Sonic says as flies through a bunch of air rings and then lands on a higher floor of the race track, Shade just grinded ahead of him but he is more excited at the better competition, 'I got some tough competition it seems.' A grin runs across Sonic's face as he uses a bunch of booster pads to increase his speed even further while hording all the rings on the higher level.
" It seems nizo is collecting rings to maximize his gp gauge, shade is trying to fill her gear's gp while Knuckles and tails are going head to head with each other for the items, the detective trio seems to have teamed up while augus the blacksmith seems to have discovered a shortcut. OHHH, participant Nizo seems to have activated Gravity dive and is dashing down the slope and full speed." The announcer comments.
Sonic zooms down the track at high speed and attached a weight to shade as he passed her but she just activated attack and begins running herself, she finds a nearby bounce pad and full sends the duration of the weight while using the spring. "Not so fast" Shade says and uses the ring boost she just got from a item box and trails behind Sonic at near equal speed. They both perform a bunch of tricks and activate zero gravity to avoid a bunch of obstacle filled areas while collecting even more rings. Meanwhile Knuckles, tails and augus have teamed up against the detective trio and are full on war with each other. "Eat this" screams knuckles as he uses a shield and hits vector from side and made him hit a bunch of barricades and augus is throwing anything he could get on charmy, Espio and Tails however seems to planning something among themselves. "Why don't we call it a truce and catch up to those top 2 first?" "I don't mind." While acting as if they are trying to push eachother, tails and espio gathered rings,gp and a speed boosts and both turns to the other 4. "We will going ahead" "meet you at the finish." They both give 'Gotta go' sign by placing their hand on their foreheads and activate their gears modes.
"Did we just get bamboozled?" " I think so" vector and Knuckles stare at each other, nods and together roars in sync " NOT TODAY TRAITORS" the four have changed from a 2v2 to 4v2 situation as they begin supporting eachother to catch up to tails and espio. Just as they were about to bombard them a robotic voice echoes in the track. " Duration reached: activate mayhem." The track changes as new boosts and items appear, drones comes out of the walls and begins flying towards the starting line across the track and soon the entire track has become living minefield. Sonic and Shade as the first placers has to witness pillars emerging out of the ground, drones coming opposite them like crazy and even booster that sends them straight into Obstacles.

"Amy do you see that guy?" Blaze says to Amy and Amy° as they they all sit in a couch and look into the live screen, Sonic° is eating chilidogs and annoying Shadow while silver seems to be asleep and mumbling about in his dreams. "What about him?" Amy° replies and recieves a stare from both Amy and blaze, "he seems to look like Sonic" "Yes he does." "Did he lie to us about getting busy with the war about taking the master emerald?" Amy and blaze look at each other with fury bubbling in their minds. "Why would he? It's not like he can connect the emeralds within a weak now can he? It took us 2 full months with Chaos's help." Amy° remarks which sounds completely logical to the two, they sigh in relief and begins laughing.
"Still you haven't yet told us about your date with shadow have you? How was it?" Amy asks to Amy° who becomes red like a tomato and grabs her knees, "It was alright, we actually got married a week ago" she says nervously and got a gasp from both others. "He agreed? I envy you, we have barely spended time with our husband and he ain't even married us yet." "He just keeps getting into trouble left and right, sometimes he goes on bounty hunting missions some times he goes to war... I hate it." Amy clutches her hammer before Amy° reflected the conversation about what the next race will be like.

"This is bs•. How am I supposed to dodge these without speed boosts." Sonic says as he looks at the cannonballs being shot at him from all sides, he and shade are dancing between them by ducking, jumping and even going prone on the gear while hording items whenever they see one. they are half a lap ahead of everyone and in the final lap, Tails and espio are far behind after the squad brutally bombarded the traitors with bombs and slams, the squad has overtaken the two but are now eating the cannonballs just like the two of them which is exactly what espio and tails planned. Sonic watches a side path in the wall somewhere in the distance and made up a plan to enter it, he full activates his speed circles over the walls before coming back and slamming into Shade who got knocked onto booster and straight onto a rail while he used the recoil to enter the small path and activates a shield to guard against a bomb Shade threw at him. She grits her teeth in anger and quickly activates her grind mode and begins using the rails, fortunately she has just maxed the rings and her gp while also getting a speed boost from the item block and surpassed even the max speed of the gear for a second.
Meanwhile Sonic also uses his everything and launches himself like a bullet out of the tunnel filled with Speed boosters and like a bird he begins gliding at high speed and finished his final lap few seconds late. He slows down as he looks around while getting of the gear and after a wave of hand towards the audiance goes into the resting rooms.

"Didn't expect the race will be more frustrating than the gallard, I almost became a karen when they started unloading the cannons" Sonic says to himself as he drinks a glass of water and removes his mask after confirming there is no camera there. "Sonic.." from came a somewhat angry and annoyed voice, Sonic turns to find Shade looking at him with her hands crossed while her feet taps the ground rapidly, just as Sonic begins backing away shade brings out a blue chaos emerald and uses "Chaos control:Warp" as she quickly grabs Sonic by the shoulder and both of them get teleported away. Tails and espio came in next second, tails looks around to find his sister but no avail and just silently moves to a seat and sits down while espio brings him a glass of juice "We played those muscle brains good. Cheers" "Cheers" tails and espio tap their glasses together and begins drinking.
