Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: This is the Theater Version! [Not Related to the Main Storyline]

---

"It's so slow, Kakashi," Naruto grumbled, squatting on the ground with an irritated look. "This is so damn boring…"

"This is all your fault, Naruto!" Sakura yelled, clearly pissed off. "How the hell do you even manage to sleep while standing upside down on a roof?! I didn't even get to finish watching the movie before I got kicked out! And I really wanted to see Lord Sandayu's heroic figure!"

"What? That movie was boring as hell. Made me sleepy just watching it. And besides, I was the one who fell, not you. What are you bitching about?" Naruto said lazily, lying down on the grass with a bored expression.

"Nani?!" Sakura's face darkened as she clenched her fist.

She swung at Naruto, her punch filled with rage.

"Hey! You can't hit me! You can't hit me! Just a little more~" Naruto dodged left and right, teasing her as she got more and more frustrated.

Sasuke, watching the scene unfold, simply muttered under his breath, "...Idiots."

Suddenly, the sound of galloping hooves echoed through the area. A girl on a white horse burst through the movie theater wall and sped off down the road.

"Ah?" Sakura blinked in shock. "Wait a second… isn't that Princess Koyuki?!"

"Stop her!" a loud voice came from behind as a group of men dressed in black, looking like bandits, rode after her on horseback.

One of them collided straight into Sakura, knocking her over.

"Kuso! (Damn it!)" Sakura gritted her teeth as she pushed herself up, glaring at the fleeing princess. "Oi, Naruto! Help me out here!"

"Ugh… noooo, it's too much work…" Naruto groaned, still lying on the grass like a lifeless fish.

Sakura didn't hesitate. She grabbed Naruto by the ankles and took off running, dragging him behind her like a ragdoll.

Sasuke sighed but stood up and followed closely.

"You bastards, stop right there!" Sakura suddenly transformed into a furious Super Saiyan-like form, lightning crackling around her as she swung Naruto like a flail, throwing him straight into the horsemen like a damn meteor hammer.

"Ow, ow, ow! That hurts, damn it!" Naruto groaned as he slammed into multiple riders, knocking them off their horses.

Sasuke wasted no time, jumping into the fray and slicing through their leader in an instant.

A few moments later, all of the attackers had been tied up by Sakura and Sasuke.

"Yo, seems like you guys are having fun early in the morning," Kakashi suddenly appeared, standing casually on the wall.

"Huh?" Naruto, now lying on the ground like a broken doll, looked up groggily. He stretched and yawned. "Maaaan, I'm exhausted~"

"Well, none of that was my problem." With a poof, Naruto vanished.

"Shadow Clone," Kakashi muttered, squinting his eye. "Oh, by the way… you two just tied up our employer first thing in the morning."

He turned and appeared next to the leader of the supposed 'bandits,' slicing through the ropes in an instant and helping him up. "Ah, my bad."

Meanwhile, by the river, Princess Koyuki was sitting on the grass, lost in thought.

"Good morning, Your Highness," a smooth voice said.

She looked up—and was immediately met with the sight of a blond-haired, blue-eyed, ridiculously good-looking guy standing before her.

Her face turned bright red.

Without a word, she panicked, jumped onto her horse, and galloped away.

"Ahhh~ she ran off." Naruto sighed, disappearing into the ground in an instant, only to reappear right next to her within seconds.

"Beautiful lady, why are you dressed like this today?" Naruto smirked, suddenly wrapping his arm around her waist from behind. "Not that I'm complaining… I like it."

"KYAAA!!" Princess Koyuki shrieked, losing control of her horse.

The two tumbled down, but Naruto caught her effortlessly in a princess carry before she hit the ground.

Her response?

A flurry of fists raining down on his head.

"You damn pervert!" she screamed.

Naruto held his head in frustration. "Who the hell said anime girls have low IQs and will fall for just a single sweet word?! If I ever get back home, I swear I'll hunt those people down and smack some sense into them!"

"Oi, oi," Naruto waved a hand dismissively, "Relax. I'm your bodyguard during this whole shoot."

Meanwhile, back at the theater…

"So, our mission this time is to protect Ms. Koyuki Kazahana during her overseas filming," Kakashi explained to Sakura and Sasuke.

A middle-aged man with small glasses stepped forward, giving a polite nod. "I'm Sandayū Asama, the heroine's manager. I appreciate your cooperation."

At that moment, the director cut in. "Mr. Kakashi, I heard that you've been to the Land of Snow before?"

"Hmm… yeah, but it was a long time ago." Kakashi answered vaguely, clearly not wanting to talk about it.

"Didn't they say the Land of Snow was a really poor country?" one of the actors chimed in.

Sakura, upon recognizing him, gasped with hearts in her eyes. "Omg, it's Sandayu-sama!"

"It's rumored that the last filming team ran into some huge conspiracy, and after suffering a major setback, they went bankrupt," Sandayu continued.

"And speaking of which," he added, "Koyuki ran off the moment she heard she was going back to the Land of Snow."

The agent next to him simply lowered his head, saying nothing.

Later that night, a disguised Koyuki was walking through the streets with Naruto—who now sported a bruised nose and a swollen face.

"What's your deal?" Naruto muttered. "You're seriously not planning to go back to the crew?"

"Mind your own damn business!" Koyuki snapped, storming into an izakaya.

She sat down and drank alone, staring at the pendant around her neck. "No way in hell I'm going back to the Land of Snow…" she murmured drunkenly.

A random drunk guy staggered toward her.

Bang!

Naruto appeared out of nowhere and knocked the guy away.

He then turned to Koyuki, his Sharingan slowly spinning.

"Alright, time for bed," he smirked.

"Huh?" she blinked in confusion before suddenly dozing off, collapsing onto the table.

A moment later, Kakashi and Sandayū rushed in.

"What happened to her?" Sandayū asked.

"Nothing much," Naruto grinned, "Just knocked out after one too many drinks."

Meanwhile, the drunk Naruto had knocked aside earlier was lurking in the shadows, watching them.

"...So it really is Princess Koyuki Kazahana," he muttered. "That means the hexagonal crystal is with her."

He stumbled away into the night.

The next morning…

Koyuki groggily sat up in her cabin on the ship. "Sandayū, pour me a glass of water… urgh, why do I feel like I'm still swaying?"

Sandayū gave a tired smile. "That's not just your imagination."

Koyuki groaned as a makeup artist fussed over her.

"Don't let your guard down," Kakashi said in a deadpan tone. "This is an A-rank mission."

"A-rank?" Sasuke scoffed. "What, protecting some celebrity is supposed to be A-rank now?"

Meanwhile, Naruto was fishing lazily off the ship's bow, and Sakura was busy watching the director film a scene.

"What amazing acting!" Sakura gushed.

"That's right," Sandayū said proudly. "Koyuki is an actress like no other. She can stand in front of a camera all day and still deliver a perfect performance!"

Just then—

"Shishimaru, don't die!!" Koyuki screamed dramatically.

The ship lurched.

"S-Sandayū! Eye drops, now!!" she shouted.

"Y-yes!" Sandayū rushed over, applying the eye drops.

"Alright, alright, let's go again!"

"Shishimaru! Don't die!!"

Naruto yawned loudly.

Sakura just frowned.

…So this is an actress?
