I said no time after time, over and over again but Pei was adamant, she refused to leave my side.
Mei had heard about it by morning but did not say anything even after I looked at her for help.
I could not take Pei with me, she would be an hindrance. But Mei was not saying anything.
"You can not come." I kept saying.
"Puff wants me to come, do you not, Puff?" She kept insisting.
Puff was not helping matters either, he was always chirping excitedly whenever she would ask if he wants her to join us.
"Are you okay leaving your sister?" I asked her and she shrugged.
"Mei has her ways, I assume, given the way she acts."
This was dumb. Was I really going back and forth with a child when I could literally just freeze her and leave her here?
Ugh, so annoying.
