Chapter 104 - Chapter 104

The bedroom was quiet, with only the sound of Luke's heavy breathing.

He stared at the skill book in his hand, his brain in a state of slight shutdown, and his small face filled with disbelief.

After a long while, Luke calmed down and quickly flipped through the skill book. The cover of the book was unique—black and gold, with a blooming purple rose on the front.

Luke read it word for word, his eyes wide open. His face alternated between joy and confusion, deep in contemplation.

Finally, he let out a long breath and suddenly said to himself:

"Strange, so strange... It is indeed an awakening skill of the Male Ammunition Specialist, no doubt about it. I actually drew two awakening skills in a row. Oh my God, with this probability, I must be dreaming..."

Having drawn from magic boxes for more than a year, he already knew how rare powerful skills were. Especially awakening skills—they were extremely rare.

In the past year, he had only gotten one—Warlord.

Now that he had two at once, it was no wonder he couldn't believe it. After all, his bloodline in his previous life was very pure. If it was black, broken, or failed, it would definitely not flash and succeed.

To describe him in one sentence: No amount of money can change destiny, and no amount of money can change fate.

But recently, Luke had been so lucky that he had to be on his guard. As the saying goes, when things are out of the ordinary, there must be something wrong. The consciousness of a true non-African was frantically warning him: I'm in trouble, young man!

Luke nodded, then shook his head. His spider sense didn't react, meaning his life wasn't in danger for now. Whatever was behind this, it wasn't an immediate threat to his survival.

"Maybe I'm just overthinking it. Maybe after my rebirth, I succeeded in sneaking across the border in this life, and I've become a European dog... Oh no, I should call myself the European Emperor."

Luke decided to put his mind at ease for the time being and not overthink it. Relaxing and enjoying the moment had always been his nature, both in his past and present lives.

"Black Rose Special Forces... Let's study how to use this skill first. Could it be that it summons four fair-skinned, beautiful, long-legged support soldiers? Or, could it be a manufacturing-type blueprint?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Luke gently slapped the black and gold-plated book with his little hand, and the book responded immediately.

What was different from before was that in the past, when those books were slapped, they would turn into a ball of crystal-clear, fragmented energy that would penetrate his body and be absorbed.

This time, that didn't happen.

Luke was stunned as he felt his hand lighten. The book melted into a pool of black water in the blink of an eye. Then, it quickly shrank and condensed into a black, translucent sphere the size of a tennis ball.

The black object seemed weightless as it gradually floated up toward the ceiling.

Then, the black sphere began expanding rapidly like a sponge absorbing water. When it reached a full meter in diameter, it was suddenly flattened as if by an invisible hand, then stretched, forming a thin black disc in an instant.

The disc was about two or three meters in diameter, its surface pitch black, tightly attached to the ceiling as if a hole had opened. The hole was so deep that even light couldn't penetrate it.

Suddenly, a crack appeared in the black disc, and Luke saw a faint light seeping through.

"This appears to be a tunnel?"

Luke, who had been looking up for a long time, was surprised by what was happening.

Before he could move, he heard four cries in quick succession:

"Ow!"

"Wow—it's so high!"

"Why?!"

"Help!"

Four figures fell out from the black passage one after another.

One by one, they landed on Luke's bed—hitting him directly in the face. He felt something soft pressing on him first, then another, and another, until all four bodies piled on top of him...

In an instant, the black channel closed and disappeared.

Luke was pinned beneath four soft bodies, with only one struggling little hand exposed, waving and scratching at the air.

"Woo, woo, woo..."

His nostrils and mouth were completely blocked by something—he could hardly breathe.

"Hey, where is this? How did we get here?"

"Where's the General?!"

"...?"

"Rozanna, you're crushing me! Get off!"

"Wow! There's someone under us! Amy, Amy, you're sitting on his face. He can't breathe!"

"No wonder I felt so warm down there..."

The four figures finally realized there was a living person beneath them—a small child with short arms and legs, looking rather cute.

Only after they scrambled away did Luke finally catch his breath.

He gasped for air, his little face flushed red.

"Hey... isn't this the General?"

"General! We finally found you!"

"Wait, why did the General become so small? Wow! Why did you all become so small? Amy, Luo Luo, Obi—you all turned into kids?! Wow!! Even I..."

"...?"

Amidst their chatter, Luke finally got a good look at the four figures sitting on his bed—four little girls.

Without exception, they were all around his age.

Luke's mouth had unknowingly fallen open.

His face went blank, like a hippo in heat—his mouth wide open, his eyes darting left and right.

The first little girl on the left had short golden hair, a delicate face, and a pair of small earrings on her cute, dainty earlobes. Her big eyes were filled with curiosity as she stared at him with an intense gaze.

The second little girl had an equally delicate face. She wore a dark green beret, her short brown hair neatly tucked behind her ears, and she gazed at him in confusion.

The third little girl had a rose-colored ponytail tied high and a pair of aviator goggles resting on her forehead. She looked energetic, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she sized him up, looking as if she might pounce on him at any moment.

The fourth little girl on the far right—the one who had just sat on his face—had orange hair and a beautiful orange scarf wrapped around her head. Unlike the others, she was calmly observing the room, her eyes full of thought.

Luke was dumbfounded.

"A book turned into four living people... Is this the manifestation of a Male Ammunition Specialist's awakening? Are these four little girls in front of me really the Black Rose Special Forces? Well, at least it doesn't cost as much as the first two awakening skills. It's essentially free... Cough, cough.

By the way... why do they keep calling me General?"

As he stared at the four strange little girls in front of him, Luke's brain worked at full speed.

At the same time, the girls on the bed started chattering again.
