Konoha's Cryptanalysis Team
Shiho and Yukira had spent the last five days trying to decipher the code on the documents Naruto had brought. Much to their surprise, he had dropped by in his free time and tried to help them while making playful banter to try to keep the atmosphere less tense. "Damn it another dead end. Even when Naruto noticed the slight genjutsu the papers had," said Shiho as she pushed her glasses. "Yeah, I didn't think much of it, but I hate to admit it, whoever did this is a master of using ancient codes we don't have," said Yukira, gaining a smirk as her eyes became determined.
"And I'm going to love deciphering it, plus maybe we could use this opportunity to drop by Naruto's home," she finished, noticing the blush on Shiho. "W-why would we want to go?" asked Shiho, avoiding eye contact with Yukira. "What's this? Don't tell me you are starting to have a crush on him?" said Yukira, but a hint of jealousy flared. "Ah, young love," said Mikotu as he appeared. "Anyways, you girls can both go spend some time with him, try and learn if you two are compatible with him," he finished as he started working on something else as well.
With Naruto
Naruto whistled as he headed deep into the Forest of Death. As he jumped through the trees, he stopped, putting his hand on a tree and closing his eyes, focusing 'One, three, five, six' he thought as he continued on his way. 'Seems like we have attracted someone's attention,' he thought.
"I feel disappointed. Is this Danzo's secret army, the most dangerous group of the village?" thought the fox, sensing what his container had. "They aren't even trying to hide." Boredly looked at any of them. 'Remember, to everyone else we are still a genin in their eyes. Kakashi made sure to keep this a closely guarded secret, and even then they have more experience than me.' thought Naruto, replying to Kurama. He stopped in a small clearing in the forest to turn around and look back where he had come from.
"Ah, I love the smell of Nature in the morning," the jinchuriki said to himself, smiling. Looking towards a dark part of the forest, his smile remained on his face. "You know how annoying it is that they don't even let me take a simple walk through the village," said the Hanyou, leaning against a tree and watching as several figures emerged from the shadows of the forest.
To which the young jinchuriki noticed how his stalkers were wearing outfits similar to the standard Anbu outfits, the only difference was the masks that had no color, which gave the blonde a clue that 'Root Ninjas' thought the Uzumaki, as he saw one of the Anbu of the group approaching him. "Naruto Uzumaki, Danzo-sama requires your presence, surrender, and come in peace, or we will be forced to use force," said the apparent leader with an emotionless voice. The Uzumaki simply crossed his arms, looking at the leader of the Root team.
"Has that ever worked before?" Naruto said, rolling his eyes as he looked at the group leader, who didn't respond. "I guess that's a no," the Uzumaki said, taking the fake Anbu silence as an answer. "This is not a request you can refuse, Uzumaki," said the leader, causing him and the rest of the Root ninjas to draw their tantō swords from their backs and stand on guard.
' Nice warm-up,' thought Uzumaki, lowering his arms and getting into a combat stance. "Why don't we get started?" said the blonde so that his eyes took the shape of the Sharingan and Jogan, which surprised everyone present.
Without warning, Naruto rushed forward when another figure appeared using a tanto to quickly slash at the unsuspecting Root anbu while a kunai appeared in his hand and quickly threw it to another as he made one-handed seals saying "Shadow shuriken jutsu" The three kunai turned into 50 the Root anbu jumped back to see the figure banished as he reappeared behind the root anbu stabbing a sword into his stomach.
Grabbing his body, he used it to block some shurikens aimed at him. He threw the body of the anbu to another, who dodged it, only to be punched by Kakashi. He took out another kunai and threw it using a bit of chakra. After that, an image began to appear, where Kakashi appeared to be thrusting, only for the Anbu to dodge it back. Then, Kakashi did the complete opposite, kicking him on the side as he spun his tanto, moving fluidly, cutting the head.
A Shadow rose from the ground as he protected Naruto, who had engaged with three Anbu. As Naruto took out his sword and started a duel with two of them as his shadow blocked the last fake 'Anbu'. Who tried to move past him, only to be blocked by shurikens that had ninja wire wrapping around him, only to turn into a log as flames traveled down the wire.
