Nezha's thoughts raced—how did this wandering Saint end up here? Without delay, he withdrew his spear, saluted, and said, "Disciple Li Nezha, under Lady Nuwa's tutelage, greets Uncle-Master Saint Zhunti."
He then stood motionless, adopting a "do whatever you please, just don't mess with me" attitude. If you call it fate, fine, as long as you don't fate me away too.
Zhunti was quite pleased with Nezha's attitude. With a wave of his sleeve, he captured Yuan Hong and said, "Uncle-Master doesn't bully juniors. Here's a copy of the Sutra of the Meditation on the Buddha of Infinite Life. Study it; you may find it rewarding."
After speaking, he glanced at Yu Yuan and the others. Hesitating momentarily, he chose not to "fate" them away but instead vanished into the horizon as if wandering away.
Nezha looked at the scripture in his hand and, without a second thought, tossed it into the Mountain and River Map. My devotion lies with my teacher—long live my teacher!
