Sonic looks at the towering being of darkness that seems to corrupt existence itself. Gallard has become a living swirling storm of parasitic swarm of darkness. Anything that comes in contact gets pulled and devoured before being crushed.

Sonic wields the 4 swords(5 if you consider both blades of Talos as different) as a expert. In his hands are caliburn who just transformed into excalibur and argus in other. Oberon and Talos are floating behind him(like flying swords from wuxia novels)

The swarm comes at Sonic in full force and tears away a entire block of the city but he uses Excalibur's light attribute to resist it, Oberon comes and begins devouring the swarm itself. Sonic rushes forward as the swarm retreats, he charges excalibur and attacks with a light blade that splits the hand into two, using argus's immortality he begins rushing from inside the arm while destroying any parasite that comes his way, frustrated gallard slams his other hand into the ground and a bunch of tangible shadows begin zooming at Sonic, taking the moment he activates lightspeed and completely rips through gallard,coming out from back of his neck before raising excalibur towards the sky.
Sonic: Judgement cut: true light blade.
Excalibur grows before it's edge begans glowing golden, with a downward sweep a gigantic tsunami like wave of light drowns Gallard, splitting him into two halves.
Gallard: THAT HURT YOU BASTARD.
The two halves rejoin through smaller in size, in return for lesser power and defence, he has gained more speed but he knows damn well that he can't win in a battle of speed.
Gallard: Shadows and darkness heed my call.
Thousands of shadows begin converging towards Gallard, the sky gets covered in darkness of a untimely night and hides the sun behind it.
Sonic looks at Gallard and smirks, he sidesteps and appears behind gallard who had just used a magic called gate of darkness to appear above Sonic.

With a flurry of slashes the swarm body of Gallard burns and seperates, a major part of the swarm was devoured by Oberon when they cut through.
Oberon: What is feast this is!! Why can't we fight beings like these anyway.(Yes beings, it's a hivemind technically) They make up for a good lunch.
Gallard: You have become faster.
Sonic: And you have grown weaker.
Gallard: Cocky punk, parry this you filthy scum. CAGE OF ETERNITY: VOID
Gallard drags himself and The space nearby into a endless sea of darkness. Sonic with the radiant light of excalibur becomes a shining star in the endless void.
Gallard: How is it? My view of the hell you imprisoned me in for thousands of years.
Sonic: Suits your ugly personality. I gave you a chance to change by sending you there when i could have just erased you through the star canvas.
Gallard: You could have imprisoned me in the tower of wisdom or cells of endless artic but you sended me to this bloody place for just one small crime.
Sonic: Do you seriously think selling a entire ambush strategy to fallens for mere souls was a small crime? WE LOST THE ORION BECAUSE OF YOU.
Gallard: This is going nowhere and we know it there is no turning back. Let's end this here and right now.
Sonic: For once I agree with your foul and greedy mouth. I wish you suffer alot among the others in the afterlife.
Gallard: You mean the Leviathan's stomach? That will be place I was gonna send you. Endless Darkness... Lifeless solitude.
The entire void becomes the source of power for Gallard as he turns himself into a living embodiment of void. He has become one with imaginary void itself and turns into a monstrosity of unknown size.

The Excalibur glows before turning into a tangible mass of Solid light, A Yellow halo appears above Sonic's head and turns into a white glowing cape and crown.
Sonic: Just like those times.
Thousands of light swords hover next to him as he slowly raises Excalibur with his hand and with a quick instant downward sweep the entire void gets engulfed in blinding light that may blind you if you stare directly at it.
The space returns to normal and the endless Darkness gets purified out of existence, Sonic gracefully lands on the ground while returning Every sword to the necklace. He slowly strides forward and reaches the middle of the crator where the castle of the king was supposed to be.
Sonic: You still survived.
Sonic says as he looks at the dying Platypus laying down on a pile of rubble.
Wonder: So you won... I. Have no.. regrets leaving.. this *coughs* Empire. To. You.
With the last bits of power he could gather, the dying king gave a smile to Sonic as he falls into eternal slumber.
Sonic: Only if you tried to put as much effort into punishing the greedy nobles, then maybe you could have reached a better end. Maybe looking over this world from the emerald will relieve you a little.
(For those wonder if he can revive him, no. His soul is connected to the master emerald and instantly got transferred into it as the new emerald will on his death.)

From the sides, the blades came dashing towards Sonic and lunged into a hug.
Lupin: You scared us there, what was that thing anyway?

One by one everyone got away until two people were left still grabbing onto Sonic with their eyes closed and immersed into their own happiness.Sonic grabs Olivia and Liona by the collars and warps them far away into the ship.

Sonic instantly left before anybody could answer and begins cleaning the rubble to find the master emerald deep below heeps of garbage. He comes across a sealed chamber which survived the onslaught and enters.

To his side is a liquid pod with a person inside, the person looks like him but with a hint of pink colour on his head and arms just like the red marks on shadow.
