Chapter 33 - CH 33

Marineford – Fleet Admiral's Office

The room fell into an eerie silence.

The tension was palpable, as if the very air had frozen.

No one dared to breathe too loudly.

Even Admiral Aokiji, usually laid-back and nonchalant, sat up straight in his chair. However, he avoided looking directly at Fleet Admiral Sengoku, whose face was turning red with fury.

Vice Admiral Tsuru sighed. These young pirates… so reckless.

CRACK!

Sengoku clenched his fist so tightly that the corner of his desk shattered under the pressure. His eyes burned with rage as he growled:

"That damn brat! That damn Bai Yu! Leave Kizaru to investigate—right now, call Garp and the others back!"

The gathered Marine officers looked stunned.

Sengoku took a deep breath, barely containing his anger.

"Notify all Marine forces at Sabaody Archipelago. I want strict surveillance of the coastline and skies. The moment Bai Yu shows up, I want an immediate report."

"Marshal, please calm down!" one of the Vice Admirals pleaded.

Sengoku's sharp gaze swept over the room.

"I'm using the vacation time I've accumulated over the decades. One day of freedom—is that alright with you?" he snapped.

The officers fell silent.

Of course, even the Fleet Admiral was entitled to personal time. If Sengoku decided to use it to pursue Bai Yu, there was little anyone could say to stop him.

Taking another deep breath, Sengoku spoke with cold determination:

"This isn't just anger talking. We must take Bai Yu seriously. I don't want to wake up one day and hear that the world has crowned him as the Fifth Emperor of the seas."

His words sent a chill through the room.

"And another thing—inform the higher-ups. It's time to replace some of the Seven Warlords. Those useless fools!"

Though furious, Sengoku remained a calculating strategist.

Bai Yu was too unpredictable. If an Admiral went after him, he'd just flee—it would be a wasted effort. Instead, they needed to prepare for him at Sabaody.

And Kizaru?

Well, at the very least, he could investigate.

"You think you can act like a king, Bai Yu?" Sengoku muttered.

"You have no idea what kind of wrath you've just unleashed."

Alabasta – The Poneglyph Chamber

Bai Yu teleported directly into the chamber with Nico Robin.

Inside stood the massive Poneglyph, its ancient inscriptions glowing faintly in the dim light. This particular stone contained the location of Pluton, the legendary ancient weapon.

Robin studied the carvings intently.

Bai Yu, however, simply placed his hand on the massive stone and muttered, "Meh."

Robin glanced at him, clearly unimpressed. "You don't care?"

Bai Yu shrugged.

"There are two Poneglyphs in Alabasta, right? One here, and another buried somewhere deep in the desert."

Robin's eyes widened. He knows that?!

Bai Yu continued, "But honestly… so what? The truth of everything is in Raftel. And I'm not interested in some relic of the past. Only the victors get to write history."

Robin hesitated. "You really don't care about the ancient history of the world?"

Bai Yu smirked. "I'll put it this way—"

"Is being able to destroy an island with one shot really that impressive?"

"Can Pluton even hurt me?"

"And most importantly… is Pluton a beautiful woman?"

Robin stared at him in disbelief.

Then, despite herself, she laughed.

She couldn't remember the last time she had genuinely laughed.

"You're unbelievable," she said, shaking her head.

Bai Yu waved dismissively. "We'll check out the other Poneglyph later."

With that, he placed the entire massive stone into his storage ring.

Robin gawked. You… You can just take them like that?!

Then, to her further surprise, Bai Yu took another ring and gently slipped it onto her finger.

Robin stared at him, eyes wide.

After a long moment of silence, she whispered, "This is…?"

Bai Yu simply smiled. "Time will give you the answer."

Robin was speechless.

Instinctively, she clenched her hand, rubbing the ring between her fingers.

It felt important.

"BAI YU!"

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

"GET BACK HERE—NOW! I CAN'T HOLD THIS ANY LONGER!"

Above Alabasta – The Sky is Falling

From above the capital, Nami hovered over the city on Island Cloud, her face drenched in sweat as she desperately tried to control the massive storm system she had created.

The entire kingdom watched in awe.

Below, King Nefertari Cobra and his ministers stood frozen in disbelief.

For the first time in years, rain fell over Alabasta.

Not because of Dance Powder, but because of true weather manipulation.

But the sheer size of the storm was too much for Nami. Even with Kaya's healing abilities, the strain was overwhelming.

The thunderclouds had spread across the entire kingdom, but controlling them… was a different story.

Bai Yu's Arrival

At the exact moment Nami's strength was about to fail—

Bai Yu appeared.

"Thank you for your hard work," he said gently, placing a reassuring hand on Nami's shoulder.

"I'll take it from here."

Nami exhaled in relief, nearly collapsing.

With a simple gesture, Bai Yu amplified the storm, using his infinite stamina to stabilize the weather system.

BOOM!

Lightning crackled as the entire kingdom became engulfed in a torrential downpour.

The rain washed away the Dance Powder, purging Alabasta of the contamination that had been plaguing its climate for years.

As the rain continued, tears fell freely across the kingdom.

Princess Vivi collapsed to her knees, overwhelmed with emotion.

Tashigi gently held her up, watching the scene with wide eyes.

"Who… are you, Bai Yu?" she whispered.

She wasn't sure anymore.

Was he a pirate?

A hero?

A king?

If Bai Yu had heard her thoughts, he would have scoffed.

The last thing he wanted was to be seen as a hero.

The Rebel Army

Meanwhile, in the desert, Bai Yu turned his gaze toward the Rebel Army, who had gathered in staggering numbers.

King Cobra's Royal Army numbered around 600,000 soldiers.

The rebels, however, had over a million men—an absolutely terrifying force.

Even Bai Yu was slightly impressed.

"A rebellion of this scale?" he muttered. "Where the hell did they find this many people?"

Alabasta's total population must be enormous if they could raise this kind of army.

Still, it didn't matter.

Bai Yu floated over the battlefield, standing atop Island Cloud.

"Time to end this," he murmured.

Then—

He unleashed his Conqueror's Haki.

The Sky Shatters

A black and red storm erupted from Bai Yu's body.

The sheer force of his Haki split the sky apart, sending shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.

CRACK!

It felt as if reality itself was breaking.

Thousands upon thousands of rebel soldiers collapsed instantly, their bodies dropping like flies as they foamed at the mouth.

The ground shook as an entire wave of men fainted on the spot.

Within moments—

The entire rebellion was over.

Above the battlefield, Bai Yu exhaled.

"Not bad," he muttered. "I still need more practice."

If his Conqueror's Haki were stronger, he could have wiped out the entire army in a single blast.

But for now…

This would do.

Alabasta, The End of the War

As the last of the rebels fell unconscious, silence blanketed the kingdom.

In that moment—

Bai Yu's legend grew.
