Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Feelings and Desperate

A Helpless King:

Hylos's eyes widened in shock as the masked man continued to caress him while they lay submerged in the water.

"Ah, don't.... How dare you," Hylos whispered, his voice growing weaker with each passing moment, his body betraying his mind as he succumbed to the pleasure.

Despite his attempts to resist, Hylos felt his defenses crumbling, his body responding to the masked man's touch. The sensation was overwhelming, leaving him breathless and helpless.

The masked man kissed Hylos again, holding him tightly as Hylos seethed with anger. Hylos's frustration boiled over, and he let out another loud cry for help.

This time, his desperate call was heard by the palace guards, who rushed to his aid. The masked man swiftly silenced Hylos by striking him on the chin, rendering him unconscious.

The masked man quickly emerged from the water and vanished into the shadows, leaving Hylos floating alone in the pond, his body limp and lifeless.

Hylos was swiftly retrieved from the water by his guards, who were shocked to find their king naked and unconscious.

The next morning, Hylos woke up in his grand bed, with Ajah sitting beside him, reading a book. "Oh, you're awake. What happened to you in the garden?" Ajah asked, looking up from his book.

Hylos's face was twisted in anger, his eyes blazing with fury. "That beast! Tell everyone to be on high alert and guard the entire palace," Hylos growled, his clenched fists seeming to tremble with rage.

...

In the palace's grand hall, the servants were on edge due to the increased security presence. Meanwhile, in the small quarters of the servants, a mysterious figure clad in black attire and a mask slipped in unnoticed, as if he had been there since dawn.

He removed his mask, revealing none other than Iras, his face etched with sorrow. He sat down by the door, his eyes cast downward.

"I've become an animal, ah..'unbearable," Iras whispered to himself, his voice laced with anguish.

And There was a knock at the door, and Iras opened it to find Rabik standing outside. "Brother, you're the one..." Rabik began to say, but Iras quickly covered his mouth.

"I already know what you're going to say," Iras said, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of sadness and resignation.

Rabik entered the room and stood before Iras, who remained seated on the floor. "You still love him, don't you? Do you know that the palace guards are searching for the person who attacked the king, and it was you?" Rabik asked, his voice laced with concern and worry for his brother's well-being.

Iras sat on the floor, his eyes filled with sorrow. "I don't know ," he whispered, his voice trembling.

Rabik wrapped his arms around Iras, offering comfort. "Forget about him, brother. He's a traitor. He's the reason our former king, died."

Iras's eyes widened in shock as he processed Rabik's words. The revelation sparked a mix of emotions within him, and he felt his world crumbling around him.

A Royal Outrage:

Hylos sat deep in thought, his eyes narrowed, and his brow furrowed. His hand clenched into a fist, as if he was grappling with a difficult decision.

Just then, Ashira burst into the room, rushing to Hylos's side. "What I heard about the attack on you, Your Majesty, is it true?" Ashira asked, his voice laced with concern.

Hylos poured himself a drink and took a sip before responding. "I don't know who he was; his face was covered. But when I find out, I'm sure I cut his head," Hylos declared, his voice dripping with venom.

Ajah, seated in the middle of the room, chuckled at Hylos's outburst. "What did he do to you, anyway? You're not hurt; there's not a scratch on you," Ajah asked, his curiosity piqued.

Hylos's expression turned thoughtful, and a hint of embarrassment crept into his voice. "That's not the point. What he did was a grave offense."

Ajah raised an eyebrow, sensing that there was more to the story than Hylos was letting on. "I see," Ajah said, his tone measured. "And what, exactly, did this masked stranger do to warrant such severity?"

Hylos's face darkened, and he clenched his jaw. "Let's just say he overstepped his bounds. I'll deal with him when the time comes."