While Naruto dodged the combination attacks of the root shinobi, he couldn't help but get some cuts, especially since one had created a clone while the other had genjutsu. As Naruto got his lucky break when he released the genjutsu. Quickly swaping out his sword for an Axe as he threw ten senbons at the shinobi who was trying to attack again with genjutsu, as he cleaved the other one trying to sneak attack him. But Naruto miscalculated and got a deep wound on his arm.
No words were spoken, they both knew Naruto's skill needed to remain unknown to everyone so he wasn't considered a threat too soon, the price Kakashi knew well. As the son of the legendary White-fang of Konohan, and a rising talent in his younger age. He had been put with a strong sensei to protect him from assassination attempts in his life as they saw him as a viable threat to their village's safety. After taking care of them, Kakashi suggested a brawl to see how far he's progressed.
Uchiha compound
The Uzumaki stared blankly at the ceiling and wondered how he had ended up in this situation. A few moments later, he could hear a light humming coming from the kitchen. Getting up from his seat, the blonde soon headed towards the kitchen.
Entering the room, he could find the scene of Mikoto cooking, the raven-haired girl was wearing a blue t-shirt along with some light purple pants, a pair of black ninja sandals, and above all a white apron.
Seeing that, Naruto remembers that while he was returning to his complex, on the way, he met the Uchiha matriarch, who, upon seeing him, could see the woman's concern; she quickly rushed to check him, and the Uzumaki remembered how he just stared as the Uchiha woman checked his wounds.
Which made him somewhat nervous, but what surprised him the most was seeing how, when the Uchiha matriarch finished examining him, she stared at him. Naruto quickly pulled the woman out of her little world to return to reality. Without being able to foresee it, the Uchiha matriarch began to drag him towards her complex. When he asked her why, the raven-haired woman replied that he could not be in public in this condition.
The blonde had to agree, but as he headed towards Mikoto's home, Naruto noticed how the latter looked at him out of the corner of her eye from one moment to the next. Every time she did so, the Hanyou could see that the Sharingan user had a slight blush on her cheeks.
The blonde came out of his memories and found himself next to the woman. "Eto Mikoto-chan, are you sure you don't want me to help you with something?" the Hanyou asked, watching as the Uchiha cut some vegetables.
"You don't have to worry about that Naruto-kun" the raven-haired girl replied as she finished cutting the vegetables "You're my guest today, so let me take care of everything, it's the first time in a long time that someone has accompanied me to eat," said the Uchiha matriarch in a sad tone.
The Hanyou didn't say anything since he knew that the relationship Mikoto and Sasuke had at best would be as acquaintances on good terms, something that the Uzumaki had managed to notice when he started being invited by the Uchiha woman several years ago. Naruto assumed that Sasuke's attitude was due more than anything to the fact of the Uchiha massacre, but unfortunately, little by little, that became more present, causing there to be days when Mikoto simply did not see her son, and that was before Sasuke graduated as a genin.
The Uzumaki couldn't help but frown at that fact but decided to keep his comment to himself, only to see how the raven-haired girl began to serve the plates, which contained a good piece of meat accompanied by rice, boiled potatoes, and salad. Just by smelling the aroma of the dish, the blonde could tell that it was going to taste good. Both the Uchiha and the Uzumaki thanked him for the food and began to eat.
"Wow, this is delicious," Naruto said, making the woman smile. "It's been a long time since I tried your food, Mikoto-chan," the Hanyou said. "Ara, I'm glad to hear that, Naruto-kun," said the Uchiha while also eating from her plate.
Frankly, Kurama's jinchuriki could say that he loved these moments, when he felt that his life was normal. With that in mind, the blonde returned to enjoying the food made by the Uchiha. "I wish I could eat your cooking every day, Mikoto-chan," said the Hanyou, smiling at the woman, who smiled back.
"Well, if I moved to your complex, I could cook this all the time," Mikoto said while laughing lightly at those words.
"Please do, I will welcome you at any time with open arms," said jinchuriki, which made the Uchiha stop for a second, during which the blonde could notice and feel some sadness emanating from the Uchiha matriarch.
"You should be more careful with your words, Naruto-kun. It's not good for you to say things so lightly," Mikoto said in a scolding tone, but the look she gave the blonde told another story.
