Chapter 153 - Nascent Realm

---

With the two elder martial brothers dead and a Soul Formation cultivator leading the Chaos Star Sea, no one dared to raise objections.

Qi Yuan had already sent his will throughout the entire island, and with just a thought, he could activate the island's array.

He stood in mid-air, gazing calmly at the remaining cultivators. His tone was cold but commanding.

"From this day forward, I am the new master of the Chaos Star Sea. If anyone disagrees... you're welcome to challenge me."

No one responded.

Qi Yuan's strength had crushed all opposition.

The remaining cultivators bowed respectfully, acknowledging him as the new master.

With a wave of his hand, Qi Yuan retracted the formation and stepped forward, looking down at the crowd.

"From now on, the Chaos Star Sea will follow a new set of rules. The strong will be rewarded, and those who contribute will be treated well. But if anyone dares to betray me..."

He swept his gaze across the crowd, his killing intent barely restrained.

"You've seen the outcome."

Everyone bowed again, expressing their loyalty.

Qi Yuan didn't say another word. He turned and entered the main hall at the heart of the island.

This was the former residence of the previous Chaos Star Sea master. From today on, it belonged to him.

Qi Yuan sat cross-legged in the center of the hall and slowly closed his eyes.

Outside the hall, the elders began taking action. Some cleaned up the battlefield, some tended to the wounded, and others repaired the damaged formations.

Inside the main hall, an invisible wave of spiritual pressure gradually spread outward.

Qi Yuan was consolidating his cultivation.

He had just entered the Nascent Soul stage, and though he appeared calm on the surface, his inner world was in turmoil.

This breakthrough had come too quickly.

When he fought the second senior brother, he had been burning his lifespan and soul. Normally, this would have led to his death.

But at the final moment, a strand of mysterious energy flowed from his soul, directly pushing him into the Nascent Soul stage.

It was a cultivation technique, one that seemed to be hidden deep within his consciousness.

Ever since he was a child, Qi Yuan had felt a mysterious presence in his mind—silent and unobtrusive, yet always watching.

He had thought it was an illusion. But now, he understood.

It wasn't an illusion. It was a technique—one that only activated in life-and-death situations.

He didn't know the origin of this technique, but it had saved him.

He exhaled slowly, then opened his eyes.

A golden gleam flashed within them.

His cultivation had stabilized.

Qi Yuan stood up and looked around the main hall. The interior was simple and sparse but laced with faint traces of spatial power.

This was a spatial artifact, much like a pocket world.

He extended his hand and activated the core of the space.

With a rumble, the layout of the hall shifted. Stone tables and jade shelves emerged from the floor. Several bookshelves rose up, filled with ancient scrolls and jade slips.

Qi Yuan stepped forward and began browsing.

Most of the items were cultivation manuals and records. Some detailed the history of the Chaos Star Sea, and others contained forbidden techniques.

He skimmed through them quickly, memorizing the key points.

He then turned and walked to a stone platform at the center of the hall.

A small formation was carved into it. Qi Yuan examined it carefully, then activated it.

With a flash of light, the formation projected a three-dimensional map into the air.

It was the entire territory of the Chaos Star Sea.

Qi Yuan studied it silently.

Suddenly, the map shifted. A red dot appeared in the southwest corner, pulsing slightly.

Qi Yuan's eyes narrowed.

That was one of the Chaos Star Sea's outposts—now under attack.

Without hesitation, Qi Yuan left the main hall.

In the air above the island, he gave an order to a nearby elder.

"Send a team to the southwest outpost. I'll go personally."

The elder bowed. "Yes, Master!"

Qi Yuan stepped onto his sword and flew away like a shooting star, disappearing into the horizon.
