Aaron gazed at the people before him. After giving them a brief explanation of the events that had transpired, he turned back toward the box where Tōsen Kaname had fallen.
At that moment, a system notification echoed in his mind:
"Ding! A box has been detected near the host. Would the host like to open it?"
"Open!" Aaron silently commanded in his heart.
"Ding! Congratulations, host, for obtaining 50,000 Reiatsu!"
"Ding! Congratulations, host, for acquiring High-Speed Regeneration!"
"Ding! Congratulations, host, for unlocking the Nine-Phase Round Kill!"
"Ding! Congratulations, host, for acquiring a Zanpakutō!"
As the system notifications resounded in his mind, the rewards dropped by Tōsen Kaname were absorbed by Aaron.
From his conversation with Hirako and the others just now, he learned that three Arrancar had also appeared at their base.
Determined, he decided to retrieve the boxes left behind by Grimmjow and the others before heading to the battlefield where Hirako and his group had just fought.
With a sharp burst of sonido, Aaron shot into the sky under everyone's watchful gaze.
"Sensei, did he discover something new?"
"I didn't sense any particularly strong Reiatsu fluctuations."
"Even after all these years, sensei remains as enigmatic as ever."
As Aaron vanished into the night sky, the people gathered outside the Urahara Shop murmured amongst themselves.
Hovering above, he spotted three floating boxes, and a small smile formed on his lips.
After a brief interaction with the system, another series of notifications filled his mind:
"Ding! Congratulations, host, for obtaining 130,000 Reiatsu!"
"Ding! Congratulations, host, for acquiring the Claws of the Leopard King!"
Grimmjow's box alone contained 130,000 Reiatsu points, leaving Aaron quite satisfied.
What excited him even more was that the box had granted him Grimmjow's Resurrección ability—the Claws of the Leopard King!
However, this wasn't the time to test his new powers. Three more boxes awaited him at Hirako's base.
With a flicker of movement, Aaron's figure blurred, vanishing into the night sky.
Minutes later, he successfully opened the boxes left behind by Shawlong and the others.
This time, the rewards weren't as impressive—less than 100,000 Reiatsu in total—but even so, Aaron was pleased.
After all, in just half a night, he had accumulated over 200,000 Reiatsu, along with a new Zanpakutō and the Claws of the Leopard King.
Upon opening his system interface, he saw that his total Reiatsu had surpassed 700,000, just a step away from 800,000.
Although Reiatsu appeared as mere numbers on the system display, Aaron understood its significance.
Even Yamamoto Genryūsai, at his peak after activating Bankai, had only around 200,000 Reiatsu.
Now, Aaron could say with confidence—he was the strongest being in this world.
Even without relying on additional techniques or abilities, his sheer Reiatsu alone was enough to overwhelm most foes.
However, he had his sights set on an even greater goal—to transcend the limits of the Shinigami realm.
For now, though, he would wait until Aizen completed his research on the perfected Hōgyoku.
With his decision made, Aaron turned and sped toward the Urahara Shop.
After such a long night, he figured he deserved a soak in the shop's hot spring.
Just as he was about to return, he sensed two faint Reiatsu signatures in the distance.
One of them was unmistakably Ishida Uryū's.
And as for the other—Aaron didn't need to think twice to recognize its owner.
It was none other than Ishida Ryuuken, Uryū's father.
By all rights, Ishida Ryuuken restoring his son's Quincy abilities had nothing to do with Aaron.
But the moment he recalled the Quincy Medallion that Ryuuken had once shown to Uryū in Bleach, another thought came to his mind—
An organization he had almost forgotten.
The Sternritter.
Karakura Hospital, Underground Training Room
Ishida Ryuuken watched his son as he underwent recovery training.
"Uryū, you truly are talentless."
Adjusting his glasses with a hint of disdain, he continued,
"I still don't understand why you chose to inherit the ways of the Quincy in the first place."
Uryū remained unfazed.
"Ishida Ryuuken, you gave me your word. Now, you have to keep it."
His tone was cold and detached.
"I also promise you—I will sever all ties with the Shinigami.
"As long as you restore my former strength."
Ishida Ryuuken lit a cigarette, exhaling a plume of white smoke as he scoffed.
"You don't even call me 'father' anymore, do you, Uryū?"
"To be honest, I think you should abandon this foolish quest to regain your power."
As the two continued their exchange, an unnatural fluctuation rippled through the space nearby.
A moment later, a figure emerged within the underground training room.
Both father and son immediately turned to face the unexpected visitor.
And when they finally saw who it was, their reactions were markedly different.
Aaron smirked.
"It's been a long time."
He casually greeted Ishida Ryuuken.
Both men had their own thoughts racing through their minds.
Uryū, for one, knew all too well the terrifying power his teacher possessed.
But this situation raised a new question—
Could it be that Aaron and Ishida Ryuuken were old acquaintances?
"Sensei," Uryū bowed.
Aaron nodded at his student before shifting his gaze to Ryuuken.
The Quincy doctor's expression darkened.
The sight of Aaron instantly dredged up memories from over 200 years ago—memories of the day he had been gravely wounded.
A stranger who felt all too familiar…
And now, that same stranger was his son's mentor.
Uryū observed the silent standoff between the two, trying to grasp what connection they might share.
At last, Ryuuken spoke.
"I never expected you to be Uryū's teacher."
A bitter smile crossed his lips as he shook his head.
Aaron met his gaze with a knowing look.
"Tell me—have you ever heard of the Sternritter?"
Uryū stood quietly, lost in the exchange.
But across from him, Ishida Ryuuken's expression twisted into one of utter shock.
