As Ellyn entered the grand royal dining hall, the scent of fresh bread, roasted meats, and spiced tea filled the air. The long table was already set, and several of her older brothers were lounging in their chairs, halfway through their breakfast.
One of them looked up and smirked.
"Ohhh, here comes the future bride~"
Ellyn stuck her tongue out at him before plopping into her seat with a dramatic "Hmmph!"
Another brother leaned forward with a grin.
"Ahaha~ Ellyna in her kid form again. Or shall we say… Ellyn~?"
"Hmmph!!" she repeated, now crossing her arms.
"Oho~ sulking little brat."
"I'm not a brat!" Ellyn shot back.
"But you look like one," her third brother added, biting into a flaky pastry. "You sure your 'fiancé' isn't into younger girls?"
Ellyn's cheeks puffed, her tail snapping side to side.
"Uncle treats me with respect! Okay!?" she snapped.
The brothers snickered.
Queen Meira, sipping her tea at the head of the table, didn't even look up.