"I mean it, Mikoto-chan," the blonde declared, smiling at the woman. If you want to come, tell me, and I will open the doors for you at any time. If you have a problem, count on me to solve it," said the Uzumaki, looking at the woman with a warm smile. You can count on my help whenever you want," said the jinchuriki.
Mikoto knew, to a certain extent, the expressions that Uzumaki made when he lied, but at this moment, she couldn't find any of them. Her heart beat faster as she felt the blonde's words resonate in her head.
"Naruto-kun, thank you," said Mikoto, looking at the aforementioned. Soon, the afternoon continued for both the raven-haired female and the jinchuriki, but before they realized it, the blonde noticed that it was already getting late.
"Well, I think it's time to go," said the jinchuriki as he began to leave the place with Mikoto accompanying him towards the exit of her compound.
"I hope you enjoyed your stay here, Naruto-kun," Mikoto said.
"Of course I enjoyed it. I hope to try your food more often, Mikoto-chan," said the Uzumaki, looking at the Uchiha. They looked at each other in the same way, and soon, they hugged.
Each of them was enjoying the warmth of the other, and honestly, the blonde wanted to hit himself for what he was about to say. "See you later, Mikoto-chan," said the Uzumaki in the woman's ear, who hugged him tighter for a moment but slowly moved away from the jinchuriki.
But before she could say anything, the Uchiha felt the blonde kiss her on the cheek and walk away, leaving Mikoto in shock. Slowly, the raven-haired girl touched the place where the blonde had kissed her with her hand so that her cheeks were tinted pink, but she still formed a smile. "See you soon, Naruto-kun," the Uchiha said as she returned to her house.
Unknown location
In a dark room, we see two figures standing on opposite sides. " Here's the funds you wanted, as well as some samples that will help you in your quest. They are rare, but this also helps me, so I don't care as much," said one of the figures. "KUKUKU, I'm sure this will be interesting. You and your organization have been keeping things quiet for a while. I wonder what you are planning. Your knowledge is important for us right now, and it isn't like you aren't benefiting from us," coldly said the other figure as a black portal appeared behind him as he backed away, disappearing. "KUKUKU this is certainly a draw," he said with a wicked smile.
Somewhere else in a cave
A man with an orange spiraled mask appeared, and a black cloak with red clouds engraved on it. He walked a couple of meters until he came across a room, which, upon entering, he saw about nine figures standing in what appeared to be a hand-shaped statue. All the figures wore the same cloak, and above their heads could be seen a statue of a humanoid face, although seen from a certain perspective, the face seemed to be more like a corpse with nine eyes, which were closed, while another feature present was that the statue seemed to be experiencing pure pain.
"Tobi, you're late. You know I'm wasting time," said an almost robotic mechanical voice coming from a short figure. A metal tail protruded from the back, and half of his face was bandaged. "Gomen, Gomen Sasori-senpai, it's just that Tobi had to do something first since Tobi is a good boy," the figure known as Tobi said in a childish voice.
"Damn, this is troublesome, how many rewards could I be collecting right now," said a man who had his entire face covered and was wearing a headband with the figure of the waterfall crossed out on it "And I had recently gotten one that was worth something," he said with reluctance in his voice. "Oh, shut up and stop crying, Kakuzu!" said a guy with white hair and a scythe on his back. "You and your simple worldly attachments, instead, you should be spreading Jashin-sama's name." The white-haired man took out a medallion, which was a circle with a triangle in the middle.
"Shut up, Hidan, or I will kill you," he said, causing a couple of black threads to come out of his mouth while four lumps on his back began to move and grow. "HA! Try it if you want, you bastard. Jashin-sama protects me since I am immortal by his word!!!" Hidan swung his scythe and had a psycho look on his face. "Heh,e this seems interesting, who do you think would win Itachi?" asked a figure that easily reached two meters tall and held some kind of sword wrapped in bandages.
