After Beta Marcellus stopped by and I invited him over for 'drinks' later tonight, I closed the door and began going to work, first getting dressed.
I had eight hours, give or take before evening came, and I think I'd need help to make the potions I had planned to make all this while.
Luckily for me, another knock sounded on the door and I instantly knew who it was.
"Good morning, ma'am." Caroline greeted me with a smile when I opened the door, causing me to smile at her as well.
She stepped into the room while I closed the door and turned around to face her.
"Good morning, Caroline. You seem... Giddy today." I remarked, folding my arms in front of my chest and stepping forward.
She furrowed her eyebrows at first before she waved dismissively. "Oh, I'm not giddy, ma'am. Just... Thrilled and fascinated that you and the Alpha king seem to be getting even closer."
