Here In the center of the flower field is an oval shaped open space, as large as a tenth of the australia continent.
Bordered and surrounded by the colorful flower field worshipping its holiness, the atmosphere here is saturated with ether breezing abundantly and lavishly across its entirety.
And across this secluded and sacred land is a river of about two kilometers in width flowing gently and silently, while blessing its surrounding with a blue colored nightly illumination its surface reflects.
Skylar exiting the flower field, his step from a ground of precious stones to a bed of yellow flower grass, saw the familiar presence at the other side of the glittering and sparkling river reflecting perfectly the glories of the heaven beyond it, drink from its water with a fantastical elegance.
Is this the reason, i did not sense any living creature here, or this place just don't allow it...
"Hello, big guy." Skylar yelled at the creature at the other side.
The creature, a colossal white wolf with silver streaks, so big and tall, its black shiny nail Skylar could already see when he was in the flower garden, continue its act of drinking from the river, ignoring the rude creature at the other side.
I am happy its someone i can talk to... i need direction, i am kind of getting lost... Skylar smiled, not bothered about the wolf's attitude.
I should have follow the instructions that time... He moved closer to the edge of the rivers, his bare feet stepping on yellow flowers that carpet the ground till the edge of the river.
"Young one, you shouldn't be here" A seductive and mature femine voice that seems to come from a young mother worry for her child, and that will make any man yield in spirit and flesh echoed in Skylar's mind.
"Wow!", its a she... Skylar marveled at the creature's voice that almost triggered the residue of the green serpent's unholy aura in his depth.
"I need directions." He stared at the enchanting eyes of the creature looking at him. Her iris, a ruby ring housing a jewel-like pupil that reflects sky-blue glitters like stars.
"How did you make it here?" Once again her tempting voice echoed in Skylar head, pulling some triggers. And because of the subtle effect of the voice, Skylar scrunched his face instinctively.
"..." He sighed, lower his head, then stare again at the oblivious creature. "Its easy. I have a map that marks out a safe route. And with my perception i can avoid majority of the creatures out there, and those i can't avoid, have luckily been way bigger than me, just like you... So you know, my meat is definitely too small to enter their eyes." Well i relied too much on luck, and even if i die, i will just respawn where i died after three real world days. Its not like its a game over situation, and the penalty which is a hundred gold coin shouldn't be a problem for now...
After Skylar narration, she stared intently at him, while her body seems to glow faintly. "Young one, you are very brave." Her voice, a bit tamed this time echoed in Skylar's mind.
"So do you know the direction to this place called the 'fallen testament'?" Skylar requested, his eyes on her.
"If you cross the river, and continue on a straight path you should reach it, and that is if you know what it looks like." She transmitted her human voice to Skylar's mind, after which she seems to have sniggered according to Skylar's judgment.
"Oh..." Skylar nodded at her reply. He refastned his sack behind him and took few steps backward.
"Young one doing that is very dangerous" She anticipated Skylar's action and warned him in her usual motherly and sensual voice.
Skylar ignored the warning and suddenly his figure at top speed run towards the river.
Shortly after, his figure glowing with a spiritual green light and maintaining its top speed, made its first step on the blue water and like he wouldn't sink he continue to run on the water while living behind a rainbow spark wherever his sole made contact with the blue water thereby creating a stunning trace of his path on the water.
Cowards, i can bet none of you dare... With a smile on his face while he sprints on the water, he sneered at the powerful jittery creatures inside the water that can't decide if to attack the disrespectful creature above that's obviously taunting them with his showy footwork and the sneer on his face.
Very similar... Mobs will always wait for someone brave to make the first move so that they can then follow after passionately. But it seems among these guys there is no single brave idiot... From a very high jump across the rest of the river, Skylar landed on land at the other side where the she-wolf is and on his self, he has an obvious expression and a countenance that seem like he has done nothing dangerous at all.
"You are truly brave." The voice of the she-wolf welcome Skylar who arrived in style before her front paw.
"Thanks for the help." Skylar drew closer to her feet which is obviously a lot taller than him. Then he placed his hands on her snow white fur which from a closer look has silver fringes and not silver streaks.
"Big sis, what are you doing here?" Patting her fur delicately, Skylar looked up at the half a kilometer tall beautiful beast.
"I am looking for a certain herb." The moment her voice reached Skylar's mind while he still pats the wolf's glossy and velvety fur tenderly, an image of a herb appeared in his mind like he saw it as a reflection on the puddle of water in front of him.
I have seen that before. I am very certain... He thought while still patting the she-wolf.
"Its to help cure my junior brothers. They encountered a strange flower creature that damaged their soul and essence." She added kind of pleadingly while looking at the enigmatic creature below her and like she expected something from him.
I thought as much. She is definitely related to those stupid wolf brothers. But did they just easily fall for something so obvious...
"Did your brothers by any means provoke the flower first?" Skylar asked after he rolled his eyes for a reason known only to him.
"I know how much trouble they can cause..."
Of course. They are looking for trouble right, left and center...
"... And because of that, i have always had to be physical with them when dealing with them..."
Is there a chance you are stronger than them put together...
"... There was even a time i have to lock them up..."
Okay sure, you are definitely stronger...
"... But they still find a way out and run away from the village for a very long time, that there disappearance even caused a panic among the elders..."
Maybe that has to do with the lair or that cunny green serpent...
"I have its fruit and not the plant itself." Skylar cut off the nagging she-wolf.
"Yes! Yes! That's exactly what i want." Excitedly the she-wolf reacted, and her voice this time a bit more sensual.
Skylar took a deep breath, disengage from the she-wolf and raised his head at her. "Let's make a trade, you will take me to fallen testament..." Skylar paused, he looked at the she-wolf whose aura has clearly shifted and asked. "Is there a problem?"