"This is annoying," Itachi said in a one-sided manner, watching the whole situation unfold. "I hope you don't think about joining them, Kisame," Itachi said without looking at the man in question. "Or let's go, it would be fun to participate a little. Besides, Samehada is getting very anxious," he said while the sword on his back began to move. "That's enough!" said a lifeless voice that came from an orange-haired man with several black metal bars on his face, while his eyes shone to reveal a purple color with several circles. "Kakuzu, Hidan, stop this absurd discussion," he said while his eyes shone intensely.
"Hai Leader-sama," said both of them as they returned to their places. "Well, let the meeting begin, Konan," said the leader, and a woman with blue hair, amber eyes, fair skin, a paper flower in her hair, and a piercing on her lower lip stepped forward, looked at each of the members, and began to speak. "This meeting was called to discuss the next steps we are going to take to begin the collection of the 9 Bijus, Zetsu, have you managed to get any information on the whereabouts of the tailed beasts or their Jinchurikis?" the woman asked into the air only for the same Venus flytrap creature to emerge from the ground.
But this one had half of its face like a very, very white-skinned man, while the other half was completely black and had yellow eyes. " At the moment, the Ichibi jinchuriki is in Suna and is the son of the fourth Kasekage, who is Gaara, who will participate in the invasion along with the new village called Otogakure before the Chunnin exams end in Konoha where the Kyubi lives in a few months," said the one now known as Zetsu. As the meeting ended, the only other Uchiha in the world was deep in thought. ' So they're finally going to start moving,' the dark-haired boy thought, looking ahead and sighing. ' I hope you're ready for this, Naruto-kun. I just have to wait for everything to go well. And see you again after so long, Itachi thought as he left the place with an almost unnoticeable joy in his eyes and a light smile. That caught Kisame's attention, but he decided to see where this would go instead of reporting it.
Training ground 7
Team 7 had reunited after Naruto and Sasuke completed their punishments. Now, Kakashi was using his clones to help train each student. He had developed a training regimen for each of them. Seeing Sakura's mate mark surprised him a bit, but he smiled at her happiness.
On one hand, she was building up her strength and stamina, even with Naruto's mate mark, she had to make up years of neglecting her training and preferring to diet and fan over Sasuke, and the only shadow clone she could make was studying medical books. Which Kakashi recommended to her due to Naruto pointing out their lack of a medic-nin. Speaking of which, Naruto had two clones practicing chakra control, another one getting advice from Kakashi on implementing styles to fit his taijutsu or to cover up holes he had shown.
Sasuke, on the other hand, was sparring on the water with one of his clones. But all his students had leaves stuck to their bodies while doing their training. Kakashi had devised this exercise to help them improve their chakra control and expand their reserves. At first, the Uchiha resisted and even tried to argue with Kakashi until Kakashi had had enough and threatened him with not training him until he mastered chakra control; it didn't matter if the council got involved.
He wasn't going to teach him anything if he didn't meet that requirement, which in the end worked and he could see how the Uchiha was using his clan's Taijutsu, the interceptor fist, with his Sharingan activated, which was helping him a little to block the blows that Kakashi's clone was sending him. While Kakashi corrected him, much to the Uchiha's grumbling about a Non-Uchiha knowing his clan's taijutsu.
"Alright, that's enough. Come here," the Silver-hair sensei said, causing his clones to pop as his students looked at him before coming closer to him. "What's wrong, Kakashi-sensei?" asked Sakura, wiping off some sweat and mud as she hugged Naruto's arm.
"Well, I think it's time I started teaching you about nature transformations or different Jutsus in other words" said the Hatake attracting the attention of two of his students, then taking out some scrolls and some chakra papers of which he gave one to Sasuke and Sakura, but not to Naruto as he already knew his elements. 'really' thought Sakura as she already knew Kakashi knew about her since Naruto told him.
"What's wrong, Kakashi? Why doesn't the Dobe have one of these papers?" Sasuke said as he formed a Uchiha-style smile. "Is it that he's not strong enough to do this?" the Uchiha said, trying to psychologically hit the redhead. ' With this I'll crush you damn Dobe and I'll be one step closer to killing him ' he laughed mentally at the thought.
