In the end, Rowan couldn't stand the Wachowski brothers' pestering and agreed to reserve time to work with them.

Rowan didn't want to get involved with these two problematic guys in public.

But then again, The Matrix by the Wachowski brothers is really entertaining.

The comic storyboard was a great idea, giving Rowan an intuitive understanding of the Wachowski brothers' vision of The Matrix.

Rowan was very interested in the idea of "unique slow-motion shots" proposed by the Wachowski brothers, and he could not resist the attraction of this black technology copy.

Anyway, apart from thinking about becoming a boss next year, most of his schedules are not confirmed yet, so he might as well take some time to learn.

"This will definitely surprise you."

The Wachowski brothers confidently handed Rowan some information: "You can take a look at these, and let's discuss what you think."

Rowan agreed on the surface, thinking in his heart that only a devil would want to communicate with you.

Now the party has reached the dancing stage.

Rowan returned to Mary.

After politely rejecting a young actress, Rowan looked at Mary who had also rejected someone else.

Rowan: "One dance?"

Mary thought about it and agreed.

Just then another slow song started playing.

Rowan put his arm around her waist and swayed to the beat.

As he walked, he could feel Mary's black hair brushing against him from time to time. The last time he felt this was when he was Zorro.

However, compared with Elena, Zorro's wife, she lacks the comfortable sense of oppression that is neither too heavy nor too Iight.

Rowan diverted attention: "So they weren't red hair? Did you Dye is back."

Mary shook her head: "My hair color were actually black."

Rowan said sincerely: "They are all very beautiful."

"Thanks."

Mary responded a little absentmindedly.

After the song is over, the process is almost complete.

Rowan had no intention of hunting for beauties at the party, and since Mary was about to go back, he took his agent away.

This was his first time at his agent's home, a mansion in Beverly Hills.

The big iron gate is flanked by an arched door design with Roman columns. The ivory-white exterior wall extends all the way, and the world behind is blocked by a well-trimmed green wall, which meets all the fantasies of a luxury house.

Mary didn't get out of the car immediately. She sat in the passenger seat and looked at him sideways: "Are you going to be the director after coming back from promoting Life is beautiful?"

Rowan nodded: "That's the plan for now."

Mary exclaimed: "You are very courageous."

Rowan always felt that there was something else behind her words.

He shrugged, "I've only been in the industry for less than a year. If I fail, I'll just try again. And I'm planning to make 'This Man Came From Earth'. I estimate the cost of this film will not exceed $100,000. It doesn't matter if I fail. I'll just treat it as practice."

Mary thought so too.

With amount of money Rowan has earned, a trial investment of $100,000 is nothing.

She didn't talk about it anymore and started talking about other film contracts.

After chatting for half an hour, the door slowly moved away, a housekeeper came out, and then Mary got out of the car and left.

Rowan looked at her back for a while, nodded to the housekeeper who saluted, and slowly drove home.

Rowan took off his coat and walked in with the briefcase and went straight to bathroom to take a shower.

By the time Rowan opened the information given by the Wachowski brothers, it was almost ten o'clock in the evening.

Lying on the bed, Rowan watched casually.

When it comes to philosophy, he isn't the best but his understanding but he is still better than those actors who barely graduated highschool. But he wanted to discuss it with someone and could only disturb Mary and started talking with her

"The information contains a brief script outline and quotes."

Rowan laughed: "The Wachowski brothers were quite open and honest when they said that the idea borrowed several plot elements from the 1973 German TV miniseries Weltam Draht (The World on the Wire)."

Mary asked "Including a computer-simulated world whose inhabitants are indistinguishable from real ones?"

"A unique self-aware computer progra m that can recognize the artificial nature of the simulated world and understand the existence of the real world."

"People from the real world enter the simulation as their avatar and make a phone call back to the real world... It's pretty interesting."

Rowan smiled "I think the most interesting concept of the Wachowski brothers is not the philosophical depth, but the unique slow motion technology they named 'bullet time'."

Mary shook her head : "People who study mathematics and biology are interested in technology."

Rowan did not refute and looked at the information with interest.

This technology also has its originators.

The first time it appeared was in a commercial for an insurance company.

This is just a creative prototype.

Architectural graphic artist Matthew Bannister suggested in his academic work that it was possible to separate motion and time in video, and proposed a device similar to that used in film, although the technology at the time did not allow this effect.

This was followed by artist Tim MacMillan, who demonstrated the technique on television in England in 1993.

This videotape was included in the information provided by the Wachowski brothers.

Rowan inserted the videotape and could just make out something through the Iousy picture quality.

"There's something."

Rowan touched his chin and said, "It's hard to say how the movie is. The Wachowski brothers are good at fooling people with their cases."

"But this brain is too...intoxicated by art, isn't it?"

When Rowan saw the Wachowski brothers' private works at the back, the corners of his mouth twitched.

This private object is a character from The Matrix.

When entering the virtual world, he changed his gender to become a female, but in the real world he is actually a male.

The Wachowski brothers called this the concept of 'residual self-image' and felt that this transgender metaphor had great artistic depth.

But it was rejected by Warner Bros., who simply made the character intentionally neutral.

Warner Bros.: Transgender people are not as interesting as the cute girl with the big hook! (Not really)

It feels bad that the Wachowski brothers were so private.

Rowan thought they had something seriously wrong with their brains.

This is not the way to pursue depth.

It's useless if you can't even tell a deep story.

Rowan closed the information and said, "That is to say, the Wachowski brother s are still new directors. If they want to achieve the same results as Michael Bay, we don't know what they will become."

Mary asked "You don't want to watch the rest?"

"No I won't watch it, it's all the Wachowski brothers' private goods, it's a waste of time to watch it."

Rowan continued "It's more important to go to bed early!"

Rowan turned off the lights and put the information aside.

He didn't plan to make any further preparations and would just treat this work as triggering a dungeon.
