ZEKE's POV
Silence filled the room, as we all sat there, lost in our own thoughts, running wild through us.
"They have Roman," Seraphina began, breaking the silence.
"They are Roman?" Vaelith questioned, frowning as he continued, "Is Roman not here? Right in front of us? What do you mean by "they have Roman?" At that very moment, a sigh escaped my lips. I couldn't believe what he was asking. Was he getting dumber by the day or what?
Almost instantly, we started hearing sounds — like something shaking. We turned our heads toward the noise, only to see Roman convulsing, his body jerking violently. I could hear it then — low growls, deep and guttural — the sound of a demon. That was it.
