After the battle with Askeladd and his crew Leif and the others headed back on his boat, they had to leave the other boats behind. I don't know if everyone was too busy processing what just happened but they somehow missed Thorfinn staying behind.
After Leif and them finally left. Askeladd and his crew threw ropes around the remaining boats and began setting off for their next destination.
A hour later Thorfinn appeared from his hiding place and stood at the end of the ship facing Askeladd and the others. He screamed how he was going to kill them with a vicious look in his eyes.
Shortly after, I also appeared from my hiding place, Thorfinn failed to notice me, as he was curled up in a blanket mourning over the death of his father.
Although Thorfinn failed to notice me, Askeladd and his crew did. For the next couple of minutes all I could here was conversations between them about how now there were two kids tagging along, instead of one, followed by some joking and laughing.
The only one who payed close attention to me was Askeladd, I don't know what will happen when we land, but I had to make sure I was in good condition.
I brought some bread with me along with some jerky that I had traded the villagers fish for. I would offer some to Thorfinn, but he probably wouldn't even hear me. I'll ask later.

It's been a couple days since the battle between Thors and Askleladd. Over this time Thorfinn communicated with me but he was no longer the same cheerful boy from before. Now he was cold, and closed off.
He did accept the food I offered him but he didn't even say thank you, or even look at me.
Ther is good news though, Askeladd's men finally shut up after talking nonstop over these the couple of days.
In the meantime I've just been fishing to kill time. I found the rod after the battle from earlier. I managed to catch some fish and put them in a bucket I found. It never hurts to have more food, especially when I don't know when we'll reach land.

2 days have passed and I can finally see land. As we got closer I could hear some of the men say where we were. We were in England, by the vicinity of the Humber River.
I guess we were just stopping by because there was only forest wherever one looked, with no houses in sight.
I got off the ship, with Thorfinn following right behind me, before I could go any further, I was blocked off by Askleladd.
He was just looking at me, I tried to go by him but he stopped me before I could go any further.
"You're different then others, I can't put my finger on it but I can tell that you're not like other kids, or Norseman for that matter."
After saying that to me, he walked away and began talking to his men, discussing their next step.
I looked behind and saw Thorfinn was gone, he must have wandered off on his own. I too did the same, I grabbed a short sword and a dagger that was left behind by one of the boys,Thors brought along and headed out to the forest.
I started to gather some plants in case they might be useful in the future when I was hit with a sudden surprise.

After getting the skill I began to understand what some of the herbs I gathered were used for. Some were poisonous, while others could be made into medicine.

After about 2 hours of searching and collecting plants, I got another notification.

Now what to do with these. I could eat some to fill myself up but I'd rather eat meat. After thinking for a while I decided to keep the poisonous ones and ones with medicinal properties for later in a satchel bag that I brought along.
After packing things up, it was time to get some dinne, I knew if I went back to the campsite they wouldn't give me anything so I decided to hunt something myself.
After searching for 30 minutes I came across a good size rabbit eatting some grass. I took out my dagger and approached it quietly, when I was within distance I took my shot.
My dagger whisked through the air, claiming the unsuspecting rabbit's life. Meat secured, now it's time to make something nice.
I got to work skinning the rabbit and butchering it cleanly, after that was done I added some herbs that would help to add some flavor.
30 minutes later the dish was finally done. When was the last time I had some actual flavor on my food, in Iceland the food was good but it didn't have any spices or seasonings on it because they were scarce in Iceland and only used for special occasions.
Preparing to take a bite, I heard a rustle in the bushes. I grabbed my sword prepared for a fight, as the figure appeared out of the bushes, it turned out to be Askeladd. He took a seat near me taking a good whiff of the meat.
"Oh man, that smells good, you can't have something like this out in the middle nowhere, guess I'm in for a treat.
Before he could snatch my meat. I sent my dagger at him, forcing him to dodge out of the way, taking back my meat."
"Your a ruthless kid you know that."
"Yeah, well you're a food stealing bastard."
He burst into laughter, at my reply. But the real question is, what's he doing here?
"Onto my real buisness being here, I would like to invite you to become one of my men."
"Why, I'm just a kid, I can't fight."
"Don't try and fool me kid, I can tell how someone is by looking at your face, and your face tells me that your not scared, even when you were aboard that ship. As if you know everything's going to be okay."
