Chapter 129 - Chapter 129

Nick Fury's face turned pale.

The characteristic of adamantium is that once it is shaped, it remains fixed forever. That little brat actually made a brick out of it?!

The boiled egg wanted to vomit blood—this hurt too much!

Tony had a dazed expression. He had already assumed Luke would be unreliable, but he didn't expect him to be this unreliable!

Hill held back her laughter and turned away.

Luke, completely unaware of the different reactions around him, was still immersed in his own excitement. From this moment on, he could proudly announce: My Street Fighter has graduated!

Tears welled up in Luke's eyes...

Looking back at the past, he had spent years grinding but never managed to recover—so tragic. But now? Now, he had a magic weapon in his hands: an adamantium alloy brick!

Someone once said it best: If you're gonna fight, use a brick. Hit someone in the head, and they're done!

Against the Street Fighter's Brick Attack, it didn't matter if you were Hulk or Thor—once that brick landed, you were going down, whether you liked it or not.

That ordinary brick in his storage space could now retire with honor.

Seeing the remaining alloy liquid in the container, Luke felt the urge to embezzle some right then and there.

Unfortunately, Nick Fury was still watching nearby.

Wait a second—why did Fury's face look so off? Was he actually excited after seeing this so-called anti-Hulk plan?

Luke's expression slowly calmed. He coughed lightly and said, "Ahem, trust me, I can control the Hulk with this thing."

Fury's face darkened. After a long pause, he finally spat out, "It better." Then he walked away.

Tony, looking amused, shook his head and left the lab.

What was Luke waiting for? He immediately reached out for the remaining alloy liquid.

"Don't even think about it."

The boiled egg reappeared at the door, staring at Luke with his single eye. He pointed at his own eye, then at Luke.

"I'm watching you."

Luke sighed, awkwardly retracting his hand, a look of regret on his face.

Outside, on the deck of an aircraft carrier, a Quinjet slowly landed.

Black Widow led Bruce Banner onto the deck.

Ever since he had transformed into the Hulk and wreaked havoc in New York last year before going on the run, Banner had spent hundreds of days and nights hiding, always paranoid that his father-in-law, General Ross, would send people after him again.

SHIELD had already located him long ago but hadn't disturbed him. This time, in order to retrieve the Cosmic Cube, Fury had to activate this time bomb.

Banner was well aware of how dangerous he was. That was why he avoided crowded places—he feared his other self might suddenly emerge and hurt people.

But recently, he had gained better control over his anger. He no longer turned green just because of a disagreement.

As soon as he stepped onto the deck, a massive six-meter-tall mecha caught his attention.

He couldn't help but notice it.

"I've seen that machine before. Saw it on TV. Are the Apostles here too?" Banner asked in surprise, pointing at the mecha.

Black Widow pursed her lips, smirking. "You'll see him soon."

Before she could finish her sentence, another Quinjet landed.

Coulson and Captain America, Steve Rogers, stepped off the plane. Coulson directed the agents to unload cargo.

Steve immediately noticed Banner and approached, shaking his hand. The two superheroes got acquainted.

Meanwhile, inside the corridor, Luke happened to pass by and saw agents moving supplies into the storage room.

Among them, a particular item caught his attention.

Captain America's shield!

Luke's eyes practically sparkled.

"Captain America's real body!"

He started wondering—what would happen if he borrowed the shield to build a mecha? Would Cap hunt him down for it?

At that moment, he suddenly felt a slight vibration beneath his feet.

Then, over the ship's broadcast, a voice announced:

"All personnel, clear the deck."

Luke's heart stirred. He knew—the aerospace carrier was about to take off.

When he arrived at the bridge, he saw Nick Fury overseeing the launch.

Not long after he sat down, Steve, Black Widow, and Banner entered.

Steve was momentarily stunned when he saw Luke, then walked past him without paying much attention. He was too focused on the aircraft carrier, which looked eerily similar to the ones from his time in World War II—except aircraft carriers couldn't fly back then.

Black Widow, on the other hand, noticed Luke and nodded at him with a friendly smile.

Banner's eyes immediately locked onto Luke.

He stared blankly for a moment before stepping forward.

Luke looked up and told him, "Those soldiers are really pushing it. Dr. Banner, I support you!"

"Uh… thanks, I guess?" Banner said, confused.

Why were there so many kids here? He had seen several while walking through the corridors.

System prompt: Bruce Banner's favorability +1

Luke mused to himself, The angrier the Hulk gets, the stronger he becomes—there's no limit to his power...

But then a thought struck him.

The system specifically said that Banner's favorability had increased—not Hulk's.

But wasn't Hulk a separate personality?

"Welp, that's like winking at a blind man."

Luke muttered to himself, then lost interest and sat back down, ignoring Banner completely.

The sudden shift in attitude left Banner even more confused.

"All systems are online. All engines operating normally. SHIELD emergency protocol 193.6 has been activated! We've reached the designated altitude, sir!" Hill reported.

Under the disbelieving gazes of both Steve and Banner, the massive aerospace carrier rose from the ocean.

Driven by four enormous turbines, it slowly ascended into the sky.

"Good. Now disappear from the world's radar."

Standing in the center of the bridge, Nick Fury gave the command, exuding his usual strong presence.

"Activate the optical reflection panels," Hill instructed.

With that, the aerospace carrier became invisible, vanishing completely from sight.

"Huh? Optical stealth tech?" Luke muttered. "I thought that first appeared in Spider-Man. Guess I misremembered."

"What are you mumbling about? What do you think?" Fury suddenly asked, walking over.

"It's fine. My stealth tech is better," Luke shamelessly bragged.

"You selling it?" Fury asked.

Luke thought for a moment. "What's your offer?"

"One hundred million dollars."

"Goodbye."

Luke turned and walked off without hesitation.

"One billion dollars," Fury called out behind him.

Luke paused. He reached into his pocket and casually handed Fury a USB drive.

Lowering his voice, he whispered, "The info on here is worth three billion. You decide."

The USB contained the complete list of Hydra's undercover agents in SHIELD, intel that Christina had secured.

Fury's expression shifted. "What's on here? Worth three billion?"

"Take it home and see for yourself," Luke whispered again before switching back to his normal tone.

"Also, only a billion for full stealth tech? You act like it's some cheap-ass cabbage. Five billion, or forget it!"
