"So, where should I start?" Gajeel sat down on the sofa, looking at Mira and Noel across from him.
After a brief moment of thought, he finally spoke, "I'll keep it simple. Since you've also made it here, I assume you've run into that guy, Mystogan, right? Same for me. That guy told me a lot of things, then sent me here. Along the way, I ran into Edolas version of myself. And this capable guy decided to help me out."
Standing to the side was a man dressed in a neatly pressed blue suit, wearing glasses, and bearing the exact same face as Gajeel.
He removed his hat, gave a polite bow, and spoke, "I am Gajeel of Edolas. A pleasure to meet you, Noel from Earthland, as well as this lovely young lady."
"Hello, Edolas Gajeel."
"Hello, and just call me Mirajane," Mira said with a smile.
"Your name is Mirajane? Since you insist, then I won't be too formal..."
"Alright, let's skip the unnecessary chatter," Gajeel interrupted impatiently. "For now, let's focus on figuring out how to rescue our guild members."
Noel nodded and said, "That's true. Although most of the magic crystals whereabouts are unknown, we can still start by rescuing our comrades who have been turned into the magic crystal in the plaza."
"Wait... hold on a second." Gajeel interrupted Noel, sounding a bit shocked.
"Are you saying... that massive magic crystal in the plaza is only a part of the whole thing?"
Gajeel's surprise was understandable.
The size of that magic crystal was as large as an ordinary house.
If that was only a portion, then the main body of the magic crystal must be even more terrifying.
"Yes, there's no doubt about it. That should only be a fragment of the entire magic crystal. Somewhere in the royal capital, there's an even larger one."
"Now that you mention it... that magic crystal did have visible signs of being split apart," Edolas Gajeel said, stroking his chin in agreement with Noel's theory.
"Then, Edolas Gajeel, since you're a native of Edolas, could you give us a brief rundown of the military strength of the Edolas Kingdom?"
Noel pondered for a moment before asking Edolas Gajeel.
He was confident in his own strength, but he had no idea how powerful the kingdom's forces were.
Rushing in recklessly might result in a successful rescue, but if they were met with an elite counterattack and failed, the enemy would be on high alert for their next attempt.
That would make any future rescue efforts exponentially more difficult.
This was not a situation where Noel could afford to be careless.
"If I can help you, of course, I won't refuse. However, the kingdom keeps such information highly classified, so I only know the most basic details," Edolas Gajeel said with a troubled expression.
Then, he opened a notebook and spread it out before them.

"We have to go up against Erza and Noel?" Gajeel looked troubled.
Since the opponents were Erza and Noel, he had a rough idea of what kind of strength they were up against.
As for the other division captains… Gajeel had already dismissed them as unimportant.
"It shouldn't be too much of a problem. Those captains won't be standing guard over the magic crystal all the time, right?" Mira said softly.
"Exactly. Also, this plaza seems to have only two access points, one to the north and one to the south. The southern entrance has fewer guards. "Is that so?" A figure draped in a loose white cloak, with their face concealed beneath a hood, walked toward the magic crystal at a steady, unhurried pace.
On such a special day—when the extraction of the crystal's magic power was about to take place—a suspicious individual appearing nearby naturally caught the attention of the guarding soldiers.
A few soldiers exchanged glances before one of them stepped forward, raising his spear as he approached the figure.
"Hey, who are you? What are you doing here?" the soldier shouted, pointing his spear at the approaching figure.
"Apologies, am I disturbing you?"
The figure showed no trace of tension, despite the spear's sharp tip being so close to his face.
His voice was warm yet slightly hoarse, carrying a soothing quality, like a gentle spring breeze, causing the questioning soldier to subconsciously lower his weapon slightly.
"If you have no business here, stay away," the soldier said in a firm yet slightly softened tone.
The figure chuckled softly, then reached up and pulled back his hood, revealing a strikingly handsome and ethereal face. "I'm afraid that won't be possible. My comrades are there—I have to go and get them."
Bang!
Before the soldier could react, a sharp pain shot through his abdomen, and in the next instant, his consciousness faded into darkness.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
"Someone help! He's trying to seize the magic crystal!"
"This guy… Why does he look so much like Prince Noel?"
Noel had just taken down the questioning soldier when the other guards, who had been watching from nearby, immediately surrounded him.
Though they were momentarily shocked by how similar he looked to Edolas Noel, they quickly dismissed the thought.
His hair color and attire were different, and as soldiers of the royal capital, they had all seen Edolas Noel before.
Unlike the people Noel had encountered upon first arriving in Edolas, they did not mistake him for their prince.
After only a brief moment of surprise, they charged at him.
"[Sword of Light]."
A dazzling white blade of condensed light formed in Noel's hand.
With a swift leap, he met the advancing soldiers head-on.
The brilliant swordlight carved radiant arcs through the crowd, and wherever it passed, kingdom soldiers collapsed one after another.
Every soldier struck by the blade was precisely wounded at the gaps in their armor, yet their armor itself remained completely intact.
Noel's speed was undeniable, but his actions only caused a greater commotion.
All the troops stationed around the magic crystal immediately took notice, and nearly a hundred soldiers rushed toward him.
"Reinforcements! Someone is trying to seize the magic crystal from the north!"
"Leave a third of the soldiers to guard the south—the rest, come with me!"
From the rooftop of a distant building, a blue-haired girl observed the chaos below.
She was none other than Orphelia, a member of the Demon God's Soul.
Orphelia quietly watched the unfolding battle, a faint glimmer flashing through her eyes. "Lord Nord, is it? Just as expected, you've come to take the magic crystal. I do hope you won't interfere with our plans… Otherwise, I'll be quite troubled."
Murmuring to herself, she cast one last glance at the fight below before smirking with an enigmatic expression and turning to leave.
"But for now, it's not my concern. I'll let that fool of an Edolas king deal with this first."