"Sasuke, I already know his Affinities since he already showed good control, I taught him a few," said Kakashi like it was a casual fact. "Since when does the loser have those techniques!!" Sasuke asked/shouted, "And why did you teach them to him instead of me!!" the Uchiha continued while glaring at the Hanyou and gritting his teeth in anger. Kakashi inwardly cursed, thinking he had at least gotten the Uchiha to see the team as a family. But it seemed he still had that damned Superiority-complex towards them.
"First of all, Naruto already demonstrated having the control and chakra to learn them, Secondly, I haven't taught them to you because your control is so bad that you might kill yourself. You're reckless and might've endangered innocents. The stunt you pulled with Sakura just proves my point further." Kakashi said his tone becoming colder with each word as he looked at his student.
"Dobe, I demand that you hand over all those techniques to me right now!!" Sasuke shouted in exasperation. "Damn, Don't you know how to ask for things nicely?" the blonde said making Sasuke more irritated. "If you want me to give them to you first, answer me this: If I show you all the techniques I know, would you give me all the ones you know?" the Uzumaki asked with a mocking smile on his face. "After all, that'll make a fair deal, don't you think so duckybutt?" finished Naruto
"That's not true, all the techniques I know are techniques from my clan and are exclusive to members of the Uchiha clan," the dark-haired man defended himself. "if fire-style jutsus, are unique to the Uchiha clan, then why do I know several users who can throw a fireball and fire-based jutsu, huh?" asked the Hanyou, popping a vein in Sasuke's face. He was about to answer the redhead, but Kakashi got ahead of him.
"Enough!" said Kakashi with a firm voice, putting an end to the dispute between the two genins. "Sasuke, if you're not willing to share your techniques, don't expect others to do it just because you tell them to." Kakashi saw how his student just grunted. "Well, leaving that aside," the silver-haired man spoke again.
As he began to explain how chakra paper works. Kakashi then watched as Sasuke had lightning and fire, something that made the Uchiha smile arrogantly. While Sakura showed she had earth, which earned her some mockery from the Uchiha. But she noticed a seal on her arm, looking at Naruto, who winked at her, making her realize what he had done while she looked at Kakashi, who nodded, then made a sign, so she kept quiet as Sakura nodded, deciding to ask Naruto as their attention returned to Kakashi.
"Good, good, here I have some scrolls for you, study and practice them. I'll see you tomorrow," said Kakashi, eye smiling as he handed a scroll to each of his students before disappearing in a swirl of leaves. Sakura then leaned to Naruto, "So can you tell me now?" she asked. "You should always keep an ace, and the Uchiha would try anything to get more power from you," said Naruto, making Sakura's eyes widen. "So what are you doing now?" he asked as his breath brushed by Sakura's ear, making her flush. "I-i'm going to spend some time with Hinata-chan and Ino-chan," she said. "Oh, and what will you be doing?" he asked with a smirk as they separated. "J-just girl stuff," she said a bit nervously, causing the Uzumaki to nod,
Since, personally, the Hanyou preferred not to have to kill himself, thinking about that kind of thing.
"Okay, send my regards to Ino-chan and Hinata-chan," Naruto said with a smile, to which the pink-haired girl nodded.
"Well, see you later, Naruto-kun," said the Kunoichi of Team 7, who began to run towards the village. The Uzumaki, seeing how his partner was moving away, the redhead took a moment to let out a mental sigh and turned back.
"Hey Sasuke, why not...", the Hanyou stopped when he saw how the Uchiha was already a good distance from his place, which made Naruto sigh ' Kami, I know I promised you Mikoto-chan, but it's very difficult ' the redhead thought remembering the words he had with the older raven-haired Uchiha when he ate with her.
Mini flashback
Meanwhile, Naruto and Mikoto were talking, the latter stared at the blonde, who, seeing that the woman was staring at him, knew that she wanted to tell him something, but didn't know how to say it or touch on the subject she wanted to talk about.
So Naruto smiled as he had an idea to make the raven-haired Uchiha talk.
"You know Mikoto-chan, if you keep looking at me like that, I might misinterpret your look for something else," said the blonde, then laughed lightly, seeing how the woman blushed at the idea and looked away.
Mikoto pouted slightly upon hearing the Hanyou's small laugh, so, overcoming the embarrassed blush in her cheeks, the woman faced the blonde again.
