Fuck... I'm really in that novel... As the cuck too? And what's with this basic system? Pathetic.

No system shop, no quests, no cheats—just this basic template mocking me.

Normally, as a reader, I hate systems... I thought of it as lazy writing. A save for authors who couldn't flesh out a real power structure, but as the victim(transmigrator) systems are a lifesaver...cause I need to actually see my progress, see areas to improve on, and of course, who would turn down a cheat?

Anyway, this is bad... Even if I'm the cuck, why am I in jail, or what I assume it is?

Did the original Anthony snap? Can't blame him. If I walked in on my best friend and fiancée going at it in my bed—let alone the orgy with her mom and sister the chapter later revealed—I'd crash out too. But in this trash story, the "best friend" is the protagonist. I would be seen as the one at fault and immediately get slapped with titles such as controlling, toxic, and jealous. Then the bitch would say that's the reason she left.

That means I'm the villain by default or the 'rival'(but not really, cause the protagonist will always be stronger). So if I'm not the villain and instead the rival I would probably have a shitty 'redemption' arc where I forgive and move on... I will probably say some shitty line to the fiancé that I never loved her and only loved the idea of being with her or some shit. Then probably die after that, cause I'm a stain on their past.

I used to like her. Liked most of the female leads, actually. Until the NTR bomb dropped out of nowhere. No buildup, no warning. Just a fetish-fueled ambush on the reader's sanity. They had plans to wed each other once they reached A rank.

That's why I dropped—cough—why I let it marinate at the scene where Anthony came home early to surprise his fiancée on her birthday.

Only to walk in on the protagonist turning it into a harem orgy.

Classy.

Now here I am, stuck in his rotting life. And in jail? Really? What did this poor bastard do—trash the house? Try to murder the protagonist? Wouldn't blame him, but in this kind of trash plot, the cuck always gets villainized for having a spine.

Perhaps the author was cooking something great... but to me, ntr can never be forgiven.

"Anthony Cain, 24. Noble. He was a decent human being."

No young master arrogance, no hidden villain backstory... just a guy who trained hard, loved harder, and got betrayed in the worst way possible.

Seeing that he is now 24 means that four years have passed. And like any transmigrator, I have to survive, but I lack 4 years' worth of information and the main cast is probably already too strong. This man hasn't progressed at all. When he was at C rank, the protagonist was at B+. I would not be surprised if the protagonist were at A+ or even S rank.

?????

Sigh... I have really transmigrated into a grown ass man's body...sniff... There goes my youth... but it's not so bad...my system is showing the quad question mark under traits... meaning I have a badass skill that's a secret.

But where's the rest of it? No quests? No rewards? No "Congrats, here's a cheat to unfuck your life"?

Typical.

And because I woke up here, following any reasonable plot, something major is going to happen.

I will just give myself a quest. I should get out of here.

DING!!

Quest Unlocked: Get out of Jail.

No way... I should get something to eat.

DING!!

Quest Unlocked: Get food.

So quests are unlocked based on objective... it still does not show a reward? Is it some kind of notepad?

Sigh... let's forget it for now.

How the hell does this place even function?

I'd seen a few plates stacked in the corner. in four years in here, and that's all he got? No way. There had to be mechanisms—this novel's author loved overengineering useless shit.

*******************************

Anthony ran his hands along the cold stone walls, pressing and probing every inch. Minutes stretched into what felt like hours, his fingers growing numb from the effort. Just as frustration threatened to overwhelm him, a magic circle shone, and a section of the wall gave way beneath his palm, then a subtle protrusion, barely noticeable. With a quiet click, a tray slid out, bearing a meager meal: rice, potatoes, and a handful of boiled greens. Cold. Unappetizing. But food.

He placed the tray on his cot and resumed his search, driven by a mix of curiosity and desperation.

One by one, the prison's hidden functions revealed themselves:

A small garbage disposal chute, seamlessly embedded in the wall.

A shower mechanism in the bathroom corner, complete with a dryer.

A laundry system, its compartment already stocked with folded garments.

Even a floor-cleaning panel, humming to life at the activation of a mana circle.

Anthony stared at the intricate designs, a bitter realization settling over him. Now I feel stupid... he thought as he remembered using the tap and bucket to bathe.

The prison was disturbingly humane—no rusted bars, no screaming inmates, just eerie efficiency. He ate his meal in silence, the bland taste doing little to distract from the gnawing boredom. After disposing of the tray, he slumped onto the bed, gaze fixed on the ceiling.

There's no door mechanism, and the gaps have no paths. Possibly because of the mechanism. To make it worse, I came after the ntr ... Whoever brought me here should at least have brought me earlier to prepare and get strong(avoid the ntr route).

I'm losing my mind in here.

He was bored.

A darkly amused thought crossed his mind: Maybe I should try the Saitama method. A thousand push-ups a day until the plot remembers I exist.
