Unless it's absolutely necessary, we don't build anything. And especially not metal buildings—we all hate those," she added, her voice tinged with disdain.
And I couldn't help but think to myself—If you say something like that on Earth, you might get beaten to a pulp. Because such beautifully crafted architecture is something people on Earth would admire, not criticize.
We walked to the Building, and I probably looked like a small child entering a carnival for the first time—fascinated and surprised by everything around me. The girls were looking at me like I was some kind of fool, but I didn't mind them.
As we reached the Gate, the security scanned us before letting us in.