"Are you also after that bird?" She asked while staring intently at Skylar.
"Yes." How did she know that, or is that bird very popular... " He replied monotonously while donning a thoughtful look.
The she-wolf after Skylar replied raised her head to the side, at the north specifically briefly, and after that, she turned to Skylar and while looking at him transmitted her voice to his mind like she has always been doing. "I can take you there but i won't get close to the place..."
"Its ok, as long as it is close enough." Skylar with a smile assured her and this made her regain her earlier composure.
"..." Suddenly before Skylar could process a thing, he found himself on a white and silver bed of radiant silk.
Wow, so warm and fragrant... He thought while rolling on it and sniffing it.
"Love..." A voice in Skylar's mind put an end to his mild intoxication as he look up in surprise. "... Hold tightly. I will have to leap through space, and it might be a little dangerous."
"Okay." Skylar, after the instruction of the voice from the she-wolf sat up in a lotus position, wrap himself with more layers of natural energy and glue himself with it to the back of the she-wolf where he is.
Then the she-wolf after her eyes reflected this, turned to the side facing north.
"Love, here i go." Suddenly and before Skylar could process her message the world around him like a curtain being pulled off forcefully from another dimension, faded into nothingness, and was instantantly replaced by a cold and empty void.
Next, he saw like a transcedental painter who finished his works in split seconds, an exotic pictures in series bordering each other materalize suddenly and occupy the void left behind fittingly.
And after this, like someone looking at a train moving extremely slow, he saw the series of picture joined together side by side, move backward relative to the direction he think he faced, and as he try to go beyond the limit of hyper focus to truly see the truth, he saw everything he has seen before like they exist simultaneously all got dragged irresistably into a darkness- like a black hole that took over the world suddenly and domineeringly.
What.....
"We are here." The she-wolf voice like a command in his mind woke him up from his embarrassing stupor and at the same time the suspended world resumed its familiar dance and chatter.
That was crazy. I am sure everything happened in less than five seconds... Skylar looked up at the sky of his destination ahead of him. A sky of swirling multicolored milky cloud coated with a bright golden light as it spiral right over the megalithic structure in the distance.
"Beautiful..." Skylar still on the back of the she-wolf observed the structure. A misty gigantic conical mountain with a flat top supporting on its top several pillar-shaped golden rocks of heights about four times its own height and arranged in a ring around its edges as they encircle a black structure in their middle which is aiming far above them for the center of the spiral and multicolor milky cloud.
"Is that where i will find the bird?" He asked while looking below at the plain of golden sand that extends to and probably encircle the misty structure with a golden brilliance.
"Love you have to be careful. The bird is not that simple." The she-wolf warned Skylar who with great focus has squinted his eyes trained on the sky of the structure that is starting to undergo a noticeable change.
Something his brewing up there... Suddenly Skylar's figure jumped to the ground from the back of the She-wolf. He moved close to her and placed beside her, three heart-shaped purple fruit with a strange pattern, he romved from his sack. "If you need more find a place called flower mountain. Its in that region that reflects everything." He pointed south then balanced his sack on his back.
"Thank you, just one is enough" The she-wolf transmitted her voice to his mind. Then he smiled in acknowledgement, moved closer to her front paw and start patting it again tenderly while his eyes remained closed in intoxication
i can pat this forever... It feels so heavenly... He thought as a mystical silence descend on them and bind them like they both agreed it lasted forever.
That's gonna be a problem... A rumble from the structure interrupted their strange communion. Then suddenly, Skylar disengaged from the she-wolf and his figure starts to glow green as he look up at her.
"Big sis, i am going, i will visit your tribe later." Not waiting for a reply his figure streak across a white path on the golden plain which leads obviously to the top of the conical mountain, the heart of the structure where a rain of golden lightning is now pouring on.
"Love, be very careful when you encounter other intelligent creatures..." The she-wolf transmitted her sensual voice which did not completely reach him to his mind, and as she watched with her enchanting eyes, his green figure like that of an ant streaking like lightning and standing out domineeringly on the white heart of the golden plain that leads to the stormy heart of 'fallen testament', she seems to smile lovingly or foolishly.
"He is gone already, there is no more patting..." A random voice echoed in the she-wolf's mind, breaking her our of her trance
"My lady..." The she-wolf turned around, about to go on her knees in front of the source of the voice.
"Stop that gesture" The lady creature, the source of the voice, a small and pink nine-tail fox just like in the mythical account scrunched her exquisite face housing a pair of eyes that seem to contain the cosmos at the she-wolf who was about to go on her knees.
"So tell me how much did you enjoy it when he pats you?" The pink fox rinding a soft white cloud questioned, her mischievous fox face donning a creepy smile.
"He is like a brother..."
"Stop!" The fox interrupted her after which her nine big and bushy tails seems to bulge behind her momentarily. "What if i tell you he is responsible for your nine brother's strange state." She added.
The she-wolf bowed respectfully." My lady you know i know already, about what happened at the lair. And what i think about this as you may already know and will likely request is, if he can put my nine brothers in that state easily, he should be the one you mentioned..." She paused and smiled. Then she continued. "Right now i am certain he is the one..."
"Is it because i showed interest in him?" With a sneer on her fox face, the Nine-tail fox questioned.
"Yes exactly." The she-wolf still with her head bowed reverently, replied.
"Oh!... I pray you are right." The pink fox muttered with a human voice and vanished suddenly after like she was never there in the first place.
Meanwhile, the she-wolf became confused and disoriented by her own strange action of bowing to no one as she couldn't remember anything about the pink fox and their conversations that happened in the mind.
"..."
Not long after and in her state of confusion she also left. Her figure disappeared into the distance, a place in the south specifically.
