry motioned with his hands as the mist returned to his eye sockets. Jerry tore a piece of material from his trousers and knotted it around his eye sockets.
He then turns to the weakened Grizzly and asks:
"Where are the creatures of this place?"
Grizzly scoffs, adding:
"As a blind man, you notice a lot. Okay, this section was restricted and housed Jericho's pet. It was a zoo of sorts, and we were the keepers. We begin to labor, gathering food, feeding it, and safeguarding it. But yesterday, huge fatty... that computer pig bastard went with the pet and forced us to clean up, claiming orders from Jericho."
Jerry was silent for an extended time and Grizzly tightened his hand with closed-off resolve. Jerry's ears twitched, and he detected the faint sound. He sighed and remained oblivious:
"What was the creature and where is it?"
Grizzly lets out a dry laugh:
"Where else but the place celebrates the past"
Grizzly stood up with an uppercut, which Jerry avoided by leaning back, resulting in a graze on his chin.
'Does he act like a Muntante without activation? Jericho's brainwashing is unusual. Oh well, let me end it. Jerry sighed, used his cane rapier, and said:
"Calm Mist form 1, silence cut"
Jerry severed the head by slicing it horizontally with his rapier. The head was cut, leaving behind a murky mist that ultimately vanished.
His large mass steadily dropped near Jerry, and he said another move's name within as he gathered energy.
"Silent mist technique 1: Ten slash of the silent blade"
Jerry's hands moved quickly, slicing Grizzly's body into pieces as they hit the ground. Blood soaked the youngster as it rained. He took a deep breath of tiredness and began walking toward the barn, where the lit fire blazed and the smell guided Jerry as he used his cane rapier to avoid colliding with trees and other objects.
