Chapter 93 - Chapter 92: Collecting the Stone Slabs

Back in his own world, Yang Tao stared blankly at Suicune, which had reverted to having only four moves.

"It must be because of the world's restrictions. In other worlds, Suicune regains the full power of the Three Legendary Beasts, but in my world, it can only have four moves."

But that didn't really matter. Yang Tao wasn't too concerned. Right now, his only focus was figuring out how to win battles.

For regular Pokémon, as long as he had the type advantage, he could take them out in one or two moves—basically just grinding for experience. But boss-level Pokémon were much tougher.

"One step at a time. You can't rush progress!" Determined, Yang Tao set out in search of boss battles.

Spotting a boss Onix that had just spawned on a distant mountain, Yang Tao charged forward with Suicune.

"Go, Bellossom!"

Since Bellossom had a type advantage, the battle was over in no time. Defeating the boss Onix gave Yang Tao a confidence boost.

He continued challenging boss Pokémon one after another, and before he knew it, time had flown by.

Along the way, Yang Tao collected a huge amount of loot—including three Master Balls, proof of how many bosses he had defeated.

[A Legendary Pokémon has appeared in the desert!]

Yang Tao's eyes lit up. A new legendary had finally shown up—but which one?

Since it was daytime, it was likely either Groudon or Hoopa.

He quickly flew toward the desert and soon spotted the legendary Pokémon on the mini-map.

It was Hoopa!

"Take this—Master Ball!" He threw the Master Ball without hesitation, hitting his target.

Releasing the newly caught Hoopa, Yang Tao grinned. Another legendary in his collection.

He then took out the Prison Bottle that every Hoopa carried and used it. In an instant, Hoopa transformed into its Unbound form.

Its massive body and six powerful arms were a huge contrast to the small, mischievous Hoopa from before.

Seeing Hoopa Unbound's overwhelming presence, Yang Tao felt satisfied.

Back home, he sorted through his items and realized he had collected 16 stone slabs. He only needed the Dragon-type slab to craft the Azure Flute and summon Arceus.

"I'm almost there!" Yang Tao sighed at how long it had taken. "Time to look for Poké Ball chests!"

He had already found the Time-Space Altar on a rocky mountain; all he needed now were the stone slabs. Yang Tao decided to prioritize collecting them, capturing Arceus, and seeing if it would unlock a new mod.

Flying high above the ground, Yang Tao searched for Poké Ball chests. He ignored the large number of Pokémon below—right now, his only goal was finding the final slab.

Suddenly, he spotted an island in the middle of the ocean, covered in giant mushrooms. It was a Mushroom Island, a rare biome in his world.

Yang Tao quickly flew over, seeing herds of Mooshrooms wandering around.

"I finally found a Mushroom Island!"

Back when he first arrived in this world, he had wanted to take a Mooshroom back home—no more food shortages if he had one.

While exploring, Yang Tao also discovered a new mod plant: Max Mushrooms.

But mushrooms alone weren't enough—without a Dynamax Band, he couldn't actually use Dynamax.

In the game, you could get it through a config file, but where would you find a config file in real life?

Still, Yang Tao, not wanting to miss any opportunity, took all the Dynamax Mushrooms on the island.

He marked the teleport coordinates and continued searching for Poké Ball chests.

Opening a chest, he pulled out a Stone Tablet of Rock. Yang Tao showed no emotion as he stored it away.

This was already the 14th duplicate tablet he had found!

He felt nothing at this point, moving mechanically to the next location.

Opening a chest, grabbing the item, putting it in the bag, flying to the next spot—just repeating the same actions over and over.

He wasn't even sure why he liked playing this mod in the first place!

Dynamax Candy—into the bag!

Power Belt—into the bag!

Stone Tablet of Water—into the bag!

Stone Tablet of Dragon—into the bag!

Ultra Ball—into the bag! Huh? Huh?!

Yang Tao wiped his eyes and stared at the Stone Tablet of Dragon sitting in his bag.

A wave of happiness washed over him.

"Finally, I got it!" He grabbed the tablet and gave it a kiss.

He was one step closer to summoning Arceus.

All he needed now was the Holy Grail to trade for the Azure Flute.

Then he could head to the altar, summon Arceus, and be forced into battle.

But with eight Master Balls in his inventory, Yang Tao had nothing to fear.
