Based on the current performance, Caesar was certain that this Devil Fruit was far from ordinary.
As he was lost in thought, he suddenly noticed that at some point, tiny black dust particles had begun appearing, slowly adhering to the small beast.
Observing this, Caesar intercepted some of the dust with his mind, held it in his hand, and examined it closely.
At a glance, he recognized it—metal shavings!
This meant that the dust constantly attaching to the small beast was all metallic in nature.
Caesar furrowed his brows slightly, deep in contemplation.
Initially, the fruit had caused a certain area to enter a gravity-free state, and now the small beast was gradually drawing objects toward itself. This suggested that gravity was at play.
Then, if gravity was capable of making objects in the affected range press back to the ground, imposing weight upon them, it would explain the earlier phenomenon.
Furthermore, the presence of static electricity and the ability to attract metallic dust indicated another force at work—electromagnetic force.
A fruit that could manipulate both gravity and electromagnetism simultaneously? As these thoughts connected in his mind, Caesar's excitement grew.
Before arriving in this world, he had read about fundamental forces in scientific texts. Gravity and electromagnetism were both classified as force fields.
Thinking of this, Caesar's heart pounded with exhilaration.
This Devil Fruit exhibited control over gravity and electromagnetism—perhaps even more.
If his speculation was correct, this could be a "Force Field Fruit," an advanced form of the Gravity Fruit.
In that case, this Devil Fruit would be one of the most powerful Paramecia-class fruits in existence!
In terms of potential and development depth, it stood among the world's finest.
Compared to Whitebeard's Gura Gura no Mi (Tremor-Tremor Fruit), it was likely not inferior—perhaps even superior.
Of course, such a fruit would also be among the hardest to master.
But that didn't matter. With Pure Gold, Caesar had all the time in the world to develop its abilities until he reached godlike power.
His excitement surged.
Taking a deep breath, Caesar calmed himself. No matter what its true classification was, this Devil Fruit was a top-tier ability.
Even if it wasn't a full-fledged Force Field Fruit, just having the power to control gravity and electromagnetism simultaneously was an extraordinary advantage.
Now, all six unidentified Devil Fruits had been analyzed.
Four of them were useless junk, one possessed the ability to absorb and store kinetic energy to later release it—Caesar temporarily named it the Kinetic Energy Fruit.
And the last one was very likely the pinnacle of force-field abilities.
Adding these to the Goro Goro no Mi (Rumble-Rumble Fruit), the Fusion Fruit, the Electric Fruit, and the Scythe Fruit he had previously obtained, Caesar now had six highly valuable Devil Fruits aboard his ship.
Ownership of the Devil Fruits – Caesar's Decision
Among the six, Caesar decided to keep the Goro Goro no Mi in reserve since no suitable crew member had been found to wield it.
As for the Fusion Fruit, it had originally been intended for Douglas Bullet, but Bullet had chosen to focus on his physical strength first, delaying his consumption of the fruit.
That left the remaining four fruits, which Caesar planned to distribute immediately to enhance the crew's overall combat power.
Having reached a decision, Caesar used his Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki) to knock out the two small beasts that had eaten the Devil Fruits.
Though they posed no threat to him, keeping them awake would be a nuisance if they resisted inside their digestive tracts.
With all six unknown Devil Fruits now fully analyzed, Caesar used his Telekinesis to compress the soil into a solid stone table.
The crew gathered around, including Amichael and Olga, the newest recruits of the Caesar Pirates.
Caesar then placed the Diandian Fruit and Scythe Fruit on the table alongside the two unconscious animals, which had been sealed in hollow biscuits made by Yakexi for easier consumption.
"Alright, everyone," Caesar began, his voice steady. "I intend to distribute these Devil Fruits to strengthen our pirate crew."
No one objected.
Caesar had already planned the allocations.
The Force Field Fruit—if that was truly its name—was one he had long decided to consume himself.
Without hesitation, Caesar picked up the hollow biscuit containing the fruit and spoke.
"I will be eating this one myself."
No one voiced any disagreement. It was only natural for their captain to claim such an extraordinary power.
In fact, many of them believed that Caesar, as the strongest among them, was the ideal person to wield such an ability.
With the first fruit's fate decided, Caesar turned his attention to the biscuit containing the Kinetic Energy Fruit.
This fruit absorbed and stored kinetic energy from any attack before releasing it as an offensive counterstrike.
Scanning the crew seated at the stone table, Caesar's gaze settled on Regina and Weina.
Among all the crew members, they were the best candidates for the Kinetic Energy Fruit.
Regina was skilled in throwing knives and close-quarters dagger combat.
Weina specialized in kick-based martial arts.
Both fought in close range, making this fruit an ideal choice.
Truthfully, Caesar felt slightly reluctant to let anyone else claim this powerful ability.
If either Regina or Weina ate it, they would gain significant self-defense capabilities in future battles.
After some thought, Caesar made his decision.
"This next fruit grants the ability to absorb and store kinetic energy from attacks, then release it as an impact counterattack. For now, I'm calling it the Kinetic Energy Fruit," he explained.
He then turned to Regina and Weina.
"I want one of you two to consume it. I believe you're the best candidates. Discuss and decide who will take it."
Regina and Weina fell silent, contemplating.
After a moment, they both spoke at the same time.
"Let Regina eat it!"
"Let Weina eat it!"
Hearing each other's words, the two women looked at each other in surprise before smiling.
"There's no need to be polite, Weina," Regina said warmly. "This fruit will make you stronger."
Weina, however, shook her head.
"I've thought it through, Regina. You should eat this Devil Fruit!" she insisted.
"If you eat it, this power will be used to its fullest potential."
"Yes, it's a strong ability, and I was tempted… but I genuinely believe it suits you more."
Her determination was clear.
Seeing Weina's unwavering resolve, Regina sighed and nodded.
"Alright then…" she agreed, not pushing back any further.
Caesar let out a quiet sigh of relief. If he had been forced to choose, it would've been a difficult decision.
With Regina now confirmed as the Kinetic Energy Fruit's wielder, the only two remaining fruits were the Electric Fruit and Scythe Fruit.
Turning to the rest of the crew, Caesar spoke.
"These last two fruits, though they seem simple, have great potential if developed properly."
"I leave the choice to you all—who wants them?"
Several members declined, including Gnali, Hades, Yakexi, Amichael, and Olga.
That left only Griffin and Kyle, two Mink Tribe warriors.
Both exchanged glances before nodding in agreement.
"We'll eat them!" they declared.
Griffin took the Electric Fruit, which complemented his natural Electro abilities as a Mink.
Kyle, a feline Mink, chose the Scythe Fruit, which enhanced his claw-based combat style.
Satisfied with their choices, Caesar nodded.
With that, the Devil Fruits had been distributed, and the Caesar Pirates' power had grown significantly.
