Urion continued flying at full speed through the large opening he had created in the floors of the inverted pyramid, that is, the underground, to reach the surface. He destroys more and more structures, firing rays while holding Aiden trapped with one of his tentacles.
The boy tried to break free, but it was useless; he screamed and struggled with desperation. He even managed to bite the tentacle, causing it to loosen slightly, but soon it tightened again and squeezed him with greater force. Before he lost consciousness, the guardian mentally told him: "It is still too early for you to die. You will not perish from a fall; you will have the privilege of being finished off by a guardian. You are valuable to that person, but dangerous to us." Aiden took his last breath, wondering who "we" were and if there were more of them, before passing out from the pressure of the tentacle.
Meanwhile, the robots from Zeus's company, upon hearing the order given by the lead robot from their great boss, begin evacuating people from the offices in an orderly and calm manner. However, when the building started to shake as if a massive earthquake were occurring, chaos erupted. The workers panicked, trampling over the security robots and rushing toward the stairs like a stampede. Some fell, and others were stepped on, injuring each other, while some robots were destroyed in the frantic crowd trying to evacuate.
Amid the chaos, less than half of the people working in the building had managed to escape. The rest remained inside when half of the building began to collapse. The massive structure split into two parts, one moving to the right and the other to the left, crushing those who were caught in the middle.
The people were horrified as the section they were in crashed to the ground, raising a thick cloud of dust in its wake. Zeus, noticing the situation, instructed his generals: "Quickly, search for survivors." As he placed a watch on his wrist, a hologram emerged from it to communicate with the head security robot. Zeus was evil, but he valued his workers—or at least those who could be useful to him.
From the center of the shattered building, a large red beam shot up into the sky, dissipating as it went. Once it faded, a humanoid figure appeared: it was Urion, holding the boy with one of his tentacles, his eyes closed. Those who had managed to escape the building in time looked up at the sky and saw the figure, becoming even more terrified. Some said it was a demon, others thought it was a mole-man, or perhaps an invention gone wrong seeking revenge on its creator.
Once the dust cloud had cleared, Urion opened his eyes and fixed his gaze on where Zeus stood. He began to descend from the sky, positioning himself on the ground while transforming one of his arms into a scythe. He started carving a path through the crowd to reach Zeus. Screams echoed everywhere as he sliced through anyone who crossed his path, whether they were machines or humans alike. The people, who had thought they were safe, began to run as if there were no tomorrow, but it was futile. Urion transformed his other hand into a sickle and began launching his dual-sickle attack to the left and right, drenching his path in crimson. He walked slowly toward Zeus, savoring the carnage.
As he drew closer, Urion activated his telepathy and spoke to Zeus: "I remember you. I didn't think humans would last this long alive in this world. Perhaps a hundred years have passed since the last time. Back then, you escaped, locking me away in the world I came from and taking some things from my place of protection. But this time, you've gone too far by taking something extremely dangerous for humans. We only have access to its knowledge. First, I'll make those people who work with you pay, and once there's no one left, I'll finish off the boy I have with me. He is the key to what you're trying to achieve." Urion let out a diabolical laugh.
Zeus, who had never been seen afraid, began to feel fear creeping in. "That thing has memories, or perhaps it's digging into my mind. I suppose I must destroy it before it destroys me," he thought, gritting his teeth. Doctors Laos and Swang stood behind their boss, watching the scene in horror as Urion obliterated everything in his path.
Urion drew nearer, destroying robots and people alike. Small explosions erupted, and a red rain fell to the ground, bathing the guardian in blood. As for the generals, they split into two groups to search the remains of the building for survivors. Led, Irina, and Aragon headed to the section that had collapsed to the left, while Lady, Aldos, Eliot, and Jeti went to the right side. Before departing for their respective search areas, Led, the general leader, instructed them: "Find everyone you can and pull them out of the rubble. We'll meet back here in half an hour." Everyone responded affirmatively and proceeded to leave.
Led Wargen was a Russian man with a prominent scar over his right eye, covered by a dark patch, which added to his imposing appearance. At fifty years old, he maintained an impressive musculature and a physique enviable for his age. He wore a black military uniform with red stripes, complemented by a matching kepi that accentuated his authoritative aura. With his head completely shaved and his upright posture, he exuded a cold and commanding presence. His deep voice resonated with a tone of command, and his favorite phrase, "Discipline is the path to victory," encapsulated his firm belief in order and rigidity. Beneath his stern exterior lay a sharp tactical mind and an unwavering commitment to his principles, making him a leader both respected and feared. His figure not only commanded respect but also conveyed a sense of absolute security and control.
Lady Ria, second-in-command, was a woman in her forties, Latin American, who wore glasses and had dark red hair and penetrating green eyes. Though she preferred to keep social interactions to a minimum, her ability to build things demonstrated her skill and knowledge, ensuring no one underestimated her. Her calm appearance could be deceiving, as she was meticulous in everything she did. However, when someone irritated her excessively, she could become utterly ruthless, affirming the saying that the quiet ones are the worst. Her reserved and determined nature, combined with a strong work ethic and relentless capability when provoked, made her a formidable figure. She always wore a white lab coat that covered most of her body, along with black pants, black boots, and black gloves. Her favorite phrase was: "Do not mistake my calmness for weakness; in my silence lies my strength."
