Chapter 4 - Guardian In The Shadow

The next morning, the town and village were shocked by the news of a brutal murder. Newspapers were scattered everywhere, detailing the story of a dangerous new threat and a killing motivated by the rescue of slaves.

The identity of the killer remained unknown, and for now, they referred to him as the

"Guardian in the Shadow."

That morning, Farrel accompanied Maru to hunt animals in the forest. They were searching for meat, such as deer or buffalo.

"Farrel, do you know about the news today? Someone killed the entire family that harassed Yue yesterday," Maru asked.

Farrel pretended not to know anything about what had happened.

"But how did he kill all of them? It's something dangerous if he can wipe out an entire family in one night," Farrel replied, feigning ignorance.

Maru was also puzzled about how a single person could kill a noble family so easily.

"I don't care about them. They're just lucky they were killed by that guy. If they had fallen into my hands, I would have chopped them into twelve pieces and fed them to the dogs," Maru said.

Farrel began to distance himself from Maru.

"Nahhh, I'm joking. You know I can't even kill people. By the way, I appreciate that guy. He helped me," Maru added with a laugh.

Farrel smiled upon hearing Maru's words, and with that, they continued hunting until midday.

After finishing the hunt, the two of them brought back two deer. It was enough to feed 40 people.

They started cutting the meat, and Maru asked Farrel to distribute it to the villagers.

Farrel went around the village, carrying portions of meat to give to the villagers. As he walked, he encountered Lia, who had just returned from shopping.

As usual, he couldn't ignore his illicit feelings for her. Farrel approached Lia and offered to help her.

"Let me help you, Mother."

Lia declined his offer, not wanting to trouble Farrel.

"It's okay, I can carry it myself."

But Farrel couldn't bear to leave her alone. He walked slowly behind her, stealing glances at something pleasurable—her swaying figure.

Lia started warning him to be careful because there was a dangerous killer in town and advised him not to go out at night.

Farrel wasn't really listening; his eyes were fixated on a certain moving part—her ass.

Lia noticed Farrel's silence and caught him staring. Farrel quickly averted his gaze.

"Do you hear what I'm saying, Farrel?"

Farrel nodded, even though he hadn't actually heard a word.

"So, what did I just say?"

Lia leaned closer to Farrel, her face slightly angry as she bent her body forward.

Farrel, becoming even more unfocused, quickly bowed and left her alone, continuing to distribute the meat to the villagers.

After finishing giving the meat to the villagers, he returned to his house to clear his mind for a while.

"I really hate myself."

"That's someone's wife, Farrel. Why do you have to fall in love with her?"

He started talking to himself, frustrated with the feelings he had for Lia. He grabbed his clothes and left the house.

He walked, breathing in the fresh air, heading toward town and arriving at a rather large and luxurious house.

He knocked on the door, and someone suddenly opened it—it was the maid he had saved before.

"Welcome back, Master."

The maid welcomed him home and followed him around. Farrel went to his study room, which had a classic style with books neatly arranged on dark brown teakwood shelves, organized by color.

He sat on a chair at the table and let out a long sigh.

The maid brought him a cup of tea, prepared in advance as a precaution for when her master would stop by the house.

"Is something happening, Master?"

She looked at him curiously, sensing that something might be wrong.

"Nothing, but what is your name again?"

Farrel asked because he felt uncomfortable constantly calling her "maid." He wasn't from a wealthy family. His wealth came from helping people and eliminating the rich.

"Rebecca is my name, Master," she replied.

"Oh, that's a nice name. By the way, I want to ask you something. If someone has feelings for another man's wife, is that person in trouble?"

Rebecca understood what he meant and knew he was talking about himself. She walked over to Farrel and sat on his lap.

"Now, how do you feel, Master?"

Farrel's heart raced, and his masculine instincts began to surface. He couldn't focus because of Rebecca sitting on him. His face turned red.

She smiled, understanding the meaning behind his reaction. Then she stood up and sat on the table, crossing her legs.

"It's just because you're in the process of becoming a man, Master. Your desires as a man are starting to emerge as you reach maturity. It's normal for young boys."

She opened her legs and started showing her panties.

"I can be your first if you want."

Farrel suddenly closed her legs. "Nope, not today."

She laughed. "This is the first time I've felt rejected. It makes me even hornier, and I want to devour you, Master."

Farrel stood up and tried to run away. He felt deeply embarrassed by Rebecca's behavior.

"I've got to go. Just find me near the village full of flowers. I'll be there if something happens in this house."

Rebecca bowed, and the tip of the fluid suddenly began to flow from her bottom.

Farrel noticed that and quickly ran out of the house. He walked to the store and bought some food to eat at home later.

He bought some bread and ate it while walking back to the village. The day was turning to evening, and the sunlight began to set.

The scenery was incredibly beautiful, and Farrel now understood his feelings, suddenly feeling better than usual.

His journey to the village felt happy and chilly.