"Naruto-Kun could ask you a favor," said the Uchiha who saw how the blonde looked at her, waiting for what she was going to say. "Could you take care of Sasuke, please?" she said to the Uchiha, which caught the jinchuriki off guard.
"I know you don't get along very well with him and I know he can be very difficult to tolerate in some cases, but I'm still asking you," said the Uchiha matriarch in a tone that Naruto could almost swear the woman was pleading with him, so the Uzumaki had to swallow his hatred towards the other Uchiha, and then speak.
"I'll try, but I can't promise you much," said the blonde, doing it for Mikoto and not for Sasuke, but seeing the smile that the raven-haired Uchiha gave him was something to make the blonde consider the idea. Both continued eating their food while they continued chatting comfortably.
End of Flashback
The Uzumaki stopped thinking about that when he saw Mikoto's second son leave the place without saying anything.
The Hanyou, even knowing that this was going to be the result, simply couldn't avoid a request made by one of the people who mattered most to him, sighing softly, the blonde moved towards the exit of the training camp to head towards his enclosure, to see what his silver-haired master had given him.
' Sometimes I hate that part of me,' Naruto said to himself as he remembered the small promise he had made to the older Uchiha. 'Yeah, but I guess that's what makes you…you,' grumbled Kurama about Uchiha ladies and their mindtricks on his host.
Border of the country of fire
The forest was quiet as the chirping of crickets could be heard in the darkness, then Owl landed on a branch seeing that he was in front of a small clearing that was illuminated by moonlight, but out of nowhere the chirping of the crickets stopped abruptly, so that in front of a tree a figure covered by a black hood landed.
"I see that Danzo still doesn't trust us" the man with the hood looked to the side to see how a Human figure appeared from the shadows that had the upper half of its face covered by what seemed to be a mask "And he only sent one of his puppets, that's something hurtful" said the mysterious man with feigned sadness.
Danzo's puppet was unfazed by the person's words.
"I came to deliver a message personally from Danzo-sama," Root said, approaching the man who laughed in amusement.

"Yes, yes my forces are preparing for the future blow to the leaf, but you have what I requested" said the man with the voice of the Sannin, the clone only made a movement and the Root at his side took out some papers and about three vials of blood, to then give them to the puppet of the Sannin "Excellent"

With Kakashi
As Kakashi appeared in the hokage tower, entering his office, "You called me sir," said Kakashi in a professional tone and standing straighter than when with his team. "You don't mean someone could use this island as a base to get unlimited Summons?" he asked, thinking various outcomes. "Yes, either that or the island has some kind of secret, this is a secret off the records, B-rank, possibly A-rank mission consisted of a three-man squad," said Hiruzen, looking at them. "Can Naruto be on this team?" asked Kakashi. "Yes, but why?" asked the Hokage, looking at Kakashi, hoping he wasn't going to do something stupid.
"For two reasons why? One is that he's one of the promising students, so I'd like for him to get some more experience. The second is that I want him to at least form some bonds with people outside his age group. I doubt that if Naruto wanted to, he would leave the village, and none of the girls he's dating would discourage him," said Kakashi with a bored look which made Hiruzen flinch. "I see, in that case, Tenzo should go with you as the final member. I think it could be helpful," said Hiruzen. As Kakashi nodded, thinking maybe he could be of help and maybe teach Naruto something. "You'll leave tomorrow afternoon," said the hokage as Kakashi left.
Konoha Uchiha Compound Night

Sasuke heard a knock on the door, and seeing that his mother was not in the house because the dark-haired man had left, he decided to go out to see who it was. When he opened the door, he saw one of the council elders, more specifically Homura Mitokado, who had knocked on the door.
"This better be important, old man, I was training," he said indelicately, but the old man didn't say anything.
"Good afternoon, Uchiha-sama," said Homura as he bowed slightly to the raven, who stared with some annoyance at the councilman and member of the council of elders. "I have come to give you some good news," said the Mitokado, which made Sasuke raise an eyebrow.
"You have been placed under the CRA, so I am pleased to inform you that from now on, you may have any woman you ask for," Homura said as he handed a pair of papers to the Uchiha.
