Chapter 121 - CHAPTER 121

The rain was pouring down heavily on Alexis who stood before the casket that was yet to be rolled into the ground. She was clad in a black pair of black pants and a shirt, and standing behind her were others. Augustus, Amora, Kaelis, Koena, and even Lorcan. 

The man looked uncomfortable standing under the heavily pouring rain, but he wasn't complaining. 

Alexis stared at her mother's well-dressed corpse. Once the casket was rolled onto the ground, she was never going to see her ever again. The only thing she would ever possibly ever possibly have to remember her face was a picture. 

"Kid…" Sereia rubbed up against her leg, wanting to comfort her, and Alexis whose eyes were a teary mess in silence lowered her gaze to her and half smiled. 

"I'm okay," she said. 

She turned to those behind her. "You can put in your flowers."