Aragon Barns, from the American division, was an attractive, athletic man known for his blonde hair and crystal-clear ocean-blue eyes, which charmed women. Skilled at fencing and hand-to-hand combat, Aragon was the master of Sir Larot, to whom he had taught everything he knew. His sharp intelligence and cunning made him a formidable opponent, and his ability to persuade others was almost hypnotic. Additionally, he possessed the skill to manipulate the "aura", allowing him to gauge an opponent's strength just by sensing it and anticipating attacks in the face of any imminent danger. A worldly man, Aragón was familiar with many forms of combat, further increasing his lethality in battle. The combination of his charming appearance, martial skills, innate persuasion, and aural perception made him a highly admired and respected individual. His brown armor covered his chest, shoulders, arms, and legs, and he carried a belt around his waist where he stored his two swords, one longer than the other. His motto was: "My aura reveals hidden truths; every movement, every word, is an extension of my will."
Irina Agos is the leader of the Oceania division, a thirty-year-old Australian with long black hair and brown eyes. Tall and elegant, she prefers to wear high heels and always dresses in an impeccable and exotic manner, standing out with her red lipstick that makes her irresistible to men. Irina always carries a pair of kangaroo-shaped boxing gloves, which she keeps at her waist and uses when entering battle, along with a leather whip that she wields with skill. Her presence is a mix of sophistication and danger, with a firm and self-assured attitude. Her unique style and combat ability make her a figure who is both admired and feared. Her signature phrase is: "Elegance in battle, relentless in victory."
Aldos Etron, leader of the Africa division, hails from Morocco and is a forty-five-year-old man with an imposing presence and yellow eyes. He always wears his dark hair in tied-back dreadlocks, giving him a distinctive air. His robust build and formidable appearance, coupled with his tough demeanor, have earned him both respect and fear in equal measure. He is brave and highly experienced in his role. He dresses elegantly, as if he were royalty, and carries axes on the sides of his vest. In addition to being part of Zeus's elite team, Aldos is the unrecognized son of the king of his country, a fact that has significantly shaped his life. He has been bringing chaos and destruction against the regime his father established and which is now led by his half-brother, as he attempts to crown himself king of the nation. Family is not a priority for Aldos, and he is capable of taking extreme measures to survive, showcasing his determination and resilience in a hostile environment. His particular phrase is: "Survival is an art, and I am its master."
Eliot Page is the leader of the Europe division and the youngest member of the group, at twenty years old. He is in charge of the company's connections in Europe and was recruited at a young age by Zeus himself, who saw his potential. Eliot is a highly skilled and futuristic young man, always thinking about the future. He prefers to wear light clothing and a sporty hoodie, and he loves music, so he is always seen with headphones. Of average height, he is the fastest member of the team; some say he is faster than a moving motorcycle. He enjoys changing his hair color, which is usually blue with green on top and gold underneath. He has tanned skin, two green eyes, and freckles on his nose, giving him a youthful and vibrant appearance. His energy and speed, combined with his adaptability and forward-thinking vision, make him a valuable member of the team. He always says: "The future doesn't wait, and neither do I."
Jeti Fin is the leader of the Asia division, hailing from a forgotten part of the continent. His appearance combines golden hair inherited from his father and dark eyes, with one of them displaying a mysterious red hue at its center—a trait he was born with. At twenty-four years old, Jeti has been shaped by his mother's connections; she is the queen of the most notorious criminal gang in Asia, providing him with the resources necessary for his illicit activities. He keeps his double life hidden from his fiancée, who remains unaware of his actions. Jeti is known for his distinctive style, which includes a black wool cap and a blue suit with white stripes, reflecting his duality between the ordinary and the extraordinary. His motto is: "Between shadows and light, I find my own path."
Sir Larot is the handler of impossible tasks and takes care of business when no agreement is reached with the opposing party, doing everything in his power to uphold the word of his lord, Zeus. He is an enigmatic figure who always wears dark armor, which, though it appears heavy, is light and covers him from head to toe. He never shows his face in public; the only people who know who hides beneath the armor are his master, Aragon, and Zeus, his supreme boss. No one knows where he came from or his place of origin. He simply appeared in Zeus's hands at a very young age and was placed under Aragon's supervision for training. Sir Larot is a figure shrouded in mystery, whose commitment and loyalty are unbreakable. His motto is: "In mystery, I find my strength; in loyalty, my purpose."
Once properly introduced, those present split up to search for survivors. What drove this unique group of individuals to follow Zeus remains unclear—was it perhaps the money, or had he promised them something that made them willing to follow him everywhere without question?
As Zeus's leaders continued their search for survivors, Urion drew closer to Zeus. Now nearly within reach, he grabbed the boy and, pointing one of his scythe-like hands at the child's neck, declared to the old man before him: "Here ends your foolish dream, and once I finish with that dream, I will finish with you." But just as the weapon was about to cut Aiden's neck, Urion felt a powerful blow to his back that made him stagger. At the same time, something severed the tentacle holding the boy. The creature began to shriek in anger.
