Lilith stepped outside to meet Liam and Ella, her sleek heels clicking softly against the pavement. Her golden-blonde hair was tied in a neat ponytail, and as always, she looked like a queen dressed for war—flawless, dangerous, and effortlessly stunning. She had gone back to her room briefly to grab something, and in doing so, she ended up crashing into Liam quite literally.
The way the two of them stared at each right now—so close, so intense—was enough to draw suspicion. Neither of them spoke, just gazed in silence as if time had paused between them.
Ella, standing nearby with arms crossed, narrowed her eyes slightly and smirked. "Did I miss anything?"
Liam immediately cleared his throat, awkward but trying to play it cool. "No. Nothing."
Lilith, without even flinching or addressing Ella's remark, simply adjusted the collar of her blazer and said, "Let's go."
Liam raised an eyebrow. No keys? No mention of the car? Something wasn't adding up.
