3rd Person's Pov
Mily felt her world come crashing down when she received the phone call that night that her husband had been involved in an accident.
She went through so many emotions at once, from shock to denial to acceptance, and then came the grief. The last came when she saw Calvin's unconscious bloodied body being carried out of the ambulance and wheeled into the hospital.
She immediately joined the nurses by his side, crying and pleading with him not to leave her all alone in this world.
Her heart broke as she stared at his face, realizing that the last time they'd spoken had led to a heated argument.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but you can't come in with us." A nurse stopped her just as they wheeled him into the theater.
"Please, can I just go in? I promise I won't interfere with anything you're doing. Please, let me just stay with him. He needs me by his side."