Sasuke was initially going to reject it since he wasn't interested in political issues, but the moment he mentioned the last part, he looked and read the papers the councilman had given him.
And seeing what it took to be on the show, the older man was giving him just made him smile.
"I want the ice bitch who is with the damn Dobe" said the Uchiha thinking that this would serve as compensation for his injuries.
"Okay Uchiha-sama, but please, I ask you to see this list, so you can consider it," said Homura while handing the Uchiha other papers, which were a small list where Sasuke noticed that most of the names were civilian women, but what caught his attention were the last three names.
'Hanabi Hyuga, Hana Inuzuka and Ino Yamanaka' thought the dark-haired man, remembering that Naruto spent time with two of them or at least as far as he knew, but for Sasuke those details didn't matter "Very well, old man, I accept the deal" said Sasuke making Homura smile even more.
"Perfect Uchiha-sama, please sign this to make this official," said the councilman, to which the dark-haired man shrugged and signed the paper that the old councilman handed over. "Well, I hope you take our support into account in the future," said the councilman.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," said the Uchiha as he re-entered his house and headed towards his training camp while the war veteran left the place with a smile on his face.
As he walked out of the Uchiha compound, he formed a smile. "Hehehe stupid brat," he said, looking at said paper. Homura formed a seal with his hand and said Kai to reveal a different document. "Now it's just a matter of that little bastard becoming Chunnin," said the glasses councilor.
Homura looked up at the night sky with a satisfied smile. "I can't wait to get my hands on her," the councilman said, licking his lips and forming a dark, unpleasant smile. "Soon things will be as they should have been from the beginning," he whispered as he saw the Mitokado so that no one could hear him.
The next day Team 7 meeting
The genins of Team 7 stood on a bridge. They had been notified that there was a change, and they would be meeting at their usual team place. As Sasuke was annoyed looking at the loser and pathetic fangirl being lovy-dovy in front of him, for his part, he couldn't care less that she wasn't worth him and he would only take her if it would hurt Naruto. Deeply, he knew she was just pretending, and if he gave her a chance, she would dump Naruto. At this moment, Kakashi appeared late as usual, reading his book.

"So who are they?" asked Naruto, surprising them. "Naruto, you were chosen. Here's the scroll. You leave in three hours, so go ahead and pack up," said Kakashi with an eye smile. "WHAT THE DOBE GETS TO GO ON A SECRET MISSION BUT NOT ME AND UCHIHA, ELITE?" yelled Sasuke. "The hokage asked for him, seeing if he was ready," said Kakashi before continuing. "I'll also be on another mission, you two will be training alone or completing d-rank missions until we are back. I'm also assigning you two homework with these scrolls," finished Kakashi with a stern look that gave the genins shiver as they nodded.
With Naruto
Everyone soon departed with Naruto and Sakura leaving together. Sakura had smiled at him, knowing that they would be apart for missions when they got promoted, but still she had hoped it wasn't so soon. Suddenly, she felt Naruto's arms over her as he looked at him. "You ok?" he asked with concern. "Yeah, I was just wishing you didn't leave so soon for another mission alone," said Sakura."This is the life we chose, but how about I make it up to you with a date?" Naruto said with a smile, making Sakura's eyes sparkle.
"You need to get some new weapons aswells you know," said Sakura, having looked at some equipment. "Look who's talking," teased Naruto, but agreed it's been a while since he checked his equipment and saw if he was missing anything. Then he remembered his duel with Tenten, she had been a bit angryhe didn't take her seriously, but they still had time. Soon after, Naruto had created some shadow clones to let his lovers know.
15 minutes later
Naruto was arriving at the gates, noticing Kakashi was talking to a man. The man had short brown hair and black, almond-shaped eyes, wearing the usual Jonin outfit. In addition to that, he has a happuri-style forehead protector that frames his face, similar to that of Tobirama Senju. "Aniki?" Naruto asked, looking at Kakashi with confusion.
"Good, now that everyone is here. Let me start, Naruto, this is Tenzo, he's an Anbu operative, and he'll be accompanying us in this mission. I'm sure you know the mission," both nodded as Tenzo looked at Naruto. "It's good to meet you, Naruto," he said with a smile.
